Listen folks, it's a McDonald's so tamper my expeditions to more realistic levels. I've lived in the area and admittedly have never ate here in 3 years. Some how I was convinced to try the new snack wraps as a late bite. The food was just fine, came warm (not hot) in a decent amount of time. I order myself on a large screen that at times was familiar and confusing at the same time. The restaurant is new, fairly clean and was busy with tourist, locals and teens from the near-by Urban Air. I don't know why I was craving McDonald's and I wanted to get some nuggets and fresh fries. I ordered on the app which was convenient, but when I pulled up they told me to pull over to the side. Which I thought oo they're making it nice and fresh. When I got the bag my fries were so soggy, and I was very disappointed so I went inside. This is where you guys recovered the manager was right there when I walked in I told them about my situation, and she said there are fresh fries down right now if I wanted to wait. Once they came up she handed me a fresh fry which was very much appreciated!!!! But imagine I drove all the way home and the disappointment. My first job was McDonald's and I was always taught don't put out things you wouldn't want to eat. So more care of things going out would be appreciated and go a long way!! read more

If I'm not being double charged, I can almost guarantee I'll receive my food double fried, cold, or not prepared with the options I asked for. Something will be missing or the fries might be under fried or over fried. Cheese is on my burger when I asked for none and today, I ordered black coffee with sugar (only) and received cream with a splash of coffee and zero sugar! What exactly am I supposed to do with that? It's carelessness at this point. Why give us options if you're not ever going to follow instructions. It's not like the food is cheap. Can I get what I paid for?? This has to be the worst McDonald's I have been to. Unfortunately this is the only one located in our area, the Hamlin area has grown so fast that restaurants can't seem to keep up with the demand. However since the beginning this has been a poor McDonald's. I try not to go here very often mostly because of the service and the food you receive, but sometimes I do have to go. The last time I went I was in the middle of lunch. Waited in line for about 20 minutes. I did have a code from the app which would have given me a discount. I ordered food, and when I got to the window I had to repeat my order twice. Both times saying I had a coupon code. The girl at the window very rudely, yeah I have it. She did not have it as I did not get my discount. Whatever not the end of the world but in today's prices with everything going up it is nice to have a little discount. When I got to the pick up window I had to repeat my order again a few times, and then was asked to prove I had actually paid so I had to show my receipt. He proceeded to argue with another employee about my order. He threw the drink at me almost spilling it on me since the lid was not on. I had to wait about five minutes for my sandwich, and I figured I better check it. As expected it was wrong. I asked for some extra ketchup since part of the missing order was the ketchup. He handed me no joke one packet of ketchup. Before I could ask for more I literally had the window slammed in my face. At this point I was mad. Knocked on the window he finally opened it and I asked for some more. He handed me one more packet. I truly don't understand what is wrong with this location. Whoever is in charge must have zero customer service skills. They seem to be out of things all the time. One morning the only thing we could order was drinks and hashbrowns nothing else. Whoever runs this location clearly needs training or needs to step aside and they need to get someone in here that can handle customer service. Seeing other peoples reviews I am clearly not the only one that feels this way, and it is truly a shame because it is in a good location, it's very nice inside but the service is horrible. The inside does not have fountain drink machines, so you also cannot get a refill if you eat inside. I come to this McDonald's ~fairly often~ and have never had a problem. Comparatively to other McDonald's, the employees are courteous and food comes out relatively quickly. Usually I order on the app as it makes transactions in the drive-thru move rather smoothly. I've never had an issue with my orders and any time I've gone inside, the interior is clean with a good amount of people dining in. Service here has been dropping to unacceptable levels in recent months. They often turn off mobile ordering, or close the second drive thru lane while people are already in the line - forcing you to back up and fight to get into the other line... the employees are rude. I'm be waited at the drive through speaker for more than 20 minutes and had nobody take my order and I've started to wonder if anyone ever will. Service used to be reasonable, but since the beginning of 2023 it's gone downhill fast. read more

Shittiest McDonald's I've been to in my life. A bunch of horizon West highschoolers that can't make a hamburger to save their life. I ordered a number seven and my burger came mashed as shit and had a line through the middle of the top bun. My fries were cold And I did not enjoy any of my food. Someone needs to check up on the cook back there because I don't know if their GPA is above a 2.0 or not. Stop hiring high schoolers to come work at McDonald's if they can't make a single thing right. At least they got the sweet-and-sour sauce. So happy to see a new addition to this area. This McDonald's was built in record time (from a customer's perspective). The parking is spacious, not too tight. It could be a little friendlier to pedestrians. This area is really nice to walk around. Although they have two drive through windows, the demand is high and the wait could be a little long. Aesthetically this restaurant is really modern and clean. Since they just opened, social distancing is enforced. You can dine in, every other table is open to sit and dine. Food was so fresh and hot. I know standards can't be too high when looking at a fast food chain like McDonald's, but wow this one was not at all impressive. This is a newer location so the decor was on point. There is even outdoor seating which is nice. The staff inside though looks like they all attend the high school down the street. We ordered at the kiosk because no one was behind the counter. The kiosk didn't end up having any of the numbers for your order so I went up front to ask for one of the numbers from the stack behind the counter. The two workers were confused. One said they would be right with me and headed back to food area and the other shrugged and said he was new. After what felt like multiple explanations and pointing at the number I was allowed to take it and complete ordering my order. How frustrating. We came inside because the drive through line was ridic! I probably would return if craving McDonald's, but don't expect stellar service. Nuggets were fine. Fries were stale. read more

I have been going to McDonald's for over 30 years now and this was the worst experience ever. First I get to the one of the two drive through entrances and was asked to wait. While waiting, another car pulled up in the other entrance and their order was taken. When I questioned it there was a pause then someone took my order. After I paid and drove out my Don told me I was missing a sandwich. I went back through the line and was provided with my replacement. Ordered at the drive thru. One of the things I ordered was a buy one get one chicken nuggets. She asked me : so one chicken nuggets and one cheeseburger. I said no, 2x chicken nuggets. Drove to the first window to pay and I asked : 2x chicken nuggets no burger right ?! She said oh let me correct it. Picked up my food at the next window and drove home. At home I realized that they put 1 chicken nuggets in and a burger. Drove back to McDonald's and told them that I drove home to realize my order is wrong. If this McDonald's could get a ZERO... it would make the review more accurate. It's not always the employees that are the issue, but it's definitely the manager. We know several teens that have worked there and had nothing positive to say because the management treats the employees poorly unless they are the chosen ones. In fact, some have left that location to go work for other McDonald's. The way management treats the employees leads to the poor service everyone gets at this restaurant. I have personally seen one of the female managers screaming at the employees and cussing at them. Every time I have been there the wait to just order is anywhere from 10-20 minutes, and after you order the wait can be another 5-15 minutes. I have chosen to drive to the McDonald's on Disney property to get food knowing it would be considerably faster even with out of town tourists. read more

I went to the restroom to come out and find out a worker mixed my drink (sprite) with my mcflurry. I continued to request a new drink and the workers would not provide one, therefore i called the store and the manager had to come out and say "make him another one im done with this sh** i don't care" and then after I received the worker made a snarky remark saying "try not to mix your own drink next time". "Fast" food is a misnomer at this McDonald's. I've tried every ordering option they have (drive through, curbside pickup, pick up in store) and I rarely leave with my food in less than 25 minutes. The food is your typical McDonald's quality and the workers offer typical McDonald's customer service. They must be understaffed. read more

I placed an order on the mobile app to pick up in the restaurant. the dining room was closed so I had to go through the drive-thru. I waited in the the line, there was no one at the speaker so I had to wait longer and in the end I didn't even get my food because I got tired of waiting. If you're looking for a quick bite at any time of day, this McDonald's is NOT your place. Regardless of the time of day, the drive-thru line is backed up and moves at a snails pace. When we moved here in June, we were amazed at what a great MCD this was! It was probably one of the most efficient and friendly locations we have ever visited-- the drive through was fast and our order was always correct. Fast forward to now and it's like a completely different place-- slow, not friendly, and the orders are never accurate. I don't understand how a busy place like this can have cold soggy fries no matter what time you go there..... someone needs to look back and see what has changed internally at this location, because it's obvious something has. As an update, like I expected, no response. This McDonald's obviously ranks customer service pretty low.

Most of the time I come here I end up having an issue whether it's with the mobile app or with my actual order. Most of the time the mobile app won't let you pick up the order through the drive-thru so you have to do curb-side or pick-up in the store which takes longer for the order to be ready or other times the app won't send the order to the restaurant so you have to reorder. There have also been times when I have had food be incorrect wither its something that I ordered to be taken off of the item or items missing entirely from the bag. read more

More than anything I wish I could recommend this McDonalds location but even after more than a year of trying to fix their issues, little if anything has been done. Orders are rarely correct (be extra careful when ordered any fried chicken sandwich because they will inevitably forget to put it in the bag) and when you try to tell the management you have a missing item they ignore you or act like you are a criminal. The franchise needs a redo with new management and a PR boost to the neighbors who have been shafted by poor service. read more
