Shoutout to the last chair on the left. Changing the channel on the tv, checking his phone, talking to people rather than focus on my haircut. This was my second time here. The first time he did solid, but this second time he rushed the hell out of my cut to make sure he took care of his appointment that was after me. @Marty McFly if you allow that barber to give crooked line ups and represent your brand.. goodluck with that. The messed up part is how I told him that it was crooked and he insisted that it wasn't lol. I don't know how you can mess up an easy 2, fade, and line up. Not many places know how to give a clean head shave and/or a flawless line up on a beard, So, if you're like me, then Mcfly's is your spot! Although they accept walk-ins, I recommend making an appointment if you have a chance, they're popular in demand. Been getting cut by Marty for awhile now even when she was at the other spot which will remain nameless. She's a solid barber and gives great attention to her customers. The shop is a strong reflection of her with a large clean area, the awesome logo burned into the concrete, movies on the TV screens and comics on the walls. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, so go park at Wendy's and its a short walk. Great tapers and fades that only the best barbers can truly give. She has a couple more barbers on staff now and by the looks of it, they give the same amount of customer service and detail that she does. Reflecting her great leadership as an owner. Check out the pics already on here and you can see the quality of cut they do there. If you want Marty in particular you'll almost always have to make an appointment. But again all the barbers there seem very competent and skilled and I wouldn't have a problem sitting with any one of them. My family all goes here now, including brothers, cousins and nephews. McFlys is a low key gem with plenty of seating and a chill vibe for the family. No raucous noise, just a nice chill spot to bring the family to get work done to their hair. The only thing is that, this place is pretty hard to find at first because it's a bit hidden. They would probably have more customers if they were a bit out in the open where people could see them. I've been coming to McFly's for two years now and I can't imagine going anywhere else. I live in San Gabriel but I work in Torrance so I make my way to McFlys after work during the weekdays. Sometimes, I make my way down to the South Bay on a Saturday. My go to barber is Renee but I've seen the work of the others and I can confidently say I'm impressed with their work and I won't hesitate to get my mid to high fade pompadour cut from anybody else in the shop. Renee is super talented as an artist. You can see some of his art work posted around the shop. You can ask him and he'll show you designs he's done on someone's head. I feel like I'm in good hands when he cuts me up. The dynamic they all have is great too. Always cracking jokes, always have an interesting show on, and I've even been there when the owner, Marty, surprised one of her employees with a birthday cake. Definitely got that family feel. I highly recommend this shop. It's $18 for a cut plus $2 if you make an appointment. Very reasonably price as prices now for a haircut is $25+. read more

VERY DISAPPOINTED with the guy on the second last chair on the left...Took my 7 year old son and EVEN showed this guy a picture of what I wanted. As soon as he started cutting his hair, he went really but really short I even told him not to mess with the top part and yet he still cut it unevenly and super short . As he finished, his haircut wasn't even anything close to the picture that I had showed him, it was HORRIBLE. He even had the damned audacity to LIE and say that the picture wasn't clear enough for him to see it. Is he for reals? Why didnt he said so when he first saw it? When you start a haircut, isn't it logical to start low, then progressively go higher if I want it? Not start high, because you can't go back. Just a terrible, terrible haircut. Never coming back here again. I went here last week with my nephew. The past couple times they did an alright job. This time around the service wasnt as pleasant. i asked for a taper and it took about 45 to an hour because the barber with dreads was talking the whole time, his hands were shaky which ended with a less fhan mediocre hair cut. My beard and taper was terrible so i had to go to another barber to fix my hair. I would not reccomend this place to anyone. read more
