Stopped in for breakfast at around 9:30 on a Thursday and was surprised we had to wait for a table. After about 10 mins we were seated in a spacious booth. The interior of the diner is really cool - lots of tchotchkes, cars and the menus are old license plates. A guy at the next table over said that one of our menus was his old license plate. Really cool. The food was also really good. We had a couple of cinnamon rolls to start and they were super tasty, gooey and covered in pecans. They're a must-try in my book. I ordered the special Cadillac omelette - I believe it was tomato, provolone, sausage, onion and sun-dried tomato. Very very tasty. I wasn't expecting it to be that great because the omelettes are folded over the fillings instead of them being cooked in, but it was really good. Great service too. What a cool little local place. It was obviously the place to be as we had to wait. 45 minutes to get a table. They had a great selection of items. We had the Philly Steak And cheeseburger. Both were very good. Pricing was very good. Love this place and whenever I'm back in town I try to get here at least once. This place is like if a great diner and the Pixar movie cars had a baby it would be this. Fascinating decor with all things cars and license plates from all over the country. Even the menu is car themed. The food is great. Had the steak and eggs special this trip and it was amazing. Not pictured is their delicious homemade biscuits. This place is not just a great breakfast spot but their lunch is fantastic as well. Service is even better than the food. This is such a great place. WE have been coming here for more years than I can remember. It was always a favorite of my father's and he use to take my daughter there for hot dogs for many years. When he passed we continue to go there as it has so many great memories for us. It is a very cute place, nicely decorated and the service is always excellent. I have yet to eat breakfast here but the sandwiches are always excellent. It is fast and efficient and you walk away full. Very nice themed breakfast spot here in Vero Beach! Love how every the place is decorated with car memorabilia such as license plates and old school business plaques. The menu was inside two licensed plates which was very nice touch! I had the Dixie Highway which consisted of two medium eggs, home fries, and smoked ham with some orange juice. First time in and it definitely won't be the last. Greeted and seated quickly by Charger. Here for breakfast so we got the Rambler Scrambler on a croissant with grits and a sticky bun. This is a really cool restaurant to stop at. Has a great small town diner feel at a car theme restaurant. The menuIs 2 license plates secured with the 3 ring binder. It's a really cool touch. All the weight staff was wearing overalls like there are automechanics. So much memorabilia up on the walls it's hard to know where to even start. The food turned out to be really good as well. I ordered a sandwich and she asked me what kind of fries I wanted. Not understand my choices I chose circle fries. These things are like a big thick potato chip. I've never actually had fries cut up this way I was really good. Why ended up eating all of them right away. The food all has car truck theme names for it too without reading the menu I merely ordered the monster truck sandwich. I should've read the menu cause for some reason I was expected a mile high sandwich cut into the shape of a tire put my expectations are not realistic. All the food was good but the stand outs were the onion rings and the fries. The theme is gas station chic with the license plates on the wall and old signs. This is a really cool diner that's in the middle of a strip mall. It is all out of automotive themed and it reminds me of a tuneup shop. The menu is completely on theme but is serving southern breakfast style and traditional breakfast as well. The food was great and so was the service. Had such a great time here! Our waitress "stingray" was awesome! She was attentive, kind and continued to ask if we needed anything. The food was DELICIOUS! It was all fresh, hot and tasted great. The biscuits were definitely home made & the sausage links were thick and tasty. Everything was great. The ambiance was also very cozy and I loved the theme. They stayed on brand the entire time with the waitresses names being famous cars and the silverware being wrapped up in car rags (clean of course). We will definitely be returning to this Vero Beach gem! One more thing- the magician they had there- David Kelly was AMAZING!!! He came to our table and did some great magic tricks. This is the first place we've had to wait for a table in a long time, so you know it's gotta be good! It was sunny and warm, so the 20-30 minute wait hanging out on a bench outside was ok. I wish we discovered this place earlier. I'm in love with the Eggzadilla, their breakfast quesadilla. Mmmm!!! It's a quesadilla with seasoned scrambled eggs and cheese. I don't eat meat, so had them leave that off, and it's just perfect. So good!!! It doesn't need salt or pepper or anything. And I don't love potatoes, but the home fries that come with it are well seasoned and delicious! The decor is really cute, with a gas station kind of look. Our waitress was "Charger" the two times we were there. The "grease rags" are napkins, lots of road signs and license plates on the walls, and checkerboard tablecloths. Our favorite breakfast/lunch place. We had a power outage last week and decided to go for a nice hot breakfast. "Punch Buggy" was our server. WOW. Great service. We didn't have to ask for anything, "Punch Buggy" knew what we needed, more coffee, butter, jelly, ketchup, more coffee, everything just kept coming... right as needed. My hubby and I both had specials of the day: he had porkchops with home fries, I had the "Silverado" omelet (chicken, spinach and cheese), my mother in law had the French toast. Mrs Macs Fillin Station serves good homemade food. The atmosphere is straight out of American Pickers with memorabilia and old signs as far as the eye can see. I had a Chili Omelette with Grits. The omelette was plentiful and full of flavor. The Grits were creamy and buttery. My wife had the Blueberry Pancakes which were very fluffy. The service was very good and all servers worked well together to provide a pleasant dining experience. Worth noting was that the coffee was particularly good. If you're in the area, stop by. We stopped here on our way out of town and it was definitely worth it. Any time we travel we search online for somewhere to stop for a good meal and we were not disappointed.
