I'm mostly skipping McDonald's for reasons but they can generally be counted on for wifi and that's what I needed today. I had to get my laptop online and for some reason, my phone hotspot wasn't working. I found a spot in their parking lot where I could connect and got my emails sent and recieved. When that was complete, I took advantage of the restroom. It needed some help with water on the floor, paper on the floor and a dirty mirror. I had higher hopes and opted not to use it. Service is very bad! In store customers are ignored. Manager just stood in back at the bag counter even when not getting food orders. When people walked up to pay or get help we were told no one is working up front! Waited almost 20 mins for my frappe because I was told they forgot about it! Customers were stocking straws because they were out and no one was monitoring the dining room or front area! We also found hair in our food! 100% would not recommend! read more

They don't have a lot at the warehouse everything there is expensive so when I come through, I always try to get the sausage egg burritos. I always come through around 5:20 in the morning. I know most people are not going to be looking on Yelp for McDonalds, but hey we were in the small town of Strasburg and this McDonalds was just fine. They food came out a little slow but it they didn't have a lot of employees. Importantly the tables, floors and bathroom were clean. It is right attached to a gas station and store. They don't give out receipt. ordered from kiosk and then told they can't give out receipts with kiosk order. That is the only way to order inside. 2 muffin sandwiches and 2 hash browns over $19. I am unable to verify what was bought without receipt. It seems if you check their prices something is up. If you don't get a receipt RETURN your order and get refund or you will be buying an employee a meal or McDonal's is getting a little extra. We stopped here to get 3 mocha frappes at 2:39pm on a Monday. The restaurant was not busy, nor was the drive through, however it took 20 minutes to receive our order. And that was only because we went up to the counter to ask about it! The gentleman who looked at our ticket was nice and got started making them, but we still wound up waiting longer than normal. I'm not sure what was going on, but this was not "fast" food at all. I don't recommend this location at all. I just went to the local McDonald's in Strasburg, VA. BAD EXPERIENCE in the drive through. Wait time was exceedingly long. When we got to the window, we were given someone else's order. When we got what we originally ordered, it wasn't prepared as we ordered it. Everything was messed up! Another thing, why does the franchise owner of this store hire so many young incompetent people?? Every time I go there the "kids" are standing around playing on their phones. No one seems to do the jobs they were hired to do. No one wears hair restraints or gloves when they are handeling food. If you think you are mature enough to have a job, then put forth your best effort and do the job you were hired to do.
