Ordered two sausage biscuits on the app to go as we traveled from Reno to Vegas. Got notification order was ready and grabbed it and hit the road. Both sausage biscuits were Luke warm and clearly sat longer than they should have. Biscuits were slightly hard...old maybe and sausage tasted old. We always stop here..but those days are over... Paying the price today ....clearly the only thing I could have eaten yesterday that would make me sick. Sad! This McDonald's location has always been the slowest fast food restaurant I've been to. The food is almost always just barely warm. Your order is either wrong entirely, example: you order three cheese burgers two of them you asked for NO pickles but ALL THREE have NO pickles. Or I've been given someone else's order. As most customers do I would assume, is they keep on going because most people are in drive thru so they get it QUICK and go. And the sweet tea! Anytime I've ordered it, it is either not sweet (which I don't mind) or it tastes nasty like they need to clean our their tea dispenser or something! And by the way you don't stick NEW EMPLOYEES on drive thru!! I would know this because I have worked at McDonald's twice before in my lifetime. IT'S NOT THAT HARD PEOPLE!!! And this part of my complaint applies to both this McDonald's location and McDonald's corporation overall. This morning 10/06/2025 I go through drive through and ordered a bacon cheese mcgriddle meal with a medium iced coffee. I get it and the drink, I'm like damn that's small I thought I ordered a medium. I look and see the yellow square with S fountain, teas, iced coffee and then it had the order sticker on it. I'm like what the heck I thought I said medium? So I park and go inside and was approached right away by Cecelia, which was nice, I just asked her confused "I thought I ordered a medium, this is small?" INSTANTLY I get attitude and she peels back the sticker and points at the white box with the M. I'm complaining because there was no reason to be so rude right off the bat, customer service no?? And also complaining in general because what the heck with the cup sizes? Why does it matter what type of drink you put in the cup they all measure the same! Waste of money. read more

I don't even think that McDonald's here in Yerington deserves one star. My husband is very upset with McDonald's. His order has been wrong on multiple occasions and every time he has gone in to let them know that his order is incorrect, almost always he has gotten a reply with rudeness. No customer service these days? Today was the final strike. I am no longer going to be a customer for McDonald's here in Yerington. After waiting about 25 minutes in the Drive-Thru with my crying 3-month-old is understandable when times get busy and behind. What is not understandable is my raw meat in my cheeseburger. When I got home and I was halfway through my cheeseburger I realized that the taste I was tasting was not the bacon, it was the raw meat patty. I am a breastfeeding mother and what I eat affects my child as well, so not only am I going to have to deal with the issues of eating raw meat but now so is my child. 12/6/2025 1326 hours. I Dbl Qtr w/ Cheese. My Qtr was warm but tasted like it had been under the lamp for hours. Not kidding. Tasted old. The fries were no different. Warm, but stale. No taste. Just like the Qtr. I ordered 2 Big Macs. Mom said it tasted old. The service was less than stellar for McD's, Yerington, Nv. It's a small town and ppl who are driving and reside here expect the best. McDonald's is not cheap enough to be this bad. Had to show the window guy the receipt he just handed me to get all the burgers I paid for. No syrup or sweetner of any kind in the iced coffee, just plain coffee and cream. Also, I cannot stress how DRY these burger patties were. They were shrunken. Just throw 40 or 50 bucks out the window as you drive by. At least save some time. read more

We use the order app frequently. It's supposed to be faster and more accurate. Our orders are almost always wrong and take forever to be ready. absolutely fed up with this store! How would you feel to get off work, go get some food for your family and then get home to find out that your order is completely messed up. The last 3 times in a row. whoever is in the kitchen or on the register that cannot comprehend how to make a Big Mac with no mac sauce, sub mustard and ketchup with no onions is ridiculous. I've had it made correctly 1 time. once they gave me mac sauce, ketchup, and mustard. like that is disgusting!!! Definitely not what I paid for. Maybe I'm dumb for keep on going back. No complaints. Making a late afternoon drive from Reno to Beatty we didn't really have time to stop for food before leaving, but we remembered this McDonalds standing out like a beacon on the highway on our first trip through the area. Pulled into the parking lot, made a mobile order, and grabbed a spot. A friendly employee soon brought our food out to us and we thanked him and headed on our way. Our order was hot and complete. A nice quick stop on our journey. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area and are hungry. read more

Obviously chris kassity could care less about the yerington store as it is in a rural area and the people passing by don't know anything about this business. All towns people have stopped going. And more than ever this yerington mcdonalds makes sure that Chris kassity only sees good reviews because the employees are able to use the same receipt you use for mcdonalds voices as their own. Employees get 15 dollars everytime they make a voice. pretending to be the customer. I'll admit, I'm not the biggest fan of McDonalds. The food is hit & miss and the customer service is usually the same or worse. This location, in particular, USED to be in that category. Service was slow, employees were usually not friendly, food would be missing from your bag, etc. I'm happy to report that many of those issues, at least in my experiences, have been corrected. The last 4-5 times my wife and I have been here the customer service has been stellar, everything we ordered was in the bag, and the quality of the food has been consistent. I'm also happy to see them taking steps forward with improving contactless payment. Before, you would go to use your phone for Apple Pay and the employee would grab your phone to hold it up to the reader. Pretty pointless to use that payment method if the employee has to grab your phone right? Now, they hold the reader out the window so you can use your phone or watch for Apple (or Samsung) pay or to pay with your debit/credit card. Making it 100% contactless. While there's still room for improvement (the mobile order feature on the app needs to be looked at), I feel this location has made a lot of strides in the last few months to improve the customer experience and deserve a mention here on Yelp. I'm cautiously optimistic that it'll stick and I can raise this review to 4 stars in the future. read more

They only had one employee working how sad. there was a long line in the drive through and all mobile order spaces were full and she even had people inside. very disappointed to see a management team do this to their employees. Ordered a chicken sandwich meal and luckily noticed the bread was moldy in three places before taking a bite. Took it back in to replace it and cashier tried charging me for a new sandwich. I had to tell her multiple times I didn't want another sandwich, but just some nuggets instead. No apologies offered and terrible customer service. I know if there was something wrong with food at a sit down restaurant they would offer money back or something complimentary just to show good customer service and keep customers coming back. Stopped at 6:30 am. No one was at the counter to greet us. Waited 3-5 min before I saw anyone. Ordered my food and went to the restroom while waiting for my food. There was no toilet paper or seat covers. I asked the same gal if she could get toilet paper. She did but was not very happy about it. When I was younger closing crew made sure the place was clean and ready for the next day. I don't know how they do it at this McDonalds but whether it is opening or closing crew they are not doing it. I would have given just one star BUT the only reason I raised it is because a young lady named Jackie was classy enough to apologize for giving me lukewarm coffee. I know she tried to pass it off for hot coffee but when I immediately brought it back, she apologized twice for giving me warm coffee. She said she can make me a fresh pot but it would take about 4.5 minutes and since they were about to close and she was still extremely busy I passed. She gave me an iced coffee- not want my stomach needed but I accepted. It's fine. Service is beyond slow for a quick service restaurant and while the staff is friendly, it doesn't make up for the lengthy wait every time. The app offers limited deals in comparison to other locations and our meal is always missing something requiring us to search through our bag(s) so we can make sure to ask for it before we can leave. I cannot believe I am writing a review for McDonalds! This is in my little hometown and Most of the pluses are because I live here and I know most of the people who work here. Most of the kids I have had in school so they better treat me right! I usually only go to McDonalds once a year to remind myself why I don't eat fast food. I have been coming to my hometown place because they have free WiFi. For a town like Yerington, that is a big deal. So, for the price of a cup of coffee, and maybe an order of chocolate chip cookies, I can sit in relative comfort and Internet away to my little heart's content. In the past, this was not always as clean as it should be, but the current management seems to be doing a better job on keeping up with it. As soon as there is a lull in customers someone is out wiping down the tables and moping the floor. The food is McDonalds food. I really do NOT come here for a fine culinary experience. The coffee is OK - both the regular and the fancy drinks. Starbucks has nothing to worry about. As I mentioned before the chocolate cookies are great, but at eight zillion calories, I try not to indulge too often. For folks coming through on the way to somewhere else: if you need something quick and expected, then it will serve you well. You can even stop and sit and check your email. read more

Granted, we got to this McDonald's after a long road trip, so were a bit tired. We used the self service menu to order. Fine. It directed me to take a number and put it on our table after I paid. Check. I assumed they would bring the food to our table or call our number. Nope. We waited at our table, then my husband noticed our order sitting on the counter. Nobody called our number or said anything. The cups were left on the counter where we could barely see them, rather than on the tray. Food was mediocre. While we were waiting for our food, a gentleman near us in the dining area was speaking quite loudly on his phone, about some repairs, I thought he was a plumber talking to his office or something. My husband told me it was actually the restaurant manager, talking to someone about the broken ice cream machine. Did he have to talk, loudly in the middle of the dining area? Not the place to go if you want to receive your order in less than 30 minutes. We ordered 2 salads and an artisan grilled chicken sandwich. After 25 minutes I inquired about our order and was told it wasn't up yet. Finally when we got our order they gave us a McChicken sandwich instead of the grilled sandwich, but because of the long wait we left without asking for a new sandwich.
