Spent a couple of hours here working last night and found it to be a comfortable experience. It's a small location so seating is minimal but I had no trouble finding a table around 4pm on a Thursday. Wi-Fi was strong and outlets were plentiful. The staff was super friendly and chatty (my barista and I bonded over our new phones) and my drink was perfect (what's up Irish cream cold brew? I'm into you!). All in all a standard but positive Starbucks visit. No complaints here! read more

As Starbucks go this one is pretty standard. The location is convenient to 12 Mile Road, Telegraph Road, I-696, and Northwestern Highway or it is a nightmare at the wrong time of day (rush hour) because of all the traffic from 12 Mile Road, Telegraph Road, I-696, and Northwestern Highway and all of the infamous Michigan left turns involved. Assuming you survive all that and find one of the limited parking spots nearby, it is like finding an oasis. When I came here it was after the morning rush hour and I even had a choice of several parking spots. I already had an earlier breakfast but had a couple of hours to kill waiting for my wife to attend a real estate continuing education class nearby. I haven't been to a Starbucks recently for food and couldn't resist having one of their breakfast sandwiches along with a coffee. I ordered a large, I mean Venti, Pike Place Roast and a Double Smoked Bacon Cheddar Egg Croissant Breakfast Sandwich. There was plenty of seating available at this time so I FIXED my coffee with cream and Splenda and added a dash of Cinnamon then sat down to enjoy. I used Apple Pay for the second time with a Starbucks gift card that I had loaded and I also learned that Starbucks actually offers refills on drip coffee for a charge of 53¢ (free if you are a Starbucks Rewards member); better than the impression I had from before. But our usual place offers help yourself refills of drip coffee for free. The Sandwich was good, the coffee was good once I fixed it, and the staff were friendly and quick to get my order out to me. As i sat it got busier and the noise level went up but was always tolerable. Overall the experience was about what I expected. Since there are many many more Starbucks locations than my favorite haunt, I would stop at Starbucks again. read more

A pretty standard Starbucks but they do have the corner suite of this small strip plaza and that means more windows. Of course, more flat glass means that there's less to muffle the sounds of the espresso machines so this is a rather loud Starbucks. Tables, chairs, even some stools. All that and the usual coffees, pastries and sandwiches that Starbucks has to offer. Plus wifi. read more

My sister repeated her order 4 times. She asked for honey in her green tea, and the lady said "so Honey?" She told her yes and she said "so honey in the tea?" She had no personality as well. Getting in and out was terrible! Worst spot to place this on northwestern. My sister's drink took forever to make. All she wanted was a green tea with a little honey in it. We wanted at the window. No cars ahead of us or behind us. She opened it ans asked if we wanted a receipt and then vanished. Took another 5 minutes to get the drink. It was an odd experience overall. This is the most unkempt Starbucks I have been in. As soon as I walk in, I notice Crumbs and trash on the floor near the corners as if it has been pushed to the side. Behind the counter, someone is mopping the floor and continues mopping as she asks me "do you know what you want to order?" I tell her and she asks someone else if they had heard me. The chick that was actually making my order behaved & looked as if she had just rolled out of bed (and not in the "sexy" bedhead kinda way). She literally tossed my cinnamon roll on the counter in a too small paper bag that she had obviously stuffed it into and didn't even bother to fold the bag closed before hurling it onto the counter. I went to the station to get straws and napkins and there were torn up packets of condiments and their spilled contents all over the counter... Just ugh! With the shop looking such a mess I was afraid to go into the restroom! This Starbucks is within a plaza of other stores and so not only is the Starbucks itself cramped, but also the parking lot. There is also a very high volume of traffic within this lot anyone due to the gas station also within this same lot. I would avoid this location. It really makes Starbucks look awful... read more

The location is not that great, entering and exiting the parking lot from this location can be treacherous. My peppermint Latte was not that great. ;-( They used way to much peppermint, I couldn't taste the coffee at all. They have a cluttered and unorganized inside unfortunately and made it impossible to find a place to sit and relax. Had used one area for storage taking away from extra space that could've been used for extra seating. The staff was friendly but overwhelmed and understaffed. They did make me a new Latte without complaint or attitude and apologized for the mix up which was very professional and classy. ;-) I unfortunately won't come back. read more

I've been to this Starbucks a few times before, and it's not half bad. One of the busier ones in town, as it's right at thevery busy intersection of 12 mile and Telegraph. When I've been here, the service has been great, the drinks come out fine, and even though I don't often sit down here, tables are at a premium. Seems to be a hot spot for students studying, people meeting up, etc. The one down side of coming here, which isn't Starbucks fault, is parking is horrible. So is getting in and out of this place! Being that it's so close to the expressway, and a very busy intersection anyways, it can be a challenge to navigate. Watch out for airheaded drivers pulling in and out of the gas station, the deli and just overall not paying attention. If your not in a hurry, swing by. Not due to slow service, but just a pain to get in and out of, really. read more

This Starbucks restroom is he dirtiest, most paper-strewn facility of any Starbucks establishment I have ever visited. I have complained about lack of toilet paper, messy sinks, used towel and tissue on the floor and each time, over and over, the situation remains the unchanged. Incredibly slow. Employees are rude as hell. They will just randomly decide to "close" for no reason. Today I waited in line for 20 minutes and when I pull up to the speaker to place my order, they just say "we're closed". It's 2:30 in the afternoon and you just closed with 15 cars in line? and I just saw 10 cars in front of me all get served. Terrible customer service and just slow and lazy. For being a mini Starbucks this location definitely brews the strongest coffee and pumps out some of the most potent espresso in my area. It's limited in products and choices because the space isn't big enough to be a full Starbucks. Even though it's always crazy busy, the Baristas always seem to know everyone by name and what they normally order. Every time I walk in I'm greeted with a friendly smile and my iced soy latte waiting for me. The main reason I frequent this location is the strong espresso and the friendliest Baristas around. The parking can be challenging but that doesn't stop me. I like my lattes to be a perfect blend in taste and consistency and this Starbucks seems to get right every time. read more

So, typically this location would get 5 stars but today was the exception. The very rude barista working drive through informed us that a side of steamed half and half to go with 2 venti teas would be a charge of .70. The price isn't the issue, the fact that we order this at every Starbucks we go to and never have a fee is. When we were handed our half and half there was barley anything in the cup. We were then informed we get 1 inch - over that is a charge. We had 2 venti teas - they didn't specify if 1 inch is per drink/per size of drink... just overall rude. When my husband pointed out that we come to this location all the time the rude barista says, oh that's "so and so" (not using a name as that barista shouldn't be involved) and they do that because they like you. So as not to push any further we left - this barista wasn't worth any further discussion. Clearly they were bothered doing their job and let me just point out that if their location was open (which they haven't opened inside for a long time) I could drink tea with unlimited half and half all day long if I chose to do so. I have been to quite a few Starbucks around. This one is pretty standard. Lots of window space and nice location. viewable from the road. This one in particular didn't have my drink as fast as the others I don't know if they were training a new person or not also, super baristas were not talkative at all. When I asked how is the new carasca drink she just replied "it's good" I ordered it and it is good. The inside was very clean, except for the cream and sugar area they did not seem particularly busy in that moment. I still brought it to their attention. This is one of the worst locations I've ever visited. The line was long and when I got to the register, The cashier was arguing with another coworker. This was very unprofessional especially with the length of the lines. When it was time to pick up my order, my chai was terrible!!! I wasted 15 minutes in line and 5 bucks on bad chai. As others have stated, trying to get in and out of the parking lot for this location can be an utter nightmare. The store itself is very small and cramped and while I have always had pleasant service, it has never been prompt and the overall product is usually sub-par. Recently for example I was running 20 minutes early for work and opted to stop off and get a Cup of Joe. Long story short, I ended up being 10 minutes late getting in to my office which is less than two miles away from this location. The line wasn't that bad (like three people ahead of me) and there were four people working behind the counter so I am not sure why things were lagging. To make matters worse, my drink was barely lukewarm. You should have to slowly sip a hot beverage like this and it was to the point that I could have chugged the entire drink in less than a minute if I wanted to. I actually did for the second half because at that point it was cold and the taste profile was completely different (not in a good way). This isn't the first time I have experienced, but sadly it will more than likely be the last. If I am paying $6.00 or more for a drink I want it to be enjoyable. read more

This Starbucks is right near my work. Unfortunately every time I have been there they have messed up my order. Two times I went back to my office to open my bag and find the wrong food order and had to go back to get the correct item that I ordered. Another time they made my drink with regular milk when it said almond milk right on the cup, so I was unable to drink it. I now take the extra trip down the street to the Starbucks located on Northwestern Hwy to avoid having my order messed up repeatedly. read more

Why have a drive through, if you can handle it? I have attempted to order coffee in the drive through three times in the last couple weeks. Each of those times, I have sat for 5-10 minutes, not moving, before giving up and driving away. One additional visit, I had time to wait. It took me nine minutes to get my coffee in the drive through, even though the line wasn't very long. And they managed to mess up my order. Never again. This is a busy Starbuck, and small - more catering to take your coffee and go to work. They have 8-10 table, all small two person version, except one in the front. They do have one or two outdoor tables, but I think its for show. It is busy. Every table is usually taken in the morning, right thru mid-afternoon, and there is a steady traffic of people buying beverages. Parking can be tough too, there are a couple of popular other businesses in the strip mall and limited parking, as well as gas station traffic. The location is a busy intersection at 12 mile the Telegraph and north on Telegraph has no more stores until Maple (15 Mile). Its a standard Starbucks otherwise, I like the blonde blend, their regualr coffee tasted slightly burnt. read more

Why 3 stars maybe they haven't give the new team on that Starbucks another try. I used to stop going here due to they always make my coffee bad and i wasnt going there for a long time then. I gave that location another try and BAM!!! Just like that everytime they make my coffee right that feels good on my soul hahaha especially they are my team to start my morning right with these coffee they help me get thru my day. If you start to go there alot they know what you order and i think its great those barista are awesome hope starbucks treat you well. This is a brand new Starbucks conveniently located right down the street from my home so my prayers have been answered! This location is bigger than a few I've come across lately. Starbucks are pretty much the same across the board no matter where you go. Same food, same drinks, same service. The staff was very friendly and quick...for now.
