Meh. Went here tonight because the Burger King down the road was mostly closed (closed for renovations but the drive through is open). We found some deals on the app, but it turned out we had to do mobile ordering to get it... I'm pretty tech savvy but the deals part was confusing, and it took like 10 minutes to order. (The counter employee had no idea how to use the app either....) Finally got our food, food was fine (grilled chicken sandwich and fries). Apparently the grilled chicken sandwich now comes with vinaigrette, which is kind of weird, but I was able to add honey mustard to it. Restaurant was FREEZING which is why I'm changing my Yelp review from 3 stars to 2. Bathroom was too which = a cold toilet seat. We were the only customers there, also, and the employees were a little loud ... Yeah, it's Saturday night, but we still count as present customers. This is the worst establishment I have ever step foot in. Me and my associates were getting a drink after a long day of hard work at our public education facility. We pulled up to the speaker to order our beverages, we placed our orders, and drove up to the next window to pay. I noticed that the employee was wearing a LGBTQ+ pride necklace, and I complimented her necklace out of respect for the LGBTQ+ community, and their celebration month of June. After paying, we calmly drove to the next window to pick up our drinks. When we received our drinks, this extremely elderly bald man began to yell obscenities and blame us for "bullying their employees", and banned from ever returning to the facility. This is the worst service I have ever received, and we were appalled about how poorly the establishment was ran. This McDonald's is disgusting. I ordered here at 6:10am this morning and one of the items was a medium coffee. I was drinking the coffee and noticed a clump in it. After taking off the lid i noticed a huge fly in it! I always close the sip flap on the coffee so there is no way it flew in the cup after i got it. So nasty! I've never experienced something so disgusting. They need to clean their machine every night and not use the previous day's coffee! read more

Website says 24 hours but went there at 5:50 AM and no one would come to the drive-through to take my order. When I drove off i could see the manager leaning over the countertop between the two windows. On numerous occasions they've gotten my order wrong and they never give straws. Due to the pandemic only drive-through is open. This place has two drive-through lanes but the staff kept serving the other lane. I went to the payment window, and their response is that their policy is to refuse serving anyone on a bike. I Live in Commerce Township and work near Gross Pointe, so I have a long commute. Not a a problem to reheat my food when I get to work. What is a problem is when I order steak and get bacon, time after time. I consider myself a fairly articulate person and even when the mistake is repeated as bacon, I slow it down to make the word STEAK clear. Multiply this by a generous feeling to treat coworkers to a sandwich and now 4 of us are disappointed. Now multiply that by every other time you get the bag to work, and Houston, we have a problem. We all have mercy for the poor souls who are there trying to scratch our a living, but they wouldn't put up with what they dish out. Coworkers are so disappointed they said call back to report the problem, and as would expect in a negative review, no answer. I'd given up on the McDonald's close to my job for the same reasons. What is with fast food in Walled Lake? First Arby's and now McDonald's. Workers, if your mask is in the "chin diaper " position around my food, I won't be back. When I called out the older guy who was pinch-hitting on drive-thru on Sunday, July 26, 2020 about 4:30 pm, he indicated that the plexiglass shield was in place, so no worries about the mask. Not the point at all. You are talking, making drinks and handling food without anything covering your nose or mouth. THAT'S the point. I take it seriously, and if a business doesn't enforce compliance with their food service workers, I won't give them a second chance with my health. I ordered a double quarter pounder with cheese meal(plain), when prompted for size I said large. The young lady on the speaker repeated my order and acknowledged large fries , large coke. I paid at he window. I get to the other window and the man(this loser was older than you would think for working the window) says medium fries and large coke. I said no large. He said well its a medium fry. I gave him the bag back and said make it right, He flipently barked "DID YOU PAY FOR IT?".. I remarked thats what I ordered (thinking to myself...,How the fuck do I know if I paid for it) I paid what they told me to pay. I dont come here every day...ASSHOLE! \ He brings back the bag and says here. I get it home and spread it out the fries were hot which is geat...but they were very salty..i then noticed how much salt was litterally dumped on my order out of spite I am shure. I ate three fucking french frys and threw the reat out They were completely in edible. My recomedation for management is to go back to hiring 16 year olds that arnt pissed off at the world for their own inadeqincies. Get rid of this jerk asap. I've never seen any restaurant that openly filthy in view of the customers. The food was fine but honestly I wanted to cancel my order after seeing the condition of the food area. It doesn't matter what time I go, there is always some nonsense going on and I usually end up leaving. It's a 24 hour drive thru and somehow the only thing available at 9:30pm are drinks? Another time I went there after midnight and the only thing they had were fries and nuggets. I even asked if there was a specific time frame I should avoid because this seriously always happens to me and the woman working the speaker had no idea. Wish I could choose negative stars!! I don't know why I continue to go to this store but last night put me over the edge...I will not be returning!! Service is always terrible, in the drive thru you are barely noticed at either the payment or the food window everything just shoved out the window at you.
