And let me tell you, there was no left over in sightI absolutely enjoyed my burger and the sweet potato fries were so fresh and by far the best sweet potato fries I've ever had! We went in last weekend around 2 pm supposedly after a "big rush". We were the only folks in the dining area and 3 people in the back bar. The TVs were really loud and the space was dirty. The table was so sticky we used hand wipes to clean it ourselves. The server seemed disinterested and ignored the napkins and food on the floor around us. Now the food: we kept it very simple just single smash burgers. They were okay, nothing special. The food is pricey. A side of cole slaw is over $5. I visited Smash Masters on a Wednesday along with my daughter who works in the area. We were warmly greeted and promptly seated by a friendly hostess. Our server greeted us shortly afterwards and quickly took our drink orders. We were seated near the bar area, which was open and full of televisions. For entrees, my daughter got the Boujie Burger and I got the Chefs Salad. Both came out in a reasonable time frame and looked delicious! During the Wendell downtown summer concert in June, I ordered sweet potato waffle fries. There was only 1 order ahead of me, and one right after me. After the other 2 people received their orders, which included burgers, I asked about my order (I was the only one left). They clearly forgot the order, but instead of acknowledging they did so, the 2 people in the truck started whispering and smiling, and after several seconds handed me my order. It was regular waffle fries, and just warm enough to know they were just sitting there. My wife and I didn't have the time to complain and wait as we had to be somewhere, so we left with lousy food/fries that cost $11. Lousy business practice screwing over your customers, tells me a lot about who they are. All they needed to do was acknowledge they forgot and offer to rush the order, cook a fresh order and not try to pass off old food to make a $. Will never give these people my hard earned money again, and I will share this experience with everyone I know. If they are at the next Wendell downtown concert (or any other local event), don't waste your $ on a dishonest business when there are several others more worthy of your $. Takes about 10 minutes from order to service, with 1 or 2 people ahead of you. I built my own - tomato, raw onion, relish and ketchup. Served as ordered. Patties cooked slightly more than medium. My first time having food from this establishment based off a recommendation from TikTok. First to order in DoorDash was annoying. You select half and half and can only select one flavor for your wings. I wanted barbecue and garlic Parmesan. I asked for them to be extra crispy and they arrived 10 bare and 10 with "garlic parm" no flavor at all just spicy from the pepper. They were not good at all. The eggrolls had some substance on them that also had no flavor. Not to mention you CAN NOT select drinks on the door dash menu -- so all this unflavored food with nothing to wash it down with. If I felt like putting clothes on I would drive down and have a conversation with them face to face. I'm so mad about spending $56 on food and it just wasn't good. read more

Burger was moist cooked well (but missing the bacon I requested to be added so took one star off for that.) Fries were crispy and well seasoned. Family dinner tonight at the opening at the restaurant. Had a great time, a relaxed atmosphere with several screens on different sports. Our server (I can't remember his name ) was great, kept checking on our drinks and making sure we had everything we needed. This is my sixth time coming to the Smash Masters location in Zebulon, NC. I am a burger fan, and have ordered burgers in various parts of the world and of course here in the United States. Smash Masters makes one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. Highly recommended. The quality of the meat, their signature sauce, delicious fries, plus the friendly service is hard to match. Although the price is a little above average, the quality never disappoints. Highly recommended. Went in on a Sunday around 3. Only a handful of people in there so food came out extremely fast. I got the build your own with sweet potato fries- ask for the dipping sauce that goes with them so delicious! So I left a great review the first few times I came. But the past 3 times we've been sat with this guy who I guess doesn't care about the tables he serves? First time we asked for a Shirley temple. We get it allot there. He came out with some weird looking drink and it was because he took it before the ticket was ready. Each time we are sat with him he barely checks on the table. Like first you should have wrote it down WHEN I first ordered and second you should be checking your orders before it brought out and third if I had my f#*#*# ranch I probably would be saying something and I would have been able to eat the whole burger. And one more thing, as a server if you're walking around rubbing all on your face that's nasty wash you damn hands or go home. Another thing is he sat us near some guy cutting holes in the ceiling so that made it so much better! Do not recommend. They must have used their entire budget on the front facade because everything else is a disappointment. The interior is just a large, open, loud space with tables. No decor or attempt to make it match the exterior look. My wife and I had "build your own" burgers. Both were bland. There was no seasoning at all on the burger patties. They forgot to put bacon on my wife's burger. And, they must use light mayonnaise because even though it was dripping out of the burger, it had very little taste. The batter was falling off of the fried pickles as they lay in the basket. I had the house mango margarita, and I'm not sure it even had tequila in it. I like mango, and the mango flavor was almost overpowering. My wife had a frozen margarita, and they left the salt off the rim. It was definitely not worth the $76 I paid. We'd get burgers again from this good truck with friendly people. We tried it in Wake Forest today. The burgers are double, and the buns are great. The prices seem competitive with other burger places. The topping choices are very good, too, especially offering grilled onions. The only reason I gave 4/5 stars is we thought the burgers were a little salty and the waffle fries too peppery. That's subjective I know, but I'd rather add extra S&P myself. I ordered my food over the phone but when I walked in the place was clean and well put together. now let's get to the food ,well I'll say this your better off saving your money and going to cookout ,my fries were cold and some were hard which indicates they had been sitting out for a while, my "beef" hotdog definitely didn't taste like beef and the toppings that I asked on my hotdog was not fresh and tasteless. oh and I'm not finished, that burger was terrible. it had no flavor , it was dry, and I it was like they were running low on condiments because they were real skimp on ketchup and mustard. The burgers were just OK and we were robbed! We ordered 2 burgers (1 at $14 and 1 at $12) and 1 side of plain waffle fries ($6) which came to over $40.88. When I asked the girl who rung up the order where the extra expense was she said there was a 2% processing fee and tax. If you do the math that totals about 34.88 - they added in $6.00 for themselves for a tip and did not disclose this (either that or she charged me for 2 orders of fries and was too lazy to fix it). My husband tipped them $6.00 on top of that so we ended up paying $46.88 for 2 mediocre burgers and 1 order of fries and the girl said nothing. Not only that they don't give you a receipt so there is no way to tell what you are actually charged for. Ripoff for sure! They are sneaky, lazy and have a sub-part product that they are more than over charging for. Do yourself a favor and avoid this food truck/establishment like the plague! read more
