I know it was only take-out but what an amazing experience! The online ordering through the restaurant website was really easy and it gave me a coupon for $5 off a purchase of $30. I was shocked at the 45 minute wait time for some chicken wings but, I saw how busy they were when I go there. I loved the atmosphere when I walked in. It was busy at the bar and restaurant but no one was waiting for a seat. That's a great sign. Immediately, I was asked if I had an order. I told the gentleman I could wait but he went back and put a rush on the wings. Within 10 minutes I had the wings, and an apology for how long it took. Although, it was well before my 45 minute pick up time. The parking lot is a bit cramped but there's not much room to expand. Besides, they have been there since I was a kid. The wings were so good. They came with blue cheese, celery, and carrots. Overall, this place is well above 5 stars. I can't wait to dine in and visit the bar side. we had a very nice waiter, but I wasn't mad about the food. It's good enough for where it is I suppose, but the dish I ordered had so much sauce on it that it was just sickening. The shrimp were obviously frozen because they were hard, the dish came cold, and I had to send it back to be made hot. I came by Aiello's when returning from a trip from upstate NY. I have to say that it was a perfect restaraunt stop. Upon arrival, I noticed the restaraunt was full with locals. To me, this is a great sign that this is a great restaraunt as locals don't go to bad restaurants. Service was very quick and we waited no more than 5 minutes for appetizers. We did need to wait for a bit longer for our main courses but it wasn't bad. I also really liked how waiters were always coming around and taking plates off the table as they became empty. The menu here is very accommodating and serves gluten free meals. There is also a wide variety of food available (pizza, pasta, fish, variety of meat, etc.). For the appetizers, I really liked the burrata and lobster bisque. The portions for the soup could be better, however. For the main courses, I had the veal parmesan. My son had the gluten free pasta. Both were very filling and delicious! Finally, the value here is 5/5. It is high quality food for a decent price. I had a great meal here that filled me up for another 4 hours for my ride home! Had high hopes for Aiello's based on most reviews. Our party of 4 had a reservation and were seated at a four top next to the kitchen and across from the bathrooms. Both doors opened and closed repeatedly and squeaked as if no one ever oiled the hinges ever. We asked to move and the restaurant did move us to a more decent location. Drink orders were placed - house Chianti is pretty flavorless but no one's fault I guess. We asked for bread and were told it was baking. Received our salads. Pretty bland general house salads- wrong dressing on one. Asked for bread again- still baking. Received a faulty decent fried calamari app- still no bread. The. The entrees came out. At this point not having been brought bread was just beyond ridiculous and the server said, when asked again... " oh let me get your bread" My dish was the Sicilian eggplant parm, thinking I should order a signature dish to see what makes this place special. Salt. Salt is what makes this place special. Absolutely inedible and when the server took our plates the fact that my dish was untouched should've led to follow up from the server. It didn't. My partner's prime rib was mostly fat. I'd driven past this place so many times and finally got an opportunity to visit - I had called ahead only an hour for a Friday evening reservation and was surprised that they had tables open. Firstly, the food. I got a pasta dish that had an option for shrimp or scallops (with the scallops being quite a bit more expensive). I ended up receiving the scallops by mistake, and after some discussing with my server, they did end up giving me the shrimp price. However, I'm a little surprised that it took so long for them to comp me given that it was the server's mistake. With regards to the food itself, however, it was tasty and the portions were large. The bread that they provide is also tasty. One thing that I found to be troubling was how long the food took to take out- exceeding 30 minutes. We were hungry so that wasn't fun. Went there last night with my family for my graduation dinner. We absolutely LOVED our waitress Crystal. Not only did she give us amazing service but she is absolutely hilarious. I had never been here before but had always heard good things and now I see why. My food was absolutely perfect and there were hardly any complaints from my family aswell! my drinks were super yummy and the creme brulee was absolutely delicious. i also just loved the ambiance of the restaurant. its super cozy and intimate while also being more fine dining compared to a lot of other restaurants in Binghamton. It's ok. The food was edible but not great. I got the vodka sauce. It tasted about as good as jarred vodka sauce. My sister ordered a gin and tonic with lime.... It didn't come with a lime... my brother in law reminded the waitress for the lime... the waitress mentioned three times "oh yeah you need your lime" and we never got the lime. The room smells musty, the design is dated, and you hear the plastic covered ceiling blowing in the AC nonstop. The cheesecake and the fried mozzarella was at least good. I was really excited to try Aiello's and was disappointed. we were seated in the bar. our table wasn't even clean when we sat down. they were cleaning it while we sat there. it was very loud. we waited over an hour for our food and others that sat down after us got their food first. our waiter was very inattentive. didn't offer us water, didn't take our empty plates from the appetizers. my husband got the prime rib the seasoning wasn't good and it was a lot of fat for $44. the waiter said he would bring bread with our salad that never happened and my husband asked for no sour cream and the waiter brought it out anyway. We stopped in for lunch at 1pm on a Saturday. (2 adults and 2 teenagers) The food was nothing impressive, bland and basic. Clearly could tell it was frozen and they threw it into a microwave and sauce from a jar. The salads were from a bag and most of the lettuce was brown. The waitress, was nice but couldn't get it together. Dropping stuff, brought the wrong drinks, said she'd bring lemon for a seafood dish, never got it. My kids ate with the pasta spoon because we never saw the waitress after getting the food until she was in our face to pay the bill. A Friday evening outing with our daughter and son-in-law at their favorite Italian Restaurant, seemed appropriate. It was a 6 pm reservation, and we were immediately seated in their large dining room. The waitstaff were polite, efficient, and very competitent. Our every wish was taken care of immediately, though the place was packed. Our food came perfectly suited to each of our tastes. I had Chicken Marsala, Meg had Linguine with clams and white wine sauce. Squisito! Our dinner companions enjoyed a marvelous fish dinner and Chicken Parmesian respectively, and proclaimed both perfect. I was the only one to have a dessert. I was stuffed after the meal so I took 2 of their amazing Canolis home. You must have dessert at Aiello's, because everything on their list is made there and is delicious. (It's a restraunt I have freuently frequented, so I speak from experience.) The cocktails exceeded everyone's expectations, by the way. I definitely recommend Aiello's.
