I ordered 2 Filet of Fish sandwiches & was left very disappointed with the condition of the sandwiches. Both of the fish filets were dry, to the point of cardboard ...very little fish flavor with meager tartar sauce on both sandwiches. The buns tasted fresh. However, for $11.43 FOR 2 small fish sandwiches that had either been under the heat lamps too long, or microwaved to death, the meal wasn't worth the money. I doubt I will be back, even though I live in the area. Too expensive for such a mediocre meal! read more

McDonalds is a business that does not change their model from location to location. In some cases, maybe a food addition or hours of operation change but the food remains the same. McDonalds has a business plan that is virtually flawless. Besides the fact that I love all their food, I love that it's prepared quickly and efficiently. The staff I have always encountered has been nothing less than courteous, friendly and attentive-helpful. This location was nothing different. Centrally located off the freeway, it made it an easy stop. This location was a little smaller than I'm used to on Long Island bit that certainly did not slow down the flow of cars through the drive through. Burger and fries were fresh and hot. The location, while small is all windows and very bright. The restaurant was very clean. The person behind the counter greeted me with a big hello and was very pleasant and courteous. These reviews don't change much from location to location and I would not expect it to. Everyone does their job and follows the procedures... This always makes for a pleasurable experience. Terrible. Why are there so many flies in here? They're all over everything. Seriously. Like great big black house flies. Good lord. I was on a motorcycle trip with a bunch of women from Buffalo to Binghamton. We chose this place as our lunch stop. What a mistake. I ordered a sausage biscuit with egg and cheese, and a coffee for my friend, and a Double Quarter Pounder w/ Cheese and added bacon, leaf lettuce, and tomato to it, and a small order of fries for me. When my order number was called there was no sausage biscuit on the tray at all and the DQP looked terrible. The meat was terribly falling apart, the cheese wasn't melted, and the one piece of lettuce was about half the size of the palm of my hand. The fries?? They were burnt AND cold. How does that even happen?? I asked for a manager and took the bun off the DQP and said "Look at this. Are you kidding me?" and he said "Oh I know what happened" and turned around and hollered into the kitchen, "Hey! The grill is eating patties again!" then he turned around and said "We'll remake this for you." Dear God. 10 minutes later I finally got my order, and went to sit down with the group I had come in with, who by the way was already done eating and ready to leave. Ridiculous. read more

The restrooms were filthy. Stuff on the toilet, toilet paper everywhere, smelly. The automatic soap dispenser was a little erratic. Flies were everywhere, including the food service areas. I usually hold rest stop bathrooms to lower standards but not post-COVID. Clean it up. Service at the McDonalds was really slow (line only three deep but there was one person working the drive through and register). Food also didn't taste that great. But the woman behind the counter was friendly and nice. read more

So I ordered two medium coffees with nine sugar, 8 cream French vanilla and I told the drive through to stir them very well because lately in the past few months they have not been stirring it. It's been tasting horrible. so I pay for my coffee in the drive-through I got it and then what I got was a bland sour tasting iced coffee for me and my misses. It tasted horrible like an unearthly taste so then I go back to the front and asked them to remake it they told me they didn't hear me in the drive-through barely but they proceed with the order anyway, if you can't hear people at the drive through clearly why don't you ask them to speak up or repeat what they said or pull forward instead of proceeding with the order only to mess it up to make the customer unsatisfied and unhappy. This is not the first time this happened either. They remade the coffee and it still tasted the same. I asked them to remake it again only to be told that if I want another one I'm gonna have to pay full price. Full price for what to have the same sour bitter nasty taste like the last two I'm good thanks so I just left so unhappy this ruined my whole day worst experience ever Whitney point McDonald's is the worst McDonald's in New York State. read more

This McDonald's is part of the "rest stop" within a convenient store and gas station. This is the first time to see a setup like this. The seating inside are very limited - may be 8-10 seats only. We ordered the chicken nuggets to go and had them on the road after feeding the car with gas as well. The nuggets were okay to eat but tasted "funny". It was not spoiled but they have very greasy and oily texture- unlike the ones I had before. May be they were re-fried!? We had a few and decided to toss them to the garbage as they just tasted awful! Bad experience! read more

We've been to this McDonald's twice on our way north via I-81. Both times have been absolute disasters. :( One of the times we waited more than 20minutes for our order... at a "fast food" restaurant. There were many disgruntled customers, some of whom were so frustrated that they demanded their money back and left. Add to that that it's in a not-so-well-kept travel plaza/gas station and it is just a disaster. read more

The food is covered in grease... the bottom bun on my burger was dropped in grease and given to me! I returned it and got a fresh non soaked burger! The eggs in the bkft sandwiches are never wout shells... crunch crunch crunch.... I ordered 3 big bkft with pancakes and no pancakes....‍ I called and complained "oh you can drive down here and we will give you your pancakes!" I had a horrific experience here, and could never return. It's not my first disappointing visit here but certainly the worst. All I wanted was a coffee and a sandwich. Even though I counted 20 people working it took 15 minutes after ordering and then my sandwich was incorrect. I went back to change it and my sandwich had clearly been made an hour earlier: cold and misshapen. Then, getting in my car, they hadn't properly applied the lid and it all spilled in my seat, burning me and soaking my already inedible food. I swore at that moment never to return to ANY McDonalds. 1. Drivethrough is unusable when busy. Entry signs in the wrong place, and no painted lanes, mean that there is a conflict between people entering where the signs are and people coming from the side road. 2. Inside ordering a mess. Cashiers blocked by people waiting for food. Never have I seen 20 people waiting to pick up food but none waiting to order. Very confusing. 3. Switch to video menus horrible. Not acceptable that menus flash away. Cannot find things. 4. Asked cashier which spicy sauces were an option for nuggets. Was told "this one" as sriracha Mac was held up. Did not inspire belief that that is the only spicy sauce avilable. No other options explained or shown. 5. Cashier told me they do not sell a McPick 2 for $2.50. I find this very hard to believe as every other McDonald's I've ever been in has it, but since the menu dances and has tiny font, unable to read it. 6. Wait for food too long. 7. Take food to eat in car but quickly discover packaging a disaster. Big Mac container has grease on every side. Pieces of onion all over the bottom and fall all over me on removal from bag. Absolutely worst "wrapped" McDouble I've ever seen. Wrapper filthy inside and out, food touching inside of bag. 8. McDoubles inappropriately covered in black pepper. This is against brand standard. 9. McDoubles falling apart. No structural integrity. 10. Worst tasting McDoubles ever tasted. May stop coming to all McDonalds. read more

Great McDonald's location in the small, yet lovely town of Whitney Point, New York. Very ideal location for stopovers on the way to Buffalo/Canada. Small town charm and kindness of employees add to it's overall great rating. Restaurant is part of mini-mart complex with a convenience store built within the restaurant. read more
