They also said they'd get back to me in 45 minutes and I had to call at 60 minutes and she had not gone through them. I honestly don't think they went through them at all and when I retrieved my items, my daughter heard one sales clerk say to the other, "That was stupid". Not sure if she meant that the person who was supposed to go through the clothing, didn't go through it and that was stupid.

I don't know why they used that much ammonia. When I got my purchases home I noticed the smell got in the clothes so I will have to probably wash them two or three times to get the smell out. Customer service: Lady behind the register was less than pleasant. I know people have bad days but from the other reviews it seems this is a pattern. I've been to Goodwill locations across the country and so far this is the worst.

This was our routine every week. The employees are rarely friendly. Now they have reduced their hours so that they close at 7:00 pm. That hardly gives us time to look around because we get there at 6:00 because of our work schedules. One especially cocky and rude female worker started making snide remarks at 6:05 about how she was leaving at 7:00 and if she had to she would kick everyone out herself. Then beginning at 6:15 they made an announcement that they were closing in so many minutes, and they made this announcement EVERY FIVE MINUTES. The employees had very loud conversations about how they were getting ready to close, and made some of us loyal customers feel like unwanted trash. This store will be losing my family's business.

They also have a dressing room, so you can try on your potential purchases. Mountain View Mercantile also sells newer things, like jewelry, bags and accessories made by local artisans. You'll also find a carefully curated collection of home goods, knickknacks, tchotchkes, thingamajigs and ephemera that you didn't know you needed, but now you suddenly can't live without. The people who work here are super kind and helpful! This is a very pleasant store to shop. And bonus: It's located within steps of other antique stores, so you can make a whole afternoon of visiting vintage stores.
