We all know what McD's is like. Zachary's local one is good in my estimation. It was recently renovated as well with two lines for the drive through which is excellent. It looks nice inside too. There is also a couple spots for picking up mobile orders! I have not tried that but I heard its a good service. This morning they were speedy and accurate with my order. More than once in the past they have given me sprite that tasted like straight club soda but that was not the case today. The only problem I have is sometimes the lobby is not very clean. Took a bite of my hash brown and when I pulled it out realized there was a dead roach inside of the container. I called the location immediately and reached the most rude manager I've ever spoken to who told me to check my attitude. Do not eat at this place it's filthy and they treat their customers terribly! read more

Took over 10 minutes of waiting at the front area reseved for drive through. When i called, the food was finally delivered to the 4 vehicles including mine. The original items were served cold. Hash browns were ok. read more

Fastest service with hot food at 2 pm. It was amazing to go thru drive thru in less than a minute with hot food.

Fast food in the south isn't worth it. My husband and I have had slow service, cold food, unclean bathrooms, and the workers really don't seem to want to help customers. It's really strange... California doesn't seem to have this overwhelming issue. It's probably best because we should eat at home anyway. read more

Really bad attitudes, rushes and makes food to where it is sloppy, isn't very cooperative with customers.

This is consistently the worst McDonald's I have ever been too. The staff has been so rude to me on multiple occasions, and I usually just come through to order a happy meal or a simple burger from their value menu. The food is sub-par yes its McDonald's but it should taste the same at every location right? They are always slammed in the drive through, maybe this is why the workers are so grouchy? Customer service is a very hard industry to work in, I will give them that. I come back out of convenience, but only for that reason. read more

Before I begin I know most people will say "well it's McDonald's- what do you expect?" Well - 1) I expect my order to be correct and 2), I expect relatively clean restrooms to use before getting back on the road. Unfortunately I neither of those things during this visit. Even with that I would have given a higher star rating but the staff was so rude that I left completely put out. Me and another guest waited in line 5 minutes before someone sauntered up to take our order. The menu is digital now and changed between breakfast and lunch so it takes a minute to even identify what you want. When I finally ordered , two chicken snack wraps with only grilled chicken and lettuce, the credit card machine went down. Luckily I had enough cash that I didn't have to go back to my car. The order took around 10 minutes to come out and had fried chicken, cheese and ranch - basically the opposite of what I ordered. I asked them to correct it and was met with an eye roll. Alas, my order was eventually delivered to me correctly and did taste good. Just a shame it took so long. I was about to travel several hours so I used the restroom. Yuck. I know it must be difficult to have to man restrooms and work the register, etc, but still. There were two stalls. One was out of order and the other one was pretty bad off. I used it rather than have to stop someplace else but had I had my daughter with me we would have held it. Bottom line is this location really let me down. But it's McDonald's and they're everywhere and so I know I'll end up at another one at some point... read more

Let me start by explain that I'm only giving them 3 stars because I'm guilty of returning.. we all know what to expect when we're here and for the most part it's on par.. However, NEVER order any of the sundaes. They clearly never clean their soft serve ice cream machine. So I pull up no one is in line outside or inside so I'm like yes this shouldn't take long ! I order my two big breakfast with hot takes and one extra hash brown. I pull around pay get to the next window expecting to wait a minute and leave. I get there and the lady asks me to pull around to the reserved parking with no one behind me or anything . I politely pull around and wait . Then maybe five or six minutes later still with no customers inside or out a lady walks out my food. Now I'm fine with waiting when they are packed I get that but no one at all was there. I get home to runny uncooked eggs ugh! So the eggs are inedible ! Most of McDonald's do not have inside dinning. That sucks. I do not eat in my car. I am not like some that eat while driving.

Web advertises this particular franchise as "Open 24 Hours". I pulled up behind another person in drive-thru at 3:40 am Saturday morning (7-28-2018) who apparently thought the same thing. She said "Hello" but no one answered so she pulled up and off. I pulled up to speaker and no acknowledgement, so I pulled around to the window. Saw a few people inside but they couldn't care less about me..., so I called the number. Lady answered, I asked if they were open 24 hrs. She said "Yes but they've closed down the register for shift change". I asked her when she'd open and she replied "about 4". So I came back at 4:18 am, pulled up to drive-thru... and once again, no acknowledgement. So I pulled up to the window. Saw two women talking to each other. One saw me but decided to finish her conversation with the other, then she walked away. The other woman turned and loudly hollered "We open at 5!" I gestured that she told me 4 over the phone. She then turned her head and started fiddling with something. I knocked on the window a few times but she wasn't going to look back at me if I was waving a ten in front of me. I was white and she was rude. I'm not going back there if they waved a ten in front of me now. Crappy place made by crappy employees who don't care about customers or efficiency. Apparently the McDonald's in Zachary Louisiana does not need business. This was about our eighth time to drive through the drive-through between the hours of 11 p.m. & midnight without anyone to take our order at the drive through. I am only assuming it is because everyone is in the parking lot talking. The service here is awful: the staff members are unfriendly & repeatedly fail to get the food order correct. However, this is considering that there is someone to take your order on a Saturday night. read more

Dysfunctional!! If you can't handle 2 lines please go to your owner and ask them to take you back down to 1. The lines are always extremely long, the patrons are even slower because they don't seem to know what taking a turn is, the food is iffy and the service is just as sketchy. Just a bit of advice... don't go here in the morning if you need to be somewhere. You will most definitely be late. read more

My kids enjoy almost every other day are McDonald's here in Zachary it's fast efficient and usually always on point with the meals they are sending out left and right too many people that follow behind in lines they always been nice courteous and we always appreciate them after school meals LOL thanks McDonald's read more

Fast, whoever makes the biscuits takes the time to make them nice and neat. Never sloppy.

AWFUL SERVICE - I paid at the kiosk and followed the directions, taking a number to a table. I got distracted with my phone and after 10 minutes realized I still didnt have any food. The kid nearby emptying the trash was occupied watching the saints game on his phone. Another young employee ran through the dining room whooping (must have been a good play, lol). The two young people at the counter clearly saw me and didnt acknowledge me in any way. Their phone was also on the game, propped on a drink machine. After a few moments I asked if someone could help me and explained I wanted a refund. I was very polite the entire time. The manager (Jalyn) eventually came to the counter, asking if I wanted my food. I said no, just a refund please. He processed the refund and walked away. He never greeted me, never said sorry, never said thank you. There is a serious lack of training and leadership at this store. Perfect example of why whenever theres a choice, I will always go to Chik-fil-a, even if I'd really rather have a burger. McDonalds should take their employees to Chik-fil-a on field trips to see how a fast food restaurant can really be run. read more

i went there about a week or so ago to order something light for my stomach, and what did a i order? a happy meal. i was order number 296 i should've been served first before 297 and what ever other number that was after me. may i add i even seen my order on their screen and they was just completely ignoring it. after a few more minutes i finally got my order. will i ever stop eating at this particular location? no. but indeed my stops there will be lessened. read more

My pregnant wife just waited in the drive thru for 25 min to have her order not only messed but to be charged 30 cent per little coffee creamer . She asked for 10 to put in her oatmeal because she likes it that way. She paid 3.00 for 10 creamers thats outragous. read more
