It had been raining and the floors were wet. They have signs out but someone should have been mopping. It was really wet. I got an iced coffee and a kids hamburger meal. New people trying to wait on you with no one around to help them. Sweet young girl was really trying but she forgot to ask if I wanted apples or double fries with the kids meal. she forgot to ask what I wanted to drink. She did not know how to order the ice coffee. DO STOP HERE! They are always busy. The lines are always long and they offer double lines. I just left here (9/13/2020) I placed a mobile order and stayed in the park for 30 mins waiting for food. I went inside the store twice asking about my food and the manager (Dujuan) basically ignored me. I had to yell out to him about my order as he was passing by. He didn't care enough to find out why I was there. I walked back to my car to wait. After a few mins of nothing. I tried to cancel my order. I went back inside and asked how I could cancel my order only for him to say over his shoulder. Online. Which I tried to do. Again waiting for help on my refund I had to chase him down which I shouldn't have had to do. He almost gave me the wrong change back for my order and he had my order ticket in hand. Drive through SUCKS. I literally will drive to Wendell to get food now. I go between lanes and no one greets you to take your order. It takes a couple of HELLOS, and at least 3-5 minutes to get someone. This is ridiculous. I'm so tired of complaining and nothings changed. Then we have to be parked! I went through drive thru on February 25@1:03am and was greeted with we're only taking cash at this time go head with your order. As i was telling her my order she continued to interrupt me, be very rude and short. As i got to the window and i repeated my order to assure it was right as it was messed up the prior morning the worker assured me it was. I then asked what was the lady name that took me order she said " I don't do names, I'm not good with remembering names." I then laughed and said oh you loyal. If you want to sit in your car and wait for your food, maybe have a nice chat with a friend or family member or even file your taxes while waiting for that great bargain meal from McDonald's look no further. This location has an outstanding wait time of 1 hour even at midnight. It's the perfect opportunity to rest your foot, put it in park, and have that 30 minute conversation about what to order before you reach the speaker. Need another 20 minutes to find your card or count out exact change? No worries, plenty of time for that too. Maybe next time I'll bring monopoly and wait for someone else to buy Wakelon st and improve industry speed in the area. I know nights most businesses are closed or closing by 11 and there is a lot of cleaning to do but whatever happened to places taking orders and delivering food as a priority over cleaning and closing a store/restaurant? read more

They always seem to have issues with service. The wait is always longer than it should be. The parking isn't great and then due to how slow they are, the line wraps around the building and cause more parking issues. The parking and drive-through is not well designed. Also the location always seems to be too cold inside. read more

This is the slowest McDonald's, never do you spend less than 15 mins in line. Drive thru service is always awful. Going inside you can at least get good customer service. Came to this McDonalds on my way to Rocky Mount. Went inside, because the drive-thru line was too long. Service was ok. The woman taking my order was older, and seemed to have been sick (She was coughing a lot). I wasn't too fond of that. Worst experience ever. The drive thru was wrapped around the building so I opted to go Inside to get our order. Only ordered three milkshakes and it took 30 min. To make matters worse the manager was just standing there doing nothing. Only one poor young girl up front taking orders and the line was out the door. Finally got my milkshakes and the strawberry was 1/4 strawberry and 3/4 vanilla. When I said something about it not looking quite right the manager takes a piece off the milkshake machine then begins to do something for another customer, still while the piece is in her hand and no one can fix me a "re-do" milkshake. We have gone here for years, plus every Sunday since we moved here 4.5 years ago. Access is good, the service is good, and we like many of the food items. But we mainly go there for the atmosphere! We recommend the Zebulon McDonald's highly. read more
