Every single time I come to this location I have to pull up. They had me pull up for 2 coffees today along with multiple other cars. I was pulled up for 20 minutes. I have been here a few times as a rest area on my drive. I have never had a problem and usually grab a bite to eat. Service is pretty good here. The interior of the restaurant looks like it was remodeled in the last few years so the place looks pretty good. I have been to this McDonalds several time in the last 8 month, I can honestly say that 2 of 4 have been bad experience 's. This time I actually checked my order before leaving, it was wrong, went inside, they actually knew, and gave me the wright order. Upon biting into my burger, there was so much mayonnaise on it, it was non edible. Threw it in the garbage, and went to del taco. I will not eat at this establishment ever again., after reading all of the other reviews Clearly the owner does not give a shit about what he/she is putting out to the public. Look. It's McDonald's. What do you expect? A decent meal for a decent price with mostly clean bathrooms. This meets all of those requirements, but today was exceptionally good for this restaurant in particular. I haven't had a cheeseburger in 2 months and these burgers were put together beautifully. Everything was in proportion, the pickles placed precisely, the onions and ketchup and cheese were centered in the bun. They were delicious. Also the fries were golden brown and crunchy. Nice and fresh. Stop here if you're traveling between El Paso and Albuquerque and you will have your expectations met, and maybe remind the staff if the bathrooms are getting a little unruly, they were happy to get more paper towels (they still had the blower in there) Also - Don't use the kiosks for ordering, they apparently didn't do any market research when putting together the interface so it takes at least twice as much time to order than waiting in line. read more

I went to this McDonald's this morning to use the restrooms and get some food. I was waiting to use the restroom, and an employee came out of the stall smelling of fentanyl. And the baby changing area had burnt pieces of aluminum. I understand McDonald's is just a fast food restaurant, but there are standards when it comes to a drug-free area, especially a family friendly restaurant. This has been a tried and true stop for us. Whether we were coming to visit the hot springs or lake or were just passing through to Las Cruces, this has been our bathroom stop and quick bite to eat. They keep it clean and tidy while providing hot and fresh food. The customer service is decent - which you can almost always expect in a small town - and fast! They are currently undertaking a major remodel so the lobby is closed but the drive thru is still serving food. There is a bathroom across the street at the gas station or at the Walmart if you are in desperate need but the food is still good and served fast! The remodel is also coming along quickly so I doubt it will be long before the full facilities are back in action. I have no doubt that they will be ready to go by the time the swarms of families descend on the lake for boating season! read more

So, we went to this McDonald's after a long day of fishing. We decided to pick some food up by going through the Drive Thru. There was no one in line so we got to go straight to the ordering kiosk. That's where the trouble began. I have always been able to rate by food and service but, going through the Drive Thru, I am rating on service. It started out ok. The young man on the other side of the speaker did the generic " welcome to McDonald's how can I help you..." We started to order and then all of a sudden he started saying something completely different from what we were saying. It was not a speaker/ headset issue, you could tell he was doing it on purpose because the first part of the order correct. He had repeated the order back without a flaw. Then the second order, he said it right first. It was 2c. With a Dr Pepper. He said it . Suddenly he said " A 4b with sweet tea....we don't have any sweet tea sir" ( my husband was ordering) "No" my husband said. We ordered a Dr Pepper and it's 2c" " we don't have sweet tea" said the McDonalds server. He kept saying " we don't have sweet tea " for everything we said back to him! It took us a minute to realize he was totally doing it on purpose, then we just left. No report to another server, nothing. We didn't want to go inside and order because we did not want to chance this guy handling our food. It was disappointing and something to make you steamed up at the same time. Warning: if you have to go, try to order inside. Don't go through the Drive Thru. We ended up going to Walmart and getting sandwich supplies. The sandwich turned out to be awesome! read more

I ordered 3 hash browns and I was only given one,after I paid on the app I was asked to pay again even though I showed them my order was paid for and already cleared my account,I ordered an egg McMuffin with a folded egg and regular bacon instead of Canadian bacon, I was given a round poached egg and Canadian bacon. Stopped by while traveling to use the Internet and have breakfast. This location has been redesigned into a McCafe, so its more inviting then the old locations. The biggest down size was the bathrooms... they were one of the smelliest restrooms I've encountered and I think it's because the plumbing is messed up at least in the men's. read more

Haven't eaten at McDonald's since I was in my late 20s. This McDonald's had great service with a smile. Even at such a late hour. Food tasted fresh and just as I remembered it surprisingly! Five stars to the Manager who was running the entire unit by her self which I believe should not ever occur to a woman or for a man for that matter. Safety is essential for your employees and I believe that they deserve to have that type of security. Also one thing that noticed about fast food restaurants is there for fast food restaurants is you can taste the burnt oil in their french fries. The french fries did not have a burnt taste fresh oil must have been used. Rudest McDonald's EVER! To save time my boyfriend and I ordered on the touchscreen in the front. We sat down expecting to dine-in like the screen gave us the option to do. Then a rude kid in a tank top practically threw our food at us, advised us we weren't allowed to eat in the restaurant because the lobby was closing and acted offended when we asked for our drinks and Mc flurry (that they forgot). As we left we noticed a large family still sitting there eating. We ate in the parking lot and even as we drove off this family still occupied the dining room. They just got do e remodeling this place a few months ago but for some reason they can't seem to keep it clean!
