I love this spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Not only is the location super cool in that if you know the area you know there aren't a lot of options here. It's right off the road and has a nice lake view if you sit out front.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The whole location is just pretty sweet.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food however is what I usually focus on and the food is good. My husband has been raving about this place for a while and I had my first taste. I got the bacon cheeseburger and it was 9/10 for me. Everything was fresh and delicious. The bun was perfection. They even had delicious pickles on the side, my only complaint was that there was not more pickles! The fries are also very good. I opted for a chocolate shake which was quite good but the kicker is it was loaded and I mean loaded with chocolate shavings. Reminded me of the consistency of boba tea. Almost every sip had a chocoate shaving in it, I loved it! Someone checked on us to ensure all was ok. The staff were super friendly and there is even some cool bighorn swag inside. I was so hungry I forgot to take pics of the food and it was around very long. Worth the stop anytime you pass through!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What an amazing place to eat with a view of the lake and sightings of Big Horn Sheep![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] All food items are great from burgers with traditional and unique Asian flavors and spins on plate meal combos. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service is always fantastic and the setting and decor continue to improve every time we visit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Absolute the only place to eat really good food in a comfortable setting and friendly folks![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Can't wait for the bungalow to be finished to enhance outdoor dining![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Pulled into this place COMPLETELY on accident!! I'm a sucker for customer service and cooking techniques outside of quality ingredients!! So let's get started!! First impressions: adorable place in the middle of nowhere, we stopped to grab waters and use the restroom and take pics of the lake. So glad we did. Customer service: I care more about customer service than I do anything else. We grabbed drinks were checking out and were roped into lunch with the boast and bragging rights of one of the top three restaurants in Nevada. We'll challenge accepted buddy! After friendly conversation and recommendations of the top two items and drinks we ordered. Time waited: Less than ten minutes for our order. Order: Yuzu Italian soda, blueberry & lavender lemonade Italian soda the Chicken sandwich, and Korean rice bowl. Italian sodas were made with quality syrups and products. The were very well flavored, and quite refreshing. Korean rice bowl was served with rice, meat, lettuce, and a red sauce. I love when rice has the perfect bite and chewy texture and this did! It is also important to me that each grain stands on its own and isn't mushed together. This rice was cooked perfectly. The sauce was touted as spicy, I'm used to habanero and it was a slight tickle but had great flavor. How hot something is doesn't matter when tangy, zesty flavor is present. The meat has a tender feel to it and the fat was still evident which I love on this cut of pork. As you see in all my reviews I'm a salt person and that would be my only complaint if I had to complain but I don't.. and it's my preference! Daughters loved this dish! The chicken burger was on a toasted bun which I love for added texture. Let's talk technique here which I'm a huge fan of.. I HATE ordering chicken sandwiches because they are almost always over cooked!! The owner stated his was a chef and I gave him the option to choose my meal and here we are. The chicken was cooked to PERFECTION!!! It was succulent, silky and juicy, so much so that I dropped the sandwich tore it apart just to take a pic! I love when people boast and brag and they have the ability to DELIVER on that promise!! I also can't stand a dry sandwich and there was enough sauce to get messy, and have it all over your face!! They had a great selection of roadside snacks in store and PROTEIN SHAKES WHICH I REALLLLLLLLY value!! The restrooms were clean and the entire store was stocked and organized!! Would we return: THIS PLACE IS GOING TO BE MY COCAINE WHEN IM BACK IN THE AREA... LOVE THE OWNERS SENSE OF HUMOR!! And the view is fabulous.. I love that the owner is looking to improve and enhance the area, provide great quality food and drinks, and is knowledgeable about the area and the impact of the environment!

My husband's order. I forgot what was this, but it tasted so good too!

I am so glad to find a decent and good restaurant in Walker Lake, which is also right across my husband's apartment! I may say, this is the only decent place to grab a bite when you passes by Walker Lake. They also have convenient store for truckers and tourists looking for stop-over. I ordered its Japanese salmon bowl and it was the best grilled salmon I have tasted by far! Even when I'm talking about it, feels like my mouth is salivating and craving for the grilled, peppery, sweet with a touch of Sesame oil salmon! The salmon was paired with rice and salad, and the dressing for the salad is so Japanice! For drinks, I tried its Italian soda --- it was flavored with real raspberry and rose petals. Drinking it was so refreshing in the palate. The whole place was very clean, minimalist, and bright. They have patio-seating too, and you may catch or see a group of prong-horns on the horizon while eating, if you're lucky. The owner, Tony, was very friendly. He took time to talk to his customers and make friends. Their coffee too tasted really good, you guys need to try! When you are having a road trip, and you are looking for a stop-over, Bighorn Crossing is the place to go!

Stop!! Definitely worth it!! Try the Belgian chocolate shake and the Korean spicy pork nachos!! Yum on both. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Saw mountain sheep right on the side of the mountain there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Talk to Tony the owner. Compelling story of why he's there and what is happening to that formerly beautiful Walker Lake.

We were driving and found this nice place for a dinner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's definitely a prime location to view the beautiful Walker Lake, we had an incredible dinner outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So nice and relaxing! The food is amazing, great quality and delicious. Tony the owner is very welcoming and caring. He has an amazing mission to accomplish is to Save the Walker Lake and he puts lots of effort into this activating local community! So inspiring! GLAD WE FINALLY STOPPED HERE!!! Don't pass this place up if your hungry and wanting a delicious burger. We ordered the bacon cheeseburger and the Seoul burger, and they were off the chart! It said 8 Oz beef patty, but honestly, they seemed heftier than that. Loaded up with all the goodies, and cooked to perfection. The burgers came with a fresh and crispy salad too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is extremely clean and the staff very friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We have driven this route for 3 years, and we finally decided to give it a try. WOW!!! Too bad we procrastinated all this time.

What an awesome place for lunch on our way back to Vegas from North Tahoe! Who would have thought there would be a yummy place to eat in this teeny town! Staff were friendly, place was clean, and food was delicious! We had the Japanese Rice Bowl and the Seoul Burger. We especially liked the Seoul Burger! Waaaay better than fast food! Definitely plan to stop here again when we travel through.

They also have two pretty cool metal sculptures in front of the business next to US 95
    Hans A.

What a surprise to find a restaurant out here in rural Nevada alongside US95 across from Walker Lake that has such incredible food. I only wish they were a little closer but then again it's nice to go for a motorcycle ride and patronize this great place. Definitely will be back again.

We got the ksauce and honey butter. The honey butter dry seasoning is out of this world. The ksauce was spicy yet sweet, can definitely taste the nuttiest from the peanut. Definitely would recommend the pickled radish on the side to cut the richness from the wings.

Immediately when we walked up the cashier, which was a young lady, at the front was not welcoming and didn't greet us, she was very dismissive, making us sound dumb for paying with cash because they didn't have enough change in their drawer. I had a party of 6 placing orders, and 4 of us were able to get our orders taken but the last 2 in our group, also under the age of 14, were denied service because they were closing for lunch, which seemed extremely unprofessional because the cashier upfront also knew that we came in as a group because there were no other people taking orders, but us. We were confused and frustrated because they have a sliding door so there was no signage that they were closing at 3 until they slid the door to close the shop. If we knew, we wouldn't have placed orders. They close at 3 and reopen at 4 for their lunch, but I just wish the cashier would've at least gave us a notice because we didn't have the time to wait another hour to just place an order for the rest of our party. I went in asking for a refund so we can get food elsewhere that will cater to our whole party of 6 because it felt wrong to just eat in front of the other 2 people in our group. I was denied a refund by the cashier because they already "started making our order" is what she said. I still requested to have a refund made and she rolled her eyes and went to the back to grab her manager, and to compensate the manager said they would add an extra $1 sauce, or a $3 drink.. Our order itself was $48 and the others, $54 so that just didn't seem to fix the problem that we had. Since we were denied a refund, we just agreed on them adding a bit more things into our order. They added an extra side of mozzarella sticks which we didn't order, which kind of compensated... We ended up just sharing each other's order with the other two that didn't get an order placed.. we were still hungry after that and had to get food still elsewhere. The manager also tried to clear up the problem by just laughing it off and said something along the lines of "we good amigo?" (we had a spanish speaking person in our group) once they walked to the back room for lunch. It also rubbed us the wrong way because it was very dismissive and made it seem like our problem wasn't a big deal. So overall, the food was good.. the service was just horrible. I understand the need to take a lunch break because they deserve one, but it was just the bad service, bad compensation, and the cashier at the front not giving us a notice, and overall being rude.

One thing we noticed right away was that the bonchon was already set on the tables before guests arrived. It wasn't a large spread--just a small tin of cheese corn and a divided tray with kimchi, bean sprouts, and fish cake--not sure how long they were left out and did look and taste dry. The servers seemed to work well together. Different team members checked on us, cleared dishes, served food, and helped other's tables. Once it got busier, they also used robot servers to help deliver food. We started with the salad with house dressing and the popcorn chicken. Both were good, and the chicken was nice and moist. For the BBQ, we ordered the Chardol, Ju Mul Luck, Hawaiian Steak, Tri-Tip Bulgogi, and Galbi (short ribs). Having eaten at quite a few Korean BBQ restaurants in Las Vegas, we noticed the portions here were a bit smaller. They also limit each round to three appetizers and four meat selections. Overall, the service was good, and we especially appreciated Eurie for being friendly and attentive. The only thing that concerned us was when another server changed our grill. Instead of lightly drizzling oil onto the grill, she forcefully squeezed the bottle, causing the oil to shoot out onto grill. It seemed like an unnecessary safety risk for both guests and employees. Our favorites were definitely the Tri-Tip Bulgogi and the Galbi. Both were flavorful and tender. The Chardol was good, but the slices were very thin and the portion felt a little small. The restaurant filled up quickly between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m., so it's clearly a popular spot. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and would come back for the Tri-Tip Bulgogi, Galbi, and the teamwork displayed by the staff.

As someone who occasionally likes to eat alone, I really appreciate that. I've visited several times over the years, including recently under the newer ownership. Unfortunately, some of my old favorites aren't quite the same. I used to love their deep-fried oysters, which are no longer on the menu and have been replaced with deep-fried mussels. The kimchi stew recipe also seems to have changed and wasn't as memorable as before. That said, they still serve my favorite gopchang (beef small intestine). When cooked properly, it gets wonderfully crispy and reminds me of Mexican tripas tacos--definitely worth ordering. I'd personally skip the bibimbap appetizer. The rice was hard, the ground beef was cold, and it felt like it relied too heavily on the gochujang sauce for flavor. Even with those changes, I'll continue supporting this business. Service was also attentive.
