An unlicensed, drunk driver had collided into us from the rear. It took a while for us to realize what had happened. When we came to our senses from such a devastating blow, we realized we were in severe pain from the injuries. Having seen several traffic collisions, I never knew the horror one went through or the repercussions the victim of a drunk driver experienced. It is a convoluted system and an insurance dominated event that one is left to navigate and fall victim to. The insurance company denied the drunk driver was their client and denied any coverage. I was left in the dark, disillusioned and disappointed at an insurance dominated system. I was afraid to get stuck with high medical treatment bills and out of pocket vehicle repair expenses. Ultimately having no compensation for a wrong committed against me by a drunk driver. Loraine at Westlake Injury Law took my case. She was able to get the insurance company to admit liability and immediately got me medical treatment, repaired my vehicle and ultimately got my family and I, a settlement.
