    It was nothing but God that sent me in my basement to see my boiler was flaming from underneath…read more Usually there's a glow but this was different the flames were coming outside of the boiler, the parts and chute was covered in soot. I immediately called the gas company and they came and shut off the gas line. It's the dead of the winter and now I have no heat. I didn't know where to begin. I checked the internet but nothing jumped out at me. I went on yelp and began reading reviews and I ran across Lawrence heating & air. I called spoke to a woman who was very pleasant and told me a tech could come out to assess the boiler to see if it was still usable. Joe came and he looked at it and said it it's a hazard. With all the rust and corrosion and not to mention whatever was on fire. He said it needed replacing. He talked to me about the options and stated I would get an email from the owner of my options. 30 mins later the email was there and everything was included. All the info I needed to know about the unit, specs, warranty, parts/tubing for replacement, price. It was a proposal. I reached out to Lawrence with my questions and he answered right away. I also stated my elderly dad lives with me and elderly need service as soon as possible. That was no problem. He sent me payment options as well. Once I accepted the proposal and date was locked in and they techs came the next day on time. Randy showed up first, then Joe & Chaly. They immediately put down floor draping and loaded all of the supplies , pipes , boiler, etc. They opened all the radiators starting at the top. All of them were pleasant and very Knowledgeable about their job. Any questions I asked Randy explained. They cleaned up behind themselves and made sure everything was put back in place. Once they were done Randy told me about my new unit and what was removed and put in. This company made the entire stressful event so much more easier, like a weight had been lifted. My house is warm and cozy thanks to everyone involved .. Great teamwork ! I would definitely recommend !!! Thank you so much to everyone that played a part in getting me back up in running !!

I am an out of state…read morecontractor, but was able to work with the friendly customer support person to arrange for a service technician. I made them aware of pets in the house. The technician arrived a couple of days earlier than the appointment date and efficiently snaked the drain. Mom was able to do the wash that day and they did not try to take advantage of her price wise. The technician was friendly and professional. We have dealt with these guys in the past and would recommend them to anyone in the future.

    FRAUD - If zero stars were possible, that's what I would choose…read more We replaced our 18-year-old HVAC system with a 2-ton Rheem unit from Hutchinson Heating & Cooling in early August, based on a family recommendation. From day one, the system has been a nightmare. Our home now has indoor humidity between 60-80% day and night. Hutchinson sent six different technicians, all of whom admitted the original crew failed to properly seal and insulate the ductwork. Still, the problem persists. Their "solution" was to tell us to run a dehumidifier 24/7 (which only spiked our electric bill) or to pay another $2,500 for a "band-aid" dehumidifier that wasn't guaranteed to work. Managers Matt and George gave us the runaround, promised callbacks that never came, and pushed blame onto our home's construction--even calling it an "anomaly." When we formally requested they remove the system and issue a refund, we were told no, despite their 5-Star Guarantee which states: "If you are dissatisfied with the performance of the equipment, our service, our people or for any reason, we will do whatever it takes to make it right and correct the problem to your satisfaction... or you don't pay." We've now spent a month chasing managers and customer service reps who repeatedly fail to follow through. Even after filing a BBB complaint, we were strung along and ignored. Meanwhile, our electric bill has jumped $150, my parents still haven't received their promised $200 referral credit, and most importantly--we're living with unsafe conditions. Our home is 72°F with 80% humidity (higher than outside!), and mold thrives at those levels. We have two small children in the house, and Hutchinson has shown zero concern for their health or safety. This system has made our home less comfortable and less safe than our old unit. Hutchinson has refused to honor their own guarantee, accept accountability, or provide a resolution. Save yourself the stress, money, and health risks--avoid Hutchinson Heating & Cooling at all costs.
