We went into the store and I saw my son started doing his bathroom shuffle, seeing this I knew I didn't have long until he would have an accident right there in the store. I asked the clerk if we could use his bathroom and was turned away! I couldn't believe it. He told us to go to the end of the shopping center to use the public restrooms. I had to go to another store to get the code and it was wrong, so by the time someone walked us over to the restrooms my son had an accident. Needless to say both people I went to for help were men. Didn't even care it was for a 4 year old! Just disgusting!

We had high hopes for this old well established antique shop on a recent visit to Bellingham…read more Our hopes were quickly dashed once we looked around inside this shop to see mostly piles of old tools laying on tables, ho hum paintings stacked on the floor in the back (which were hard to view) and tons of uninteresting books stacked on tall shelves along the walls which seemed like a waste of valuable retail floor space. The dust was rather thick on the glass shelves we noted when we looked closer at a few things. Sure... we noticed a few better pieces of golden oak in the shop including a couple really nice curved front display cases. The few cases that were priced were tagged at nearly 3 times what they were worth. What a joke.

They have a small, curated selection of clothes, in addition to handmade local goods plus vintage items like Pyrex, children's toys, and then some. There's a large variety of newish, old, and antique items including jewelry, clothes, housewares, toys, books, etc. Vendors are able to rent space and bring their random items in, which allows for a good variety. The building is quite large and has another store in the lower level. They are separate businesses, so be sure to pay on the floor you're wandering.

There is an older cat in the shop, and while I absolutely love cats, it was very clear that it is urinating inside. The odor of cat urine was extremely strong and hard to ignore. It made it difficult to browse comfortably. Pricing throughout the store also felt high. I did find a few interesting items, but overall many things seemed marked well above what they're worth. The costume jewelry section was especially frustrating. I appreciated that the clerk unlocked the case and allowed me to look, but having someone stand closely beside me the entire time felt awkward; considering the position and place where we were. If the items require that level of supervision, it might make more sense to keep them in the front jewelry counter area. Which they were not using for jewelry. The cabinets being secured with visible chains throughout the store was also off-putting and added to an uncomfortable browsing experience. What truly disappointed me was the pricing and representation of the jewelry. There was a costume ring priced at $80 that appeared to be worth closer to $20. Another was marked $60 and also clearly costume. A "sterling silver" ring was priced at $115, yet there was no visible 925, STER, or STERLING stamp, no paperwork, and the citrine stone did not appear genuine. Without proper identification or documentation, those prices felt unreasonable. Between the odor and the questionable pricing, I left feeling uneasy about the value of other items in the store as well. I'm sharing this in hopes that improvements can be made, because antique shopping should feel enjoyable and trustworthy.

I ended up getting a great deal on a nice mid-century dining table that was missing a foot. He offered to find me a new foot, and went above and beyond to help me get it to my apartment. We've also been in touch via email, and he offered to alert me when he gets in new stuff that I'm on the look out for in my price range and style. Like, if I were back home in the city, this stuff would by 5x as much and I'd pay through the nose to rent a van to get the furniture back to my house, and no one would care that I want a mid-century bedside table with a drawer in walnut. The store is clean, well-organized, and doesn't have the dusty, oppressive, overwhelming, hoarder den, imposible-to-navigate feel of other antique shops. A must- go if you like beautiful old stuff and attentive customer service.

I had just moved into my little studio and I was looking for some things to furnish it, and I found the PERFECT dish set here. It was beautiful! The problem was, I didn't quite have the money to pay for it. Not only did he give me a discount, but he let me put a down payment on it, and I came back in a week to pick it up, and he had it all wrapped up for me to take home! Wonderful customer service, and great pieces. I will be back.
