Double Smoked Bacon Cheddar & Egg Croissant Breakfast Sandwich with Large (oops...Vente) Pike Place Drip Coffee
David M.

As Starbucks go this one is pretty standard. The location is convenient to 12 Mile Road, Telegraph Road, I-696, and Northwestern Highway or it is a nightmare at the wrong time of day (rush hour) because of all the traffic from 12 Mile Road, Telegraph Road, I-696, and Northwestern Highway and all of the infamous Michigan left turns involved. Assuming you survive all that and find one of the limited parking spots nearby, it is like finding an oasis. When I came here it was after the morning rush hour and I even had a choice of several parking spots. I already had an earlier breakfast but had a couple of hours to kill waiting for my wife to attend a real estate continuing education class nearby. I haven't been to a Starbucks recently for food and couldn't resist having one of their breakfast sandwiches along with a coffee. I ordered a large, I mean Venti, Pike Place Roast and a Double Smoked Bacon Cheddar Egg Croissant Breakfast Sandwich. There was plenty of seating available at this time so I FIXED my coffee with cream and Splenda and added a dash of Cinnamon then sat down to enjoy. I used Apple Pay for the second time with a Starbucks gift card that I had loaded and I also learned that Starbucks actually offers refills on drip coffee for a charge of 53¢ (free if you are a Starbucks Rewards member); better than the impression I had from before. But our usual place offers help yourself refills of drip coffee for free. The Sandwich was good, the coffee was good once I fixed it, and the staff were friendly and quick to get my order out to me. As i sat it got busier and the noise level went up but was always tolerable. Overall the experience was about what I expected. Since there are many many more Starbucks locations than my favorite haunt, I would stop at Starbucks again.

A pretty standard Starbucks but they do have the corner suite of this small strip plaza and that means more windows. Of course, more flat glass means that there's less to muffle the sounds of the espresso machines so this is a rather loud Starbucks. Tables, chairs, even some stools. All that and the usual coffees, pastries and sandwiches that Starbucks has to offer. Plus wifi.

See what I mean about this location :-( killing my vibe)

This is the most unkempt Starbucks I have been in. As soon as I walk in, I notice Crumbs and trash on the floor near the corners as if it has been pushed to the side. Behind the counter, someone is mopping the floor and continues mopping as she asks me "do you know what you want to order?" I tell her and she asks someone else if they had heard me. The chick that was actually making my order behaved & looked as if she had just rolled out of bed (and not in the "sexy" bedhead kinda way). She literally tossed my cinnamon roll on the counter in a too small paper bag that she had obviously stuffed it into and didn't even bother to fold the bag closed before hurling it onto the counter. I went to the station to get straws and napkins and there were torn up packets of condiments and their spilled contents all over the counter... Just ugh! With the shop looking such a mess I was afraid to go into the restroom! This Starbucks is within a plaza of other stores and so not only is the Starbucks itself cramped, but also the parking lot. There is also a very high volume of traffic within this lot anyone due to the gas station also within this same lot. I would avoid this location. It really makes Starbucks look awful...

Strawberry Refresher. Great alternative for non coffee people.

Hillbilly Food Critic Review: Location: 2/5 (hard to get to, no drive through) Atmosphere: 3/5 (feels small for a Starbucks) Food: 5/5 (no deviation from other Starbucks) Price: 2/5 (as like most Starbucks, it's expensive) I stopped by this location this morning. This location is a little cramped, but staff is friendly. Same good drinks and food as other Starbucks.

This Starbucks restroom is he dirtiest, most paper-strewn facility of any Starbucks establishment I have ever visited. I have complained about lack of toilet paper, messy sinks, used towel and tissue on the floor and each time, over and over, the situation remains the unchanged. The customer pays high prices for premium product. Is it unreasonable that expectations run higher?? With these photos I bid this Tel-Twelve Southfield Starbucks a permanent good bye.

Treat your taste buds to the most delectable Chia Tea on the market. So euphoric and addictive. Love Teavana teas.

It's the same company although I'm assuming people are leaving reviews here for the bubble tea more so than the chicken. I wanted a quick lunch and it turned out I had a free bubble tea reward in my KFT app, so that enticed me in today. I always get the almond milk tea with (lychee jellies, but they call it nata jelly), usually from the Sterling Heights location, and it's always delicious. The one I got today was just as delicious. The TKK chicken I ordered was a combo and it came with their kiwi punch drink, I haven't tried it yet but it looks pretty good. Be aware that when you're redeeming a free bubble tea on the app with points, it's only valid for the base tea. I still had to pay the $0.70 or so to get the nata jelly in it. If you're hungry, I do recommend the chicken there as well and the cheese curds, they were all delicious as was the biscuit. Overall this is a convenient location for me so I will be back again at some point.

It came with this cute straw topper that looked like her crown, super adorable. I also enjoyed their peach green tea with the lychee jellies, it was very good. I am a little sad, on the day we came I found of they got rid of their kwakwa baos just the day before. I was so sad, I really wanted one. They told me they might come out with bao bites. I was also told they are getting rid of the curly fries and might get some sort of chips. I will be excited if they do come out with some sort of bao, but I was very sad that I missed it by only 24 hours.

Was there in early June and the coffee and service were both good, as was the savory pastry I got. The main issue with this place is the noise... not for the usual reason in coffeeshops where they play music too loud, but it's a raucous and busy place, which speaks well of the business. But far worse than noisy conversation there's this bell on both the front and back entrances that plays a little five note electric tune every time someone comes in or leaves... Why is it there? Why is it needed? The fact that only a few people have noted it here perhaps speaks more of our noise-polluted lives than anything else, but it's maddening as this thing goes off literally every minute or more, constant, tintinnabulations of the bell, bell, bell, bell, bell... There was an employee taking a break on his phone listening to YouTube videos out loud, too... I guess we're all just so used to this now. So if you want a quiet cafe to get work done, this ain't it. Maybe it's more of a Central Perk scene, with people meeting socially, all who liked the place before it became cool.

Thanks to a Yelp event that I was able to know about a bakery called Culinary Combo privately owned…read moreby a mother and daughter - both I should say are extremely gifted bakers/pastry chefs. Treats are individually priced higher than commercially made ones from Costco, Kroger and so on ... but the brownies, lemon bars, rugelach and cookies were made from scratch. They also sell dog treats and have their own version of Dubai bars - filled with chocolate and pistachio combination. Cookies individually priced at $2 and above. Bars starts at $3.95 each slice. For breakfast, freshly bakes bagels and scones are sold, as well as freshly brewed coffee are served hot or cold. There's a table with an assortment of flavored syrup - with self serving pump at your own discretion...not a coffee lover? They also sell tea, hot cocoa and cider. The bakery is at the ground level of a residential and commercial building. It would be hard to miss for the residents especially in the morning...the smell of scones, bagels and freshly brewed coffee makes you want to have continental breakfast there before going to work. There was no music playing in the dining area but the sound of the oven and the scent of baked goods leveled up my mood to a nice day! I was greet by the daughter. She was very pleasant and thoughtful. Made me my iced coffee and packed the bar that I liked in a brown eco friendly container. The coffee was smooth and not acidic to my stomach. The chocolate bar that I had was sweet, soft and delicious. I highly recommend CCB. Just don't get lost on your way :-) it's at Franklin Road. If you see BP gas station and Bigaloria at Northwestern Highway, make a right turn in between and drive straight to Franklin Road. Make a right turn from a children's hospital...drive straight all the way until the dead end and make a left turn to a parking area ... from there you will see a big sign that says Culinary Combo Bakery. From Tuesdays to Fridays - store hours from 730am to 3 pm. On Saturdays, they close early at 12 noon. During Sundays and Mondays - no service. For the coming Easter Sunday or any special occasion, I suggest ordering treat baskets from them.

The bakery offers a smaller selection. I was there was an event, but was meeting friends later and so added some items. Everything I tried was great. The only issue I had was the chocolate was covered in cocoa powder that was a bit messy. The bumpy cake brownie was the standout, I will be back for another. I have a friend who does not like things to be too sweet, and so I got a raspberry rugelach, which she really liked. I also appreciated the items were very reasonably priced!
