At similar stores like Crate and Barrel, West Elm, etc., the prices are often inflated, yet the prices at Nadeau, while not exactly cheap, are far less than what you'd pay for similar items that are mass produced at its competitors. Part of the reason their prices are so low is that they don't have a huge amount of inventory sitting in a showroom. This had me a little apprehensive since I wouldn't have a chance to try the chairs out first or see if I liked one of them in my house before buying 8. Tom offered to have his guys bring the chairs over, assemble one, and bring it in to see if I liked it. If I wasn't satisfied with how it looked in my dining room, he said he'd just take them all back, no problem. So that worked out great and put my mind at ease for the online purchase. The delivery process was also very smooth. They called in advance of heading over like Tom said they would, then assembled the chairs outside in the truck to avoid getting styrofoam bits all over my floor. After dealing with an overcharge on my credit card, I was told I'd receive a call the next day to schedule delivery, which I paid $99 for. That call never came until I followed up on social media three days later. It wasn't until August 27 that I finally heard from someone to schedule the delivery. On September 11, the delivery arrived, but one of the pieces was not what I had ordered. I immediately called customer service and sent photos of the correct item. They did offer to refund the incorrect item, but instead of taking ownership, they made it seem like they were doing me a favor. I also requested a refund of the $99 delivery fee, since the service I paid for (delivering the correct items) wasn't fulfilled. Later, I saw some internal emails by mistake, and it became clear they had no intention of refunding the delivery fee. The whole interaction left me feeling disappointed and puzzled as to why they wouldn't just refund such a small fee to keep a customer. Despite being excited about the furniture itself, this experience has soured me on purchasing from them again. My advice: take photos of everything you buy and be prepared for potential issues. If they're willing to lose a customer over $99, it raises concerns about their overall business practices.

As we preceded to complete the transaction he said "before I charge you, let me make sure it's still available." I was happy he did that considering all sales are final and it was the last sofa in stock. Well, my sofa was delivered today 6/13 and I couldn't be happier with the service and price I received.
