FINALLY made it to this very viral BBQ spot! We were greeted with popcorn and that was cute. Different than your average chips or bread. Our order started off with the Sweet Potato Corn Bread (VERY sweet), Chicken Quesadilla (super cheesy and I like the crunch of the tortilla) and the Onion Rings (solid, traditional, and yummy). Then we the a Mini Meat Platter. We weren't allowed to sub the Mac & Cheese (was ok... needed more sharp cheddar so it wasn't so flat) so we ordered a side Collard Greens (ALMOST as good as mine lol). All the meats were fall apart yummy with just a hint of smoke. The Burnt Ends were good and not oversauced, the Brisket was slightly, and I mean SLIGHTLY dry, the Beef Rib was fantastic, and the Oxtail left us both speechless. That Oxtail was TOP TIER!! The regular Corn Bread was significantly better than the Sweet Potato Corn Bread. And the cole slaw was a bust. The servers were nice, the place was clean. The prices are average for BBQ. I love that you can make reservations. My ONLY gripe was that it took FOREVER to get our food. Like, I know that meat is already smoked, what's taking so long??

Not like they used to be. The bbq ribs are no longer tender and the Mac and cheese is too soupy.

The staff is very friendly. The establishment is clean with a good amount of seating for dine in. The food was good. I had the jerk BBQ chicken with collards and candied yams. The yams are mashed but very caramelized and delicious, the collard greens are ok a little more smoky tasting which I didn't care for. Just my preference I like collards more savory with smoked turkey meat in it. My friend had the Halal beef bacon cheeseburger with aoli sauce combo which came with fries and a drink. She also ordered a side of sweet potato cornbread. She said everything was good and she was happy with your choice. The chef came out and spoke to us he wanted to make sure we enjoyed and everything came out ok. I would definitely check them out again.

One of the Best BBQ Experiences I've Had in a While This place truly impressed me from start to finish. The décor is inviting and hip--modern yet warm, making it a great spot to sit back and enjoy a meal. You're seated at a table and order from there, which adds a relaxed, full-service feel. A fun surprise was the complimentary popcorn brought to the table--not your typical BBQ starter. While it was a unique touch, I'm still on the fence about how well it pairs with smoked meats. The food came out fast and piping hot, which is always a plus. My son ordered the burnt end sandwich and declared it the best he's ever had. I stole a bite and had to agree--smoky, tender, and packed with flavor. I went with the chicken sandwich, and wow--my taste buds were having a party. It was bursting with flavor, juicy, and perfectly cooked. And I can't forget to mention the pickles--tangy, crisp, and a perfect complement to the rich BBQ. This spot is a hidden gem. I highly recommend it to anyone craving top-tier BBQ with a cool atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

Can here for lunch with the family after Eid. Place was packed and we had to wait well over an hour for our food. I wasn't aware that their menu is so limited now so we had to order some other things. For me I felt like the sauces were just too overpowering the meat. All I could smell for days was that bbq sauce.

I definitely couldn't wait to try this halal bbq! When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. I walked in and was greeted! I was served by a nice young man. I ordered: Passionfruit Boba Chicken Mishkaki Collard greens/beef bacon mac and cheese Short Rib Sandwich Spicy Wings Masala Fries Chicken tikka mac and cheese I loved the wings the most with the chicken tikka mac a close second. All in all had a really good experience!

Decided to try this place after seeing it all over instagram. Glad I did because the short ribs by far are the best I've had in a while at a restaurant. The cornbread melts in your mouth like cake, it was so delicious as well as the Mac and cheese. What I thought was very cute was the popcorn served while we waited for our food that was also a very nice touch. My only disappointments was the mixed vegetables that was drenched in so much butter and oil you couldn't eat it and the jerk chicken should have been described as a stew rather than your regular jerk chicken, it wasn't what we expected at all! The staff and the inside was clean so we would definitely be back but most likely we'll stay away from the veggies and the chicken!!!!

My family and I had a nice iftar dinner at Addy's a few weeks ago. We ordered three main entrees. The short rib sandwich was amazing. The flavor was a great balance of sweet and savory; the meat was tender & moist. The jerk smoked chicken was also delicious. However, the smoked brisket was disappointing and could have been prepared better. The sides were alright but not particularly noteworthy. As far as service goes, we were fortunate. Our waiter was friendly & accommodating; we wanted to ensure the food arrives right before sunset, and that's exactly what happened. I know barbecue can be unpredictable in terms of wait time, but there wasn't much crowd when we arrived. The ambiance is alright, but it can get a bit drafty in certain parts, which sucks when your food cools down too quickly. My impression from the other reviews is that Addy's has a consistency problem. Sometimes the food and service is great, but sometimes it's not. I'll probably give them another chance to try different items.

They give out popcorn on the house once I got seated. The menu at Addy's BBQ has a variety of options like BBQ, burgers, sandwiches, and appetizers. I like the Addys BBQ House Burger! It has a alot of BBQ meat yummy fries on the side. The creamy mac and cheese with ribs was also good. The ribs fall off the bone and are so tender and fresh. I came here around 5pm for dinner and it wasn't packed. The food took about 20 minutes to arrive. Friendly service here and I'll come again.

A buddy and I wanted to splurge and check this place during Turkey day eve. Normally, we would be heavily drinking on this day but we are old now. We got confused because we entered through the left side and saw no one. I thought we had to order at the counter. Then the staff led us to the bigger side of the restaurant. We ordered the beef rib with collard greens and yams. we also got the brisket with the Mac and cheese and cornbread. I wanted to Ball out and get smoked wings or the Jerk smoked chicken but the prices are on the higher side. We waited almost an hour for the food to come out. I did noticed a sign on the door that they went viral and expect to wait for the food. We were the first customers and there was only 1 other diner when we were there. Not sure for the really long wait. they did give us popcorn when we got out drinks. It was fresh and unsalted which I liked. The food was not that great. The brisket was thinly sliced and lot it's juices and was dry. I can see why the dish came with gravy. The beef rib for $30 was muted by all the BBQ sauce. The sides, plated in these cutesy cast iron portioned a tiny amount. I like the idea of doing BBQ restaurant with a modern fusion twist great but the execution is not there. A legit BBQ spot will have the BBQ sauces on the table. Also, on the tables there should be a paper holders with brown paper towel. However, the knife and forks are in a stainless steel tin with 2 napkins. I think this place needs to be concentrate on a smaller menu. They are taking a lot of time to prepare the food so they do not cook too much food that do not sell and eventually throw away. I also saw a bubble tea seal tape machine. Why is there a boba tea sold here? I am normally not this critical but the price is really high. Lunch was almost $50/person. I even paid in cash to get 5% off.

This place was such a disappointment. Initially, we were excited. You hear bbq, and peruse the menu and you read yams, collard greens and drive up to see a smoker and you're anticipating a great meal. FAR FROM IT. We entered and it was empty. One table had a few customers. That should've been our forewarning. Got the burnt ends sandwich because someone on Yelp said it was good. It wasn't. It was sooo dry and didn't have a hint of smoke to them. No smoke ring. No flavor. Didn't even taste like it was smoked. Fries tastes like they came out of a freezer bag. The cornbread was absolutely the worst cornbread I ever had. It was burnt and flavorless. They should've just used the jiffy mix. I thought there would be a southern flair especially when you hear collard greens and candied yams. No. Nothing tasted like you would anticipate. My husband did not enjoy his meal. Neither did I. Even my toddler, who will pick at our plate and enjoys eating what we order-he didn't even seem to enjoy it. Management & chef-please take these side dishes off your menu if you don't know how to make them. Stick to what you know, and figure out what you're good at because neither yams, greens nor cornbread is it. It's like going someplace where they claim to make banana pudding and they use graham crackers instead of nilla wavers or chessmen cookies. Stick to tradition. Or wow your customers with actual flavor if you're going to break tradition. If you're on the fence, and you have working taste buds-find someplace better. Your wallet and belly will thank you.

If you order something, you do not enjoy it at first bite. You brought it. No returns

First time visit. This has been in my bookmark for a moment, so decided to try it today. Time to see what East African BBQ taste like. When I was seated. They tell you the food will take 25-40 minutes to come out. And when your order is taken, they remind you the same thing. I'm not sure if this is the normal or just today. They start you with a bowl of popcorn - taste like fresh popcorn. No bread. Which is good because to wait so long for food and eat bread. You would fill up and eat little food. This is a Halal establishment. I decided on the Mishkaki chicken and beef skewers combo. With 2 sides of mixed veggies and yams. The mash potatoes don't come with gravy so I opted out of the potatoes. I ordered wings and brisket. The mishkaki comes out sizzling hot. I ordered the combo beef and chicken. But brought .e a plate if chicken and beef cause they messed up the order, but only charged me for the combo. Mishkaki are East African style kebabs smothered in a sweet and spicy marinade and charred on the grill. The brisket was cut with the grain and somewhat dry. The mashkaki comes out sizzling hot so you'll wait a few minutes to even be able to eat it. The sides, yams, mix veggies, and cornbread. Yes cornbread is a side and does not come with any meals. The chicken and beef mashkaki was just OK. The beef was tender with little flavor. Same as the chicken. The sides and ginger ale were all very good and saved the meal. The service was weak as the waitress did not come by to remove anything off the table that was really crowded. It is labeled a BBQ place but there was no sauces offered. With the brisket came gravy. So I thought the sauce that came with the brisket was a BBQ sauce. It actually had zero BBQ taste. But would have been good for the mash potatoes. They are reasonable priced and the location is good. With amble parking. But I would not give them a second chance.

A few logistical tips: while there is street parking, a public lot is conveniently located right across the street. The dining room is quite intimate with only about ten tables, and since they don't seem to take reservations, I recommend arriving early or being prepared for a wait. If you don't want to wait, they do offer takeout! Another suggestion is to browse their menu online before you arrive, the selection is extensive! We showed up without a game plan and needed several minutes just to decide because there were so many tempting choices! Luckily, our waiter was incredibly patient and helpful, answering every question we had. Once we decided, the real fun began. Every single item, and I'm not exaggerating, was phenomenal! We started with the fresh squeezed orange juice, which was sweet and perfectly portioned, along with a vanilla latte and a cappuccino. Both were classic, rich, and creamy. For the main course, we chose the "Chill + Qill It" Chilaquiles, which featured traditional corn tortillas topped with cotija cheese, avocado, pink sour cream, eggs, and your choice of protein. We also tried the Parkside Classic Sliders; the chicken was exceptionally crispy yet tender and juicy, served with eggs on a brioche bun. We opted to upgrade to the truffle fries, which were delicious! Although our sliders accidentally came with pickles, the staff was so kind and immediately offered to remake the dish or swap out the bun. Finally, we had the Grilled Chicken Egg Ranchero. It was like a breakfast version of nachos, loaded with beans, peppers, onions, an egg, those same crispy tortillas, and more of that signature pink cream! We couldn't leave without satisfying our sweet tooth, so we finished with the Cinnamon Roll French Toast. It tasted exactly like a fresh cinnamon roll, the glaze was incredible, and the bread was perfectly crisp on the outside while remaining fluffy inside. I honestly cannot wait to go back and work my way through the rest of the kitchen's creations. This restaurant is a absolute must-visit for their unique combinations and superb flavors!
