Great easy to find neighborhood spot that treated us as an old customer, our first visit.

This results in a staff that "Does their own thing" And for me and a guest, this then resulted in over an HOUR and a HALF for two sandwiches!! 3 other tables that ordered AFTER us got their food 15-30 minutes BEFORE we got anything. Very understaffed and under-trained! Cooks run kitchen according to what each one feels like. They run staff "How THEY WANT". New owners with no experience in the industry, that hired friends and family instead of hiring an experienced "Bar & Restaurant, Kitchen Manager" to hire capable, experienced staff. If you want to play pool or listen to a band..Great. if you want a quality menu and food service...I'd go somewhere else.

The waitress said it is a strawberry syrup, I doubt there was tequila in it. Looking at the drink looked more yellowish tan the drink was horrible. Now on to the food. It took over an hour to get our food. Other's came in after we ordered and they were served within 10 - 15 minutes of arrival. Every time we inquired about our food, waitress said "sorry, it will be out soon". I think we asked about it 5 or so times. FINALLY, a little over an hour later we received our order. Food wasn't great and I have no desire to patronize them again.

There are literally five other bars that are better, have better food and service, that are easier on the wallet. Update: Instead of listening to what I said. The owner Renee, talks down to people. ( we did not partake today) maybe sometime soon! My friend had their avocado toast which looked amazing. ( I personally do not eat avocado) her boyfriend had the breakfast pizza which is personal pan size. I on the other hand went big or go home. I had the breakfast poutine. Which did not disappoint! Their homemade sausage gravy was to die for!! It's loaded with potatoes and fried cheese curds. I added eg for $2 additional. Talk about food coma! We just drank coffee and water. The ladies taking and brining out our orders were very kind. I don't think they were prepared for the crowd after the gingerbread run. It wasn't too bad. They did kindly inform us if we did want the mimosa flight it may take a bit to come out. Copper fire you outdid it this time on the food!!

Can you get more St. Louis than an Irish Bar located in the Soulard area of St. Louis? I guess I…read moreshould say pub. I told my son I have never been here in my life. I ordered their pork chop, which came with asparagus and layered potatoes. The pork chop was served with a chutney sauce made from apricot, black, and golden raisins. This pork chop is somewhat unique to St. Louis; it's a huge bone-in chop, nothing in Naples, FL can compare. My chop was cooked perfectly. Now, as to never being here, I am exiting the building. There is a small dining area with an Irish band playing. I turned to my son and said I had been here before, pointed to the table I sat at, and told him I had Irish stew. It was in my drinking days, and I am sure I sang all the tunes with the band.

We were seated and it was even busier. It took some time to order drinks and even longer to order and receive our food. Nothing unreasonable especially given the sheer amount of people there. But guess what we enjoyed our table conversations while the drinks were routinely refreshed and when the food arrived it was perfect. While "just basic bar sandwiches and a burger " everything was prepared as ordered. The appropriate temps. Mostly importantly it was just good tasting. Hats off to the cooks and the service providers! Impressive
