Looking for a quick bite in Vero for breakfast, I did a quick search and didn't see much except for First Watch. When I arrived, it was backed and we were quoted 25 min wait. They offered coffee while we waited which was a nice touch. The time quoted ended up being right on - nice job! I ordered the tri-fecta which is eggs, bacon or sausage, and a pancake or waffle. It was decent but pretty basic but that's honestly my fault for ordering a basic meal. We also got an order of the breakfast cornbread which I was hoping would be moist like a blueberry muffin but it was dry so prob wouldn't order that one again. read more

Time for another update! It's still really nice to come here because of the atmosphere and the outdoor seating. It's a busy place and I've still had a couple of issues over the last month, but mostly it's solvable. We discovered their veggie burger and it's pretty good. It was served with nice greens but you can also substitute those for some other options. Service is usually very good, and the prices are reasonable. read more

One of our go to spots. Food is consistent and great quality. Best coffee in Vero. Christian is our favorite wait staff. He's given us great recommendations and takes such good care of us. Thomas and Barb are wonderful too! One thing we noticed that changed a while back is their artisan toast. It is less thick than it used to be and we thought that's just the lessening that's going on everywhere but we went to a First Watch in Melbourne on New Haven Ave last week and their artisan bread is the serving size we are used to having. I don't always have bread because of the carbs but I make an exception for the First Watch toast. We would love to have the original thickness back. read more

Went for the Chile Chorizo omelette and the Purple Haze. Food was solid. Omelette was filling, potatoes had good crisp, and the Purple Haze is always a fun, refreshing win. No complaints there. Coffee was the letdown today. The brew just didn't taste great, which is disappointing for a breakfast spot. Not bad enough to ruin the meal, but enough to knock it down a notch. Breakfast was excellent. I had one of the monthly specials: beef, potatoes, onions spinach, peppers with two eggs on top. Everything was fresh tasting and delicious. Coffee was good. Server was great; I think her name was Berry. This was my first time at a First Watch. I know they've been around a long time, but there's no location near my home. I'm here in VB on vacation. Came on a Sunday at 9:30 so we expected a wait; "5 minutes" turned into 15 which wasn't bad (I was shocked when they said 5 min so it worked out that time...). Service was a bit slow; again it was their busiest time of the week so not a huge concern. However, the food was pretty "meh", which is the main reason for the 3 stars. They were very stingy with scrambled eggs and overdid the melted cheese to make it seem like more. The regular bacon was basic, but the "million dollar bacon" upgrade to the potatoes was sub-par. Again too much cheese to fill in for the lack of other ingredients. Coffee was good, but hey... it's coffee. Sourdough toast was tasty, as was the multigrain toast. Overall, it was disappointing to pay $65 before tip for three people with these results. I've had a great meal here before, so maybe this was a fluke. read more

As we arrived the hostess greeted us as she opened and held the door for us. We sat on their little outside porch and were promptly greeted by Sean who arrived with a vacuum coffee pot for two. We requested some waters while we reviewed a very well written and mouth watering menu. Shortly, Sean returned with two glasses and a chilled bottles of water for two. He recommended the Farm House Breakfast Tacos, which I had seen on the menu and was considering. His description of the dish sounded great..."and just a little chorizo to give it that extra little bit of flavor" and so I went for it. No regrets, it was delicious, and filling. I was surprised the ratings for this place were not better and when I mentioned this I learned that there were some past management issues that had been cleared up. The food is great. I had the avocado toast the last time I ate there. It was very tastey. I also had the lemon ricotta pancakes at another First Watch in Georgia. They have it on the menu here as well. They were also very good . My only issue with the restaurant is the noise. It seems very loud in there and restless. read more

We really wanted to like this place. We both had two eggs over, home fries, multigrain bread and coffee. The eggs, bread and coffee were excellent. The home fries were EXTREMELY salty. Great decor. Odor of the solution to wipe tables was not appealing for a restaurant. Smelled liked a moldy basement. A more citrusy -fresh scent would complement the ambiance. We sat outside. Female thin waitress with long brown hair was not a positive where as other waitstaff observed fit the place better. Not out going and never checked on us. Family of five, enjoyed a varied and delicious brekkie here. The greeting was welcoming and friendly, the server was excellent ( on his second day on his own) and did everything right. Our meals varied from (plentiful) avocado on toast, humongous pancakes and omelets with tangy strips of bacon. The juices were flavoursome and fresh. For lunch today, I ordered the mixed berry waffle with lavender whipped cream. my seven-year-old granddaughter wanted to share with me and took the waffle on the bottom. We've been to a few locations of First Watch, and they are consistently very good, with fresh, delicious food, and solid service. This time around my wife got the Trailblazer Bowl, which she LOVED, and I got the Trifecta - scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, and a multi-grain pancake. The sausage was OK, eggs great, and the pancake very hearty and tasty. Service was good...we did wait about 30 minutes to get in and get a table on a busy Monday morning at 11:30ish, but they were accuarate with the wait estimate, so that was fine. To my disappointment, first watch has reduced its quality of customer service and food. From our last breakfast this week, our pancakes were cold when served. When asked to change the pancakes, they brought it reheated and it tasted like mush. Our waitress came to our table super fast and our food came out super fast. Fresh and hot. The service was excellent, the coffee was fresh and hot. We enjoyed our excellent breakfast. This was my first visit so I will chalk it up to a bad day. Coffee was great. Our waitress was great. Everyone was friendly and inviting. Don't order the eggs Benedict. The sauce taste was as if it came from a can, not fresh. The eggs were cooked unevenly, the ciabatta bread was very hard and tasted stale. The ham was ok. I put a lot of black pepper on it just to eat part of it. Wasted money! Everything came to the table cold. The fruit cup had a bad grape in it. Went here for breakfast for the first time. Service was excellent and my husband's oatmeal was good. But my omelet left much to be desired. It was thin and cold. Supposed to have avocado in it. 3 small thin slices, barely there. Very disappointing. It was supposed to have sour cream, barely a tablespoon on top of the omelette. This is my first time at any first watch. I used to think first watch was the jewelry store for beginners. After reading many Yelp reviews it seemed delicious photos from Yelp events I decided I really wanted to check this place out. I arrived to work real early one morning, thanks daylight savings. So I drove across the street over to first watch to pick up a breakfast real quick and give them a try . The restaurant is really slow the morning I went in there and I wasn't sure if they were open. I was greeted by a very friendly lady who handed me a menu and let me place you to go order. I was able to pay and check out right up front very easily. I ordered breakfast tacos. They sounded great on paper so I thought I'd give them a try. As I was eating my order I thought how authentic would it be if there was avocado on these breakfast tacos and lo and behold I found some avocados. The shell was the perfect corn shell with crispy edges. The breakfast taco was a little unique as I've never tried one before. the flavors texture really worked well together I only complaints is that I wish there was one extra Taco in there and that would have been a full size meal for a skinny guy like me. I usually judge food quality by a few things. First watch at all points on a visually looking good and smelling good. After eating the food I stayed full for most of the day which lets me know it's either fake heavy food with lots of fake laboratory flavors or you believe like me that a higher quality food provides more nutrients and minerals for your body to absorb therefore you stay full faster as you absorb all the actual food and not that laboratory garbage from your stomach. Nothing negative that I can say whatsoever but I do look forward to returning someday the food was really good the service is really friendly and the restaurant was really clean. read more

This is not my first visit here. Not all First W franchises are the same. This one is ok, could be better. The primary highlight of this visit was the friendly, good service from Tina our Server. Also makes it so much easier to use "Yelp Call Ahead Seating" on the Yelp app or Google. As you can see based on my pics, their Mimosas are good. They serve Barefoot Dry Champagne. Generally the orange juice is crisp with a sweet fresh taste. Todays IT HAD AN ACIDIC TASTE:-(? I ordered the Chorizo Omelette, it was seasoned well. Caramelized onions and pickled jalapeños gave it that extra zing complementing the robust flavor of the chorizo. Glad the Kitchen Staff was generous with the Chorizo. As for the Breakfast Potatoes? I mentioned to Tina they were VERY SALTY:-( She said, seemed the kitchen prep crew had over seasoned these early in the morning. ***Since, they prepare large batches and add a pre-made dry seasoning purchased from ""A Vendor"" I'm not keen on pre-prepped mixed dry seasonings.
