The absolute worst experience I have ever had. I hate to say this but I truly felt like a victim of domestic violence. I didn't get what I paid for and went back with my receipt in hand with the honesty of the problem and I was yelled at and physically about swung on by the manger. The drive thru moved reasonably fast and the employees were nice! The 1 & 2 windows seemed confusing because we were told to go to the 2nd window yet they handed us our order at the 1st window. No complaints- just weird! The drive station was also a struggle, to get in and out of the parking lot when trying to go a certain way. The diet cokes were crispy though! And the girl even pushed down the buttons on top so we knew which drinks were what! read more

Went in for a quick lunch to go. They made the chicken nuggets and fries fresh for me, and they tasted perfectly. The bacon McDouble wasn't that hot; need to always ask for everything to be made fresh. Staff here were friendly and they get you your food quick. Long lines ups at lunch but they move fast because the staff is hoppin'. read more

I'm sorry to say that this place has become worse and worse over the years. If I had the option to give no stars, I would definitely choose that. Firstly, the staff is absolutely horrible. They never seem to be interested in working and their doors are almost always closed. I understand that COVID has brought about many changes, but the one downtown is open inside and seems to be doing just fine. Secondly, the staff is extremely rude, especially to the older folks around Vero who don't quite know how to use the kiosk and feel more comfortable ordering at the counter. That's unacceptable. Lastly, they're downright nasty and mess up on half the orders. Half of the time, you can see them having a party inside and not doing anything to serve their customers. So, my advice to you is to skip this place altogether and go to Chick-fil-A next door. They have much better food and service. read more

Better service than I expected at this recently renovated McDonald's on South Federal Highway in Vero Beach, Florida. Your choice on ordering - you can either speak with a human or you can use the self-service kiosk. Despite the many opportunities to eat at Downtown Friday, my youngest daughter and her friend wanted McDonald's. So McDonald's it was. Kids wanted large fries and Oreo McFlurry's. I debated the double fish filet combo meal as It was Friday and I observe Lent. A cashier took our order. Quick, easy, and to the point - female cashier was polite and indicated that the order would be brought to our table upon preparation. A few minutes passed and our food was delivered, including an extra on the French Fries. I quickly checked my receipt and determined that our order was one combo meal and the two desert drinks. When the error was brought to our cashier's attention, she told us to keep the extra fries. Store needs a little better upkeep on cleanliness. It's a relatively recent remodel and should be better maintained. Plenty of parking, but you have to walk across a double drive-thru lane if parked on the north side of the store. William E. This is the 3rd time in approx 2 months I have stopped at this store, there was a problem each time. From being told that everyone HAD to place their orders on the elec boards & staff refusing to take an order any other way, to long waits with 1 cashier while 4 staff were sitting on "break", to the manager refusing to talk to customers or resolve the problem (cold FFs & no dippping sauce). Other customers walked out while yelling for service... It is apparent that this store is poorly managed and a extremely poor reflection of McDs standards. What is the deal with shutting down and only taking cash after 2 am Thursday through Saturday it seems like that's what's going on ? I waited in line for 20 minutes before they took my order and tell me there only excepting cash you can't imagine how frustrated I was. This place recently was torn down and built again from the ground up. Prior to demolition this was the most horrible McDonald's I've ever been in, in my entire life. The service was slow and very disorganized. I've waited 20 minutes for a sausage McMuffin. I've waited 20 minutes in the drive thru for a ice cream cone. Awful awful times. I've been so angry at the slow lines that I've left and went back to work hungry. I've only been to the new place once and it was much better. It's a McDonalds. The food is the same at all the others in the U.S. You either like it or you don't. read more

I never been in the old store, but tried the refurbished store. It looked impressive and cute, but the food and service did not match! The service was poor and I wish some fast food workers could act like they liked their jobs. It makes it very unpleasant to have a mean looking face taking your order. We visited on their grand re-opening and you would think their sodas would be in order, but the sodas were flat and if I had known, I could of told them, but I shouldn't always have to do their jobs. I have had much better McDonalds and I won't be back. This is the worst of the three Vero McDonalds me and my family have tried. This McDonald's has gotten crazy busy after being rebuilt. The service was fast and friendly, the restaurant was clean and inviting. The food was McDonald's. I would suggest some form of device to define a line at the registers. It is very confusing having multiple lines plus all of the people waiting for food standing around. read more

The serve times are so slow that the grill parking is full, the driveways clogged. Menus displaying incorrect selection for time of day. Absolute low point for McDonalds. Terrible operation. I worked there at 16, they broke child labor laws constantly and worked me sometimes 40 hours a week. A few of the managers have no common sense and are extremely rude to both customers and employees. Put my two weeks notice in and they tried making me work past it- no thank you. read more

This is the worst McDonald's on the face of the planet. They are so slow it's like they are moving backward. Poorly run by management.

I absolutely hate this McDonald's location!! Everytime we order food, it comes out the window cold, we get the wrong food, or the staff is rude. There have been several times we have ordered items that were not put in the bag, iced coffee they charged us for extra sugar and didn't put ANY in it, or custom orders that they charged for things like cheese or bacon and didn't put it on the food. The night shift manager is very rude and does not know how to run that store. As someone who has worked in fast food, I could do a better job blindfolded. Better yet, my 14 month old son could do a better job! I have never had such a bad experience with any fast food joint ever!! I do not recommend visiting this location. If you are craving a Big Mac or something else, I suggest going to another location altogether. read more

I'm so amazed at the lack of service. They first forgot to hand me my change, then proceeded to let me almost leave without a part of my order. After arriving to my home I realized that one of my drinks was not what I ordered. We thought we'd give it another try after the event we went to tonight and the service was just as expected. I ordered a large coffee with cream and sugar and what did I get? BLACK. They almost forgot my smoothie if it wasn't for my significant other reminding me and was told that it was my fault the system didn't go through because I didn't order it correctly. service was not very good. food was not delivered as ordered on 2 seperate trips. first time i ordered a quarter pounder meal with no pickles they gave me two pieces of beef into buns no cheese no onions no pickles no nothing. Second time I ordered a quarter pounder with cheese again with no pickles what I got was a quarter pounder with cheese and nothing else. Both times my food was really greasy and cold. If you get the orders better I will give you a better review. read more
