She was able to provide details about the vehicle, answered my questions, and made an "out of town" buying experience easy. Within 24 hours we were headed to Jeff City and the truck was ready to go when I arrived. Price discussions were straight forward and I received a very fair price for my trade in vehicle. Sara made the whole process enjoyable and I'd highly recommend her and the whole Joe Machens team that made this a great experience. So i make the trip from Columbia to Jeff to look at the car. I get to the dealership and the car salesman wouldn't even get up to shake my hand. Big red flag to begin with. As were looking at the car another sales who works come up and mentions how someone who works there is wants to buy the car and i should get it before him. Another red flag. That why they were returning calls because someone who works their wants to buy to they are holding it for them. As this is going they are repeatedly changing the price of the car thousands of dollars. And tells me it's because of the market? Mind you it was a 2017... even after all this i was still gonna go get the car cause it was what i wanted. I brought my trade in the next day for them to basically try and screw me over. $6000 less than what i told them i wanted. Then when i mentioned selling the car myself and coming back i was told "whats the point? To only get a few extra thousand?" Who says shit like that unless you're just tryna make a sale. I then told them i wanted to take the night to think and pray about it and i was given an eye roll from the salesman and he walked away and left me at his desk for 10 mins just to come back and offer me $500 more for my trade after i already said i wanted to think about it. He goes to walk away again so i followed him and asked for my keys to my car. He then proceeded to tell me "you dont need them" The whole time this was supposedly the top salesman there. How does anyone buy a car from that guy. Didn't even want to have any type of conversation with me unless i was making a deal. NEVER GO HERE TO BUY A CAR. Worst experience ever. Go to CDJR in Columbia they will get you exactly what you want with a great deal!

They managed to fit me in without an appointment and late in the day. My diesel truck had a faulty EGT. They overnighted it in, and installed it on a Saturday Morning. Took care of the extended warranty claim on my behalf. I could not ask for better service, more pleasant staff or nicer waiting room! Would have given them more stars if I could!

I posted my 2019 truck for sale with only 79,000 miles on it for 20,500 (nearly 2k below average sales price on autotrader and across sales sites.) I explained it had chipped paint as well as a small dent on the side and posted photos of everything. I received a message from Clay on FB who said he was interested in buying it. When I asked if he'd like to test drive or see the truck he said: "I don't necessarily need to see it to buy it. I work for Rusty Drewing Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac in Jefferson City, Missouri." He offered me18k because of the paint and dent, wrote up and sent me a photo of the bill of sale and the cashiers check. After I received those photos I rejected other offers and interested parties and took down the ad. We had to wait for the sale of the truck to organize our move and once I saw the check and bill of sale I proceeded to plan our move logistics across the country. Four days after the photos were sent to me I met two workers from Rusty Drewing who drove 4 plus hours to pick up the truck and give us the check. The two workers Rob and Bob were two of the kindest men I've ever met and Clay put them both in a very uncomfortable position. When they arrived and sent photos of the truck, Clay said he was pulling out of the deal because of the paint on the door (same paint issue described in the post and shown in the photos.) He then proceeded to have us wait for 30 minutes while he discussed what price he was willing to still buy it for. At this point we had already arranged our move and gave up other offers to stick to the agreement of the price Clay had offered. At no point did Clay ask for further photos or details about the truck or say that the price offered could change in all the time we discussed the sale. All he wanted was the VIN number, never asked for anything else and said he didn't need it. We had no choice but to accept the offer of another two thousand off the price since we do not have the time to repost and find another buyer before we leave town. Be careful with these guys, this salesmen does not stick to his word, if they contact you be very careful of a bait and switch.
