I waited 20 minutes on my order only to receive the order and the food wasn't right. Once I went inside I saw kids playing over the grill, one of them was drinking a sweet tea while making orders, cell phones were also out while making orders. There were also multiple angry customers waiting in the lobby to get their food as well. There was no sense of urgency at all. They seemed to not care that customers had been waiting close to 30 mins for their food. When I asked to speak to a manager the employees kept walking. I would not recommend this McDonalds at all. This is the most rude McDonald's I have ever been too. The drive thru is so slow. I can go inside and get my food faster. I went there for breakfast today in the drive thru on my way to work. Three cars in front of me and it was 20 minutes before I got to the first window. I drove off and left and so did other cars. They need faster employees or something. This is ridiculous. Union city exit off I-85 McDonalds. If I had intended to eat here I wouldn't have after visiting the bathroom. Only one accessible toilet. 2roll dispenser, empty. Roll of toilet paper sitting on top of a dirty trash can. Toilet paper on the floor. Outside the stall, trash can pulled a few inches away from the wall, overflowing. I thought about reporting the conditions to management, but looking at the stains on the wall, decided that management was the problem. Horrible, horrible service. This is not the first time I have written a review for this location. I usually stop every morning after work to grab breakfast for my daughter and myself. Most of the time they are not open on time. Always an excuse. System down, manager stole all the money out the store and safe, you name it they have said it. Now as a customer why would that be a topic discussed in front of customers. If I stop 7 days a week, they may be open on time 2 times. No exaggeration. I stopped tonight to get my grandson some chicken nuggets. For what I ordered My total should have been $5.60 plus taxes,(frequently purchase same thing) it rang up $7.52. I questioned it and asked for the receipt at the payment window was told the machine was broken, I may be able to get one at the pick up window. When I finally received the receipt I saw that they had over charged me. I brought it to the cashiers attention, her explanation was it's the taxes. Huh?? Taxes are totaled per line and at the bottom. She left window and someone who didn't identify himself (already with an attitude) came over, "What you need", Now I politely explained the issue, he looked at the receipt and said it was correct, you got your food, what you want me to do. I said check your menu price, he walked over and looked at the inside menu came back and said I told my supervisor about the price issue,(looking at me as if I'm supposed to drive off). I said let me speak to your supervisor, he said he just left. I said so how is that helping me that you told him so unless you giving me some more food then you over charged me and owe me some money. His immediate response was do you want a refund. I said yes. I pulled up to wait per his instructions. He came and handed me the receipt for the purchase and the receipt for the refund. However, when I looked at the receipt for the refund it was less than what I had paid. I walked up to the door to go into the business it was locked, I walked around to the other door it was locked. Finally I went up to the drive thru window and let the cashier know that he did not refund me the total I had paid. She walked off after about 5 minutes the guy who had been sweeping the floor proceeded to hand me .05 cents ( now in the background I could here the manager saying lord let me give her this lil money so she can get the f--K on). I told the cleaning guy that they need to learn how to count cause they owed me more than that. The cashier finally came up and handed me the remainder of my money owed. I just don't understand how this establishment can continue to have this bad customer service. What is the franchise, owners or headquarters doing about this? We work hard for our money and choose to spend our money at this establishment because it is a choice, so why can't we receive the customer service that we deserve? Without customers there wouldn't be jobs for these employees. There needs to be some type of training. This establishment is being ran by children, no accountability. There are so many negative reviews and comments regarding this location. Check out the Next door app. This was the final straw for me. After a day of running errand I promised my son McDonald's, so I had to keep my promise. While attempting to place my order through the window I am repeatedly being cut off and not given the opportunity to answer the questions being asked. The conversation went like this. May I have a Cheeseburger Happy Meal plan with cheese for a boy? Cashier: I mean you don't want nothing on it? Me: Excuse me? Plain with cheese.. Cashier: So nothing on it? Me: Ma'am cheese! Run as far away from this McDs as fast as humanly possible! I know, who writes a review on McDonalds? I do because it was one of the poorest experiences I have ever had in a restaurant. It started with getting cut off in while in line for the drive thru, not your fault McDs, but maybe a sign telling patrons where the drive thru begins? So I decided to cut my losses and go inside. This might have turned out to be a good choice since the car that cut me off was still in line to pay at the first window while I walked out with my order. Unfortunately, they destroyed my order and its my own damn fault for not checking it, but then again, they do have employees and I am not one of them. Missing fries, wrong sandwich and wrong sauce for the nuggets. This all happened only after the young lady behind the counter wanted to tell me what a bitch her manager was and if I wanted to take the manager home with me?!?! Then I get the wrong order after they called my name, and did I mention that the nuggets were cardboard and tasted as if they had been in a warming bin for 5 hours? I visited this drive thru location 12/28/14 in the afternoon. After paying for my order, I attempted to drive ahead to the pick up window to get my food when an employee opened the pick up window and coughed up a thick wad of green snot and spit it out in front of me! I KID YOU NOT. Afterwards he just slammed the window and went back to preparing food like he was in the woods or somewhere primitive. I hit the brakes so his nasty wad wouldn't hit my bumper. I asked the young lady who that guy was, he heard me and poked his head around the corner and said his name was LORENZO. I drove away in sheer disgust! It was like watching someone vomit and then have to eat hot food afterwards, eww, that thick snot in front of me is still in my mind. Lorenzo totally ruined my appetite. I ended up giving my food to my son's buddy once I got home. Lorenzo needs some serious re-training in restaurant do's/dont's and hygiene, and public behavior. Who does that?
