I enjoyed a Greek salad with gyro meat and it had ample ingredients, tasted wonderful and prices were on point. My friend had a Southwestern type salad which had a spicy ranch dressing that had a medium plus heat level. I tried it and really enjoyed it, and I imagine as you eat more of it the heat level would rise! Staff were friendly and attentive at just the right time throughout our visit, which we chatted so much we took a while to realize that we were the only patrons left. But the staff were kind as could be as we left! I look forward to returning again soon! You should go try Honey Tree as well!

I was particularly pleased with the amount of rice that comes in a side order. The Greek salad is always very fresh and the dressing is a little more special than other Greek restaurants. You can order pita on the side, which is fine, because it is a fair price and it is fresh and warm. I get two since I get about three meals out of this salad folks! They do a nice job packaging their carry outs, it is thoughtful and results in a nice presentation when my family attacks their food. It feels "special" in comparison to other similar type restaurants, and the price is the same.

They have a pretty nice size menu with a lot of great options. A cool thing about their menu is their sliders. You get to choose whether you want a small or a full size. The idea is to be able to pick different sliders to choose to eat. I decided on the park bowl which came with white rice topped with sesame seeds, avocado, seaweed, and carrots. I added a salmon fillet. It was so fresh and delicious - and VERY filling! I also ordered the calamari for an appetizer and that was pretty tasty as well. I did have a cocktail, it was OK, I really didn't taste any liquor and it was a little bit more sweet than I would have liked.

I never expect stellar service when you have a big party. The issue I had was the food. It was mid at best. First it came out at all different times which I think is not ideal. I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap and it said it was grilled chicken.... There is absolutely NO way this was grilled chicken, it was canned chicken shredded to the max. That was disappointing because I was thinking it was grilled chicken cut into strips or chunks and then put in the wrap. I assumed incorrectly. For me it was very sub par, for the money I would rather go elsewhere. If you're going just for drinks, then maybe it's a decent spot. I had wine so nothing too adventurous.

We stopped in for dinner on a Monday evening before attending the Yelp Event in Livonia…read more The staff are really great - I was welcomed and seated right away. It was slow on the restaurant side, likely because it was a Monday, but the bar side was full of what looked to be "regular" patrons. Our server was really nice and very patient with my fiend and I. I ended up getting the sliders with chips. When they arrived, I started eating the first one. The buns are soft and they were served hot. That first bite was great! As I ate more into the center (these are not small patties), I found it to be slightly medium-medium well. I didn't eat the very center and didn't worry about it. Once I bit into the second one, though, I found that it wasn't cooked nearly enough so I just ate the edges since I had already ate most of the first one. Despite having eaten most of it, the server and Manager made everything right. I'll be back to try some of their other menu items since they had quite a bit I wanted to try.

It took over 30 minutes to get our burgers. They weren't full, so I don't know what took so long. When I got my hamburger it was so undercooked, I would consider it rare. It had a fully red interior. I had trouble finding my waiter, as he did not return to check on our food. I finally flagged to him down, and told him the issue. He replied that it is just how they cook it. Now, mind you, my father's hamburger was cooked properly, and was pink only in the center. I was asked if I wanted something else. I did, but it had taken so long to get the food, that I didn't want to wait another 10-12 minutes. I sent the hamburger back, uneaten. The waiter took the burger off the bill, and acted like he was doing me a favor for doing so. Terrible food, terrible service!

We arrived when it was not too crowded, but the restaurant very quickly filled up just after we arrived and unfortunately our posted server didn't notice us for quite a while so we had to flag someone to serve us and by that point the restaurant was getting pretty busy. Poor timing - oh well. We ordered the Prime Rib French Dip to split, as neither of us has a huge appetite but that was probably not a great decision. Usually, French dip sandwiches are huge, but this one was served on a hot dog bun, so not overly big. It was served with a healthy dose of horseradish cream sauce and was pretty tasty. I meant to substitute fries but in the chaos of it all forgot, so the sandwich came with chips which were unfortunately quite ordinary. My father ordered a beer flight and was quite pleased with his selections (6 x 3oz pours for $15). He most enjoyed the Sonorous Stout and he's a big fan of stouts and lagers in general. I think my father definitely enjoyed his experience and this was mostly for him, so that was good. I would definitely consider getting him a growler to go in the future since he really seemed to enjoy the beer very much.

Had the nachos and they were some of the saddest "nachos" I've ever had. Lukewarm, couple dribbles of that liquid cheese, some random toppings but absolutely no love at all. The type of plate you look at and immediately regret ordering. I get food and all overhead costs are rising, but I feel like so many places lately have this basic GFS slop with absolutely no soul or love. Would not recommend the food at all. Not trying to be a jerk and hope this place continues to do well, but in hopes of providing legit feedback it almost feels insulting looking at a menu knowing everything is overpriced, reheated freezer food. Would way prefer an extremely limited menu if it means they can up quality. This is literally my first yelp review ever, hopefully this reaches the right audience so they can make some changes.

La Marsa is a staple, love that they have multiple convenient locations! My husband and I are both obsessed with the half deboned chicken (white meat only), with the classic lemon-oregano sauce. The chicken has a bit of a char, but is still juicy. The sauce is a perfect balance of garlicky and herby goodness, with the bright snap of lemon. It's delicious! The chicken comes with two sides. I usually get hummus as a side, along with the roasted vegetables. My husband always eats half my hummus, so I get some of his rice. All the sides are delicious, except I wish the roasted vegetables had fewer green peppers. I'm just not a fan of them. The service is always super friendly and attentive. Love La Marsa!
