The lady helping us was sweet, but she mentioned they only had certain frozen custards available at the moment, which was disappointing. I feel like there should've been a sign letting customers know that beforehand. When I questioned my order and mentioned what the sign described the Carolina Concrete to be, the employee did offer to remake it, which I appreciated. But honestly, I shouldn't have had to ask for something to be made correctly the first time when I paid for it. I'm not sure what was going on, but it felt like they weren't prepared for the Sunday crowd on a hot day. And no -- before anyone assumes it melted because of the weather -- I ate it inside my car with the A/C on, not outside. One thing I'll always give them credit for is the atmosphere. The outside seating area is still really nice, especially with the fountain, and it looks beautiful at night with the lights.
