When you're hungry for something quick and you're watching your budget you probably look for a nearby fast food establishment with a Dollar Menu (some call it a Value Menu because choices are more than a dollar). For me that most often means a McDonald's. And that's how I ended up here for a quick bite as it was (almost) on my route. I had a little time to kill so I decided to eat in this time. They had classic counter service as well as two kiosks for fast, courteous, and efficient self service. I chose the counter and ordered a Cheeseburger, a McChicken, and a large Diet Coke; $1 each for $3 plus tax. I was surprised when I was given a plastic number tent to place on my table for delivery. I've experienced this at a few other fast food restaurants but it's not that common. I filled my drink and picked a clean, empty table and started reading an audio book. After a few minutes I thought I heard my order announced but I was told it would be brought to my table. After a few more minutes I went back to the counter to ask about my order. I was again told they would bring it out so I sat down and waited. A couple of minutes later the girl who had taken my order brought it out. It wasn't cold but it wasn't hot either. It was what I might call a cool warm. I think that it actually was my order that was announced after a couple minutes. I wasn't in the mood to have the order redone. It's unfortunate that they have good ideas but poor execution. The place was clean including the men's restroom; can't report for the ladies.

This location needs to be shut down Completely The smell In the inside of the restaurant is just terrible I stay right up the street from them And I always find a way to make it down to orchard lakes mcdonald's. They need to do something about that horrible smell its Like the pipes backed up and its sitting and gathering my food has been messed up numerous times Like to the point I want to contact the BBB And have them take a look into this location Like what is the issue I'm so fed up with this location the east side of detroit McDonalds are better service than this every single time I order from here My orders are messed up.

This is the worst McDonald's I've ever had the misfortune to visit. Horrible service, unprofessional staff.

It's the same company although I'm assuming people are leaving reviews here for the bubble tea more so than the chicken. I wanted a quick lunch and it turned out I had a free bubble tea reward in my KFT app, so that enticed me in today. I always get the almond milk tea with (lychee jellies, but they call it nata jelly), usually from the Sterling Heights location, and it's always delicious. The one I got today was just as delicious. The TKK chicken I ordered was a combo and it came with their kiwi punch drink, I haven't tried it yet but it looks pretty good. Be aware that when you're redeeming a free bubble tea on the app with points, it's only valid for the base tea. I still had to pay the $0.70 or so to get the nata jelly in it. If you're hungry, I do recommend the chicken there as well and the cheese curds, they were all delicious as was the biscuit. Overall this is a convenient location for me so I will be back again at some point.

It came with this cute straw topper that looked like her crown, super adorable. I also enjoyed their peach green tea with the lychee jellies, it was very good. I am a little sad, on the day we came I found of they got rid of their kwakwa baos just the day before. I was so sad, I really wanted one. They told me they might come out with bao bites. I was also told they are getting rid of the curly fries and might get some sort of chips. I will be excited if they do come out with some sort of bao, but I was very sad that I missed it by only 24 hours.

Was there in early June and the coffee and service were both good, as was the savory pastry I got. The main issue with this place is the noise... not for the usual reason in coffeeshops where they play music too loud, but it's a raucous and busy place, which speaks well of the business. But far worse than noisy conversation there's this bell on both the front and back entrances that plays a little five note electric tune every time someone comes in or leaves... Why is it there? Why is it needed? The fact that only a few people have noted it here perhaps speaks more of our noise-polluted lives than anything else, but it's maddening as this thing goes off literally every minute or more, constant, tintinnabulations of the bell, bell, bell, bell, bell... There was an employee taking a break on his phone listening to YouTube videos out loud, too... I guess we're all just so used to this now. So if you want a quiet cafe to get work done, this ain't it. Maybe it's more of a Central Perk scene, with people meeting socially, all who liked the place before it became cool.

Thanks to a Yelp event that I was able to know about a bakery called Culinary Combo privately owned…read moreby a mother and daughter - both I should say are extremely gifted bakers/pastry chefs. Treats are individually priced higher than commercially made ones from Costco, Kroger and so on ... but the brownies, lemon bars, rugelach and cookies were made from scratch. They also sell dog treats and have their own version of Dubai bars - filled with chocolate and pistachio combination. Cookies individually priced at $2 and above. Bars starts at $3.95 each slice. For breakfast, freshly bakes bagels and scones are sold, as well as freshly brewed coffee are served hot or cold. There's a table with an assortment of flavored syrup - with self serving pump at your own discretion...not a coffee lover? They also sell tea, hot cocoa and cider. The bakery is at the ground level of a residential and commercial building. It would be hard to miss for the residents especially in the morning...the smell of scones, bagels and freshly brewed coffee makes you want to have continental breakfast there before going to work. There was no music playing in the dining area but the sound of the oven and the scent of baked goods leveled up my mood to a nice day! I was greet by the daughter. She was very pleasant and thoughtful. Made me my iced coffee and packed the bar that I liked in a brown eco friendly container. The coffee was smooth and not acidic to my stomach. The chocolate bar that I had was sweet, soft and delicious. I highly recommend CCB. Just don't get lost on your way :-) it's at Franklin Road. If you see BP gas station and Bigaloria at Northwestern Highway, make a right turn in between and drive straight to Franklin Road. Make a right turn from a children's hospital...drive straight all the way until the dead end and make a left turn to a parking area ... from there you will see a big sign that says Culinary Combo Bakery. From Tuesdays to Fridays - store hours from 730am to 3 pm. On Saturdays, they close early at 12 noon. During Sundays and Mondays - no service. For the coming Easter Sunday or any special occasion, I suggest ordering treat baskets from them.

The bakery offers a smaller selection. I was there was an event, but was meeting friends later and so added some items. Everything I tried was great. The only issue I had was the chocolate was covered in cocoa powder that was a bit messy. The bumpy cake brownie was the standout, I will be back for another. I have a friend who does not like things to be too sweet, and so I got a raspberry rugelach, which she really liked. I also appreciated the items were very reasonably priced!
