TLDR; bad service, rude workers, food accommodations not met. me and my boyfriend regularly visit this mcdonald's as it's nearby and easy, and the quality used to be good (keywords- USED TO) recently they've messed up our order every single time we visit for the last few months. Today we wanted the collectors cup and so we ordered a big mac no pickle, no diced onion, a McChicken with add ons, fries, and chicken nuggets with ranch, and a caramel frapp. I'll start with the good stuff- caramel frappe was good, and we received our cup. now the bad- my big mac had onions and pickles which i requested off, my boyfriend didn't receive mustard or pickles on his sandwich, and we ordered a 6 piece nugget and only got 4, and our fries had no salt at all. The service is dismissive and bad, they messed up our food multiple visits now, and the staff here is very rude. Definitely will not be coming back and wasting our money here, and will instead try a new location because other locations do a good job, not this one though Oh and they definitely did NOT mishear our order, because we ordered online! read more

I see a lot of reviews for this McDonald's that are complete trash, grated they are from a year or so ago. I honestly don't think that it's very fair. Many people complain about the wait for food, or the quality. This place isn't fine dinning - it's a McDonalds on Darrow road, Ohio LOL. In the mornings this place can be very busy, so it's understandable that something like that can cause frustration - but from my perspective the line goes by very fast, especially for the amount of cars. Another review complained about cold coffee, I once did receive a cold coffee as well - the staff was very kind about it and genuinely apologetic. They made sure to brew my coffee fresh and hot, and because of the mistake an employee gave me a free large fry for the inconvenience as well! Again, I don't think that it's fair that these old reviews are taking over the overall review especially when they are outdated! The staff here is always so kind and understanding especially if there is a mistake! Another thing I have learned about this place, is that the employees LOVE seeing doggies! Spent over $10 for a #1 - Big Mac combo. In years past, a combo included a drink. Now, they charge for the drink, but don't tell you until you get your receipt. The burger was so salty I threw it away. I'm going back to the Whopper. Much better and other fast food joints provide coupons. Why would I pay this much again for something I can't eat. Advertises that it has a PlayPlace. It absolutely does not. It has some plastic gating around a big mat. As a parent, I was disappointed when I saw that there was no equipment to play on. Further, it said the "playplace" was for three and under only. I was also not impressed with the fact that my child's apple slices tasted funny. Finally, the toys stunk. My son got some cheap Chinese made stuffed whatever -- not what was advertised for boys. My three year old got some cheapie heart thing with lip balm in it. I ran into this McDonald's just to use the bathroom. I am very grateful for McDonald's being all over the US for the use of their bathrooms. I haven't eaten in a McDonald's in 20 years. I would've given a one star except for the fact that I'm very happy that I can use their bathroom. LOL the reason for the low Reading even though I didn't eat any food here is due to the fact that the floor was absolutely disgusting. 330 pm tried to get a coffee and burger. The drive thru line was painfully slow. The burger was barely thrown together and the coffee was cold. COLD. How does that happen by accident. I suspect he was trying to send me off instead of brewing a new pot, although I sat in the drive through for 10-15 minutes which is more than enough time to make coffee. Ruined my already crappy day. This McDonalds has really suffered since their renovation completed around Labor Day. Wait times in the drive-thru are way beyond normal and there is never any explanation. On September 21, I had completed a mobile order but could tell as soon as I arrived that in spite of very few cars it was going to be a long wait. Being bored, I decided to time the action. 3 cars ahead of me, customer waited at the order here speaker for 6 full minutes before being waited on. 2 cars ahead of me, it was 2 minutes. 1 car ahead of me, it was 7 minutes. Once it was my turn, it was only 2 minutes but I decided to say "hello" to get their attention. I don't know, maybe the new speaker system doesn't register when cars drive up. The person behind me took 3 minutes to get waited on. Only the second drive-thru window was open. I got my food 25 minutes after first getting in line. That is just CRAZY. I asked the young man what was going on, and he said there were not enough employees and there were many people in the dining room. I only saw maybe 7 cars in the parking lot, some of which had to belong to employees, so I'm skeptical. I wish I could say this was an isolated incident, but I see it regularly when driving past the store or when I make the mistake of trying again. read more

A group of 3 employees stood around talking while my son and I was at the counter for at least 5 minutes. No line. Little in the drive-thru. When a lady FINALLY came over, she asked ,"Can I help you?" THEN proceeded to continue her conversation with the group she came from, while I had to wait for her to be ready to take my order! Little things. McDonald's is not great food but I was very pleased this morning by the service. I tend to like my coffee with milk, not creamer. I asked for a coffee with milk.
