Went through the drive-through at dinner time. I am convinced the staff had a bet going. I think the bet was to see who could say the least number of words to their customers. When I pulled up to pay the person at the drive-through opened the door and said I handed them my money and the only words I got were $.13 is your change. I said thank you. They said nothing. Then I drove up to the next window where the woman at thewindow open the door and handed me my bag of food. Avoid at all costs. Hunger is a much preferred option. At least you won't have to deal with stupidity to start your day. This is my fault for coming back. But 2 days in a row, the same dude took my order in the drive thru. When you ask them to read order back to you because all you hear is uninteligible grunts as he adventures thru Mickey D's evident labrynth of a computer system, he can't. For some reason, they do not have room or refuse to use the feature of showing your order on their multi-media 10' x 20' menu so you can verify that they or you did not have a brain fart. If you realize you need something else or they screwed up, no worries. They will let you go around thru the drive thru once again, or however long it takes. Or go inside, because they have opted for a policy of no new orders at the window. I get that. That can delay the whole, already super-flawed system. But, when they screw up or don't utilize proper customer service and read back your order so you can avoid the above detailed redo of this nightmare, it is in fact, NOT a new order. It is a fix of their error or lack of anything resembling the most basic customer service. The self-induced nightmare is not even close to being over. Once they begrudgingly and with a look of disgust and dissapproval, like you scratched yourself in public, they ask you to pull up to the infamous "line". At this point it is up to you. If you are mentally spent or like my wife, incapable of making a scene, even if she is being metaphorically crapped on over and over again by this awful place, Go ahead and pull up to the line. I politely advised I would not be pulling up to the line as I have been thru the above, recurring nightmare for a 2nd day in a row. Of course this gets the staff, presumably mis-manager, and whoever is within ear shot, of this "negotiation", murmuring. I like that word. It is important to keep in mind, neither party is using raised voices. Even to my own surprise, given my frustration level, I am not using my outside voice. Whet is the point? If you insist going to this hell hole, I suggest you pack your Job-level patience and stand up for yourself. "Not this time! I am not pulling up to the line". The remainder of my order quickly appeared and I drove off in disgust, pondering the Leo Getts character from Lethal Weapon and the infamous drive thru scene. " You don't go thru the drive thru! They always F - you in the drive thru!" No truer words spoken on the not so much time-saving invention of the fast food drive-thru. I don't review often, but wow. We got a hamburger and a crispy chicken sandwich and it was put together in a way that suggested the cook hated customers with a passion. The mayo on the crispy chicken was on the outside of the bun. Like on the top where you typically hold it. The hamburger bun was literally folded in half as though it was for a hot dog. Absolute carelessness in putting together the food. We also got cheeseburgers, and those were at least edible without modifications, but they were very carelessly put together as well. read more

Ummm, it's a Mcdonalds so you know all about the food. Nothing new and different on the culinary front. What is new about this location is the building. I don't understand the business case, but this location has a new building standing on the same ground on which an older McD once stood. This has happened to a handful of McD locations in my area over the past few years, and I thoroughly don't get it. Seems awefully wasteful and environmentally unfriendly to me to tear down a seemingly-fine restaurant and build a new one in the same spot. So what's the new building like? Well, it's grey and light grey and dark grey. If you enjoy that sort of modernish slate pallet you'll feel right at home here. For such a largeish building there don't seem to be all that many tables. There seem to be more tall bar bench seats than tables, which doesn't help much is you have 2 small kids with you. There are a few TVs on the walls and a few of the booths have small game screens (ours didn't so I'm not exactly sure what they can do). They have added a play area for the rugrats. Oh joy. Since the facility is so new the play structure is relatively clean. And they seem to have given some thought to sound abatement in this play area - its not deafeningly loud with screaming kids like many of them are. The kids are still squealing but my earsdrums aren't in as much pain as in other play places. Like the main restaurant, there are puzzlingly few tables in the play area. The two booths and one long table were both in high demand from other families during this busy lunch. We had to borrow a few seats from the end of the large table from another party. The kids enjoyed rambling though the play structure, and that permitted me plenty of time to draft this review on my phone with the help of McD's free wifi. 3 stars cus the food is predictable, the facility is new and clean, and the play area is quieter than others. Could have been more stars if there were more seating and a less austere color pallet. read more

Went for breakfast this morning 4-26-19 through the drive-thru. The girl at the second window was as rude as you can get. It seemed that we were bothering her or inconveniencing her in the morning. She forgot our coke, no biggie we asked for it, forgot our hot sauce, no biggie we asked for it again. Her attitude is what made it bad. She basically shoved the food through our window and let the window slam. We sat there to still get the coke, and I checked the bag for hot sauce and to no surprise it wasn't there. She came back with even more attitude asking, "why do you need?!" I said our coke and hot sauce, she came back with only coke, so we asked once again for the hot sauce. She rolled her eyes walked away and came back with 1 packet of hot sauce. Before the remodel, this Mcdonald's was the one I chose to go to as the Mcdonald's in Saline is horrible. After the remodel though, the staff have gotten lazy, rude and slow. Even the asian Manager, who at the old store was always upbeat and excellent with customers, is now one of the rudest staff members there. No eye contact when taking orders, huffing and puffing about having to wait on customers, and no hi, thank you, kiss my a**....nothing.
