Steak bowl with cilantro rice, pretty good

Stopped in for a few beers which all were good, and complimented dinner very well. I ended up with the rice bowl with the steak and added jalapenos. Actually pretty good.

I have been to AIB several times but this was the first for a gathering up to 20 people. Glad to say that all went well. The server, Wyatt, was attentive and fast. He was friendly and helpful to the large group. He started by sharing the two beers that were not available. Disappointing but understandable. Several appetizers were ordered and they were brought out together. Positive reviews, especially on the naked wings and garlic Parmesan and buffalo sauces. I ordered the Hawaiian poke bowl. It was just okay. Gummy rice and too few chunks of tuna but it was flavorful. The Belgian tripel was very good. Others in the group ordered the bbq ribs (moist and delicious), the steak and rice bowl (excellent) and wraps and burgers. No complaints. Wyatt refreshed drinks and waters as needed. AIB checked the boxes for a large group.

American Icon Brewery We had an amazing pretzel -- warm, soft, perfectly salted -- and the Philly cheesesteak was great too. The IPA was a solid drink, well-balanced and easy to enjoy. The whole experience was elevated by the setting: American Icon Brewery is housed in the gorgeous old Vero Beach Diesel Power Plant, a striking historic brick building originally built in 1926 to power the growing city. It's the oldest municipal building in Vero Beach and is listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The industrial architecture and original features give the space amazing character -- like stepping into a piece of Vero's history while you sip and dine.

Enjoyed a nice lunch at American Brewery. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Skyler was very helpful assisting with our beer choices. All the food was cooked well and very tasty. I especially liked the burnt ends and wings. They have a great outdoor space with seating and a fire pit and the indoor space is nice and roomy with a cool vibe.

Had a great 4th of July weekend visiting several spots in Vero Beach and this brewery took the #1 spot! Food was delicious! The full rack of ribs was thick and falling off the bone good. We were so hungry we didn't take a pic! lol! Enough for 3 people to eat. The pork tacos were also very good and had more meat than tacos in Miami for sure! Beers were tasty and my fav was the Icon Hazy! Happy hour prices are also better than Miami. :) Be sure to download the Inkind app to get $30 off your bill over $90. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Loved this brewery! It's an old diesel power plant so the history behind the building and the generator that is still there is very interesting. Very large building. Loved the 1926 Hefeweizen if you like Hefe's. My boyfriend's an IPA guy and enjoyed the Icon Haze. If you like a good mix, try the Berries N' cream with the Hefe or the Icon haze, both were so good! The buffalo cauliflower was on point. The street corn nachos weren't our favorite, but not bad. They have a great beer and food selection and the staff was very attentive. Also a fun shots menu. Overall great brewery and will be back!

Interesting decor is a leftover from the building stays as a diesel motor factory.

Located right near the railroad tracks in downtown Vero, American icon is known for its location in a former diesel motor factory. The interior reflects us as well. Well, the service was friendly and the beer choices extensive, the food was a bit lackluster. One other consideration is the fact that this brewery is extremely family friendly. That means there are kids running all over the place.

Spacious land, historic, rustic & dog friendly.

American Icon Brewing in Vero Beach is one of those places where the building alone already has your attention. Set in a historic power plant, it keeps the original industrial bones intact--high ceilings, natural light, and history on the walls to remind you this place existed long before craft beer was involved. A real win here is the space. Actual space. Inside, outside, grass you can walk on, air you can breathe. It's refreshing to not be wedged into yet another strip mall where parking is a competitive sport. You can grab a beer, wander a bit, sit outside, or toss a bean bag like it's a casual suggestion rather than an organized event. It weirdly reminded me of Minnesota--in the best way--where places had room to exist without shouting over traffic and neighboring businesses. The vibe is relaxed without trying too hard, the beer is solid, there's a full kitchen, and you can enjoy all of it without feeling rushed or overstimulated. Bonus points for being dog-friendly--bringing Ellie along was a win, and she seemed perfectly content soaking in the scene. Also, as a Harley rider, the "motorcycle parking" sign did not go unnoticed. Small detail, but appreciated. Overall, it's a place that lets you hang out instead of herding you in and out, which feels increasingly rare.

It was time to use my gift certificate from my oldest son so in we went. Greeted and sat quickly upstairs, never had sat there before but liked it. Tim came around before we knew it and we ordered a beer and a vodka, with lemon juice and blue curaçao. Perusing the menu while we waited for our drinks we decided to go with the boneless pork chops with mashed taters and green beans. Didn't have to wait long for our meal and it was delicious! Nance decided we were having dessert so we got the apple cobbler Al a Mode. Great flavor but it was like warm at best. That's why I gave it a 4 star instead of 5. Nice experience and definitely recommend stopping in. Oh and all drinks are half price during their happy hour 4-7!

Great service and decent enough food. The GM came over to let us know why the calamari app was taking a while but when it came out it looked and tasted great. Chicken wrap was tasty, as were the pizzas. The bathroom was odd in that the placement of the mirrors caused you not to be able to see yourself (at least in the ladies room). Overall a nice meal.

Passing through on I 95 and was looking for a cool spot to stop for lunch. So glad we stopped here! Maybe 15min from the interstate-worth it! Good beer-super cool building-delicious lunch! Hubby and I split the Caesar salad and White pizza-plenty of food for us both! Waiter was very good - in and out in under an hour-not bad for a Saturday afternoon!

Stopped in after a long run and this place treated me way better than I deserved…read more I started with a Coastal Crush Blonde Ale, which is basically Florida in a glass. Light, smooth, a touch of pineapple, and dangerously easy to drink. After that I grabbed an Unruly Amber Ale. That one hit me with toasted malt, a little caramel, and enough bite to wake up my taste buds. Solid beer. No notes. For food I went with the Smokey Black Bean panini and wow it surprised me. Smokey, a little spicy, and packed with flavor. The chipotle ranch ties the whole thing together. Plus they give you hummus and chips on the side, so you feel like you're snacking and eating a whole meal at the same time. Win. The vibe here is great. Indoor seating, outdoor seating, people just chilling, dogs hanging out, locals talking like everyone knows everyone. Super easy to relax here. Overall, Pareidolia just gets it. **INITIAL REVIEW**…read more Initially, I found Frazier Creek Brewing and Distilling (which I will shorthand simply to Frazier Creek for the remainder of this review) through my adventuring, specifically the Treasure Coast Wine, Ale & Spirits Trail. Though not the first brewery in Martin County, it is the first "brewstillery" in which it serves as both a brewery and distillery. Wanting to check in at another location on the aforementioned trail, I have to say this place is pretty good, but since I went early afternoon (I work 3rd shift at the time), it isn't exactly the most active place to be at. And to be fair, the same goes for the other brewery I went to at this time (Ocean Republic). Ergo, this initial review will be based on a visit between noontime and 3 p.m. In short, too early to be at a brewery, but the only time I could go because of my working shift. Though an address is provided, Frazier Creek is located in Mayfair Plaza on US-1 (Federal Hwy.). If it helps, it is the business that seems to have a "watchtower" rising up from its entrance like a sentinal. Upon entering, you're greeted to a nice open space that hints this place was probably an extreme sporting goods vendor or business in its past. Why I say that? Because of all the decks on the wall used to highlight Frazier Creek's drink menu. I sat at the bar which was optimally observed by the cute bartender, and I understand why it was minimal as it was, as aforementioned, "too early to be in a brewery" and there were like only one or two more patrons inside besides me. Nevertheless, the bartender was attentive and gave me drinks based on how I was feeling at the time as well as the fact it was still early afternoon. So for me, lighter beers. I would not drink a heavy stout or IPA this "early" in the day. What I did have were three drinks they always have on tap, two alcoholic so I had them in 4 oz. tasters and one that was non-alcoholic so I had a regular 8 oz. glass. Must stress I was hitting up the locales in the Treasure Coast Wine, Spirit & Ale trail in Martin County so I can't get all happy at ONE location, right? I had the Stuart Shandy and Zero Gravity Sour in the 4 oz. tasters. The former had more of the grapefruit flavor over the lemonade flavor, but it was delightfully sour. As for the latter, I enjoyed that one more because I prefer oranges as my citrus of choice. And to "fill in the gap" without having too much alcohol since I would be drinking mead next (Hani Honey Co.), I had their root beer, too. That was good too, but I am more of a cream soda kind of guy, and since sugar is in everything, I have a thing for Olipop, Virgil's, and Poppi flavors. So far, not one brewery has made a sugar free root beer (yet). As for the last part of food and drink, there was no formal food menu I saw, but they did have either a collaboration or something "in house" outside of the actual brewery and distillery was served for food: fish dip. There were two versions I got, and I ate one with Ritz crackers at the bar. Fantastic. Definitely home made and independent given the price point, but I am more than willing to pay to help support it. As for the other dip, it was good too once I opened and finished it back home. On a sidenote, the restrooms - at least the men's restroom - was decently clean and stocked. Nothing out of the norm. Given the fact I showed up during a time I don't expect the full service and experience Frazier Creek has to offer, I can only rate my visit(s) for what they offer at the time I went which is three out of five stars. Now I must stress that is actually not bad as they hit all the main points on serving a customer during a time when they are "down" and "slow." I don't expect them, or any brewery/distillery/meadery/etc. to bend over backwards for me when I show up at 1 p.m. on a weekday. But I will also say that for many places, doing just the basics is a chore during that time, so the fact Frazier Creek did, I applaud you all. Now that I am working a normal schedule, I can truly come by during your peak hours and see what Frazier Creek has to offer. I did see they were preparing for a cornhole tournament when I left, and I would have loved to stay to smash the competition, but a las, responsibilities over pleasure when in the midst of a workweek. If Frazier Creek is consistent with what they provided during the early afternoon, plus whatever they do during their peak hours, I'll definitely update this review.
