I was told that they weren't willing to put another permanent retainer on, and the reasoning seemed sound, so that's fine. They said the plastic, removable, night-time retainers would be $390... I said that's not something I would be interested in because of the price, and they shrugged their shoulders and said "Alright." I don't have experience with the removal process for a permanent retainer, but it was INCREDIBLY painful. I felt like the person performing it was being much rougher than was necessary. When that was done and I went to the front desk, the woman there asked ME how much I was told the removal would cost... I said I didn't know. Then she started talking about the ~$400 cost for the plastic retainers before I politely told her that I had chosen not to purchase those. She then asked me TWICE more if anyone had been able to tell me how much the removal would cost... I was incredibly confused- how should a patient know the exact cost of a procedure better than the staff handling accounting and charges? I walked out dumbstruck and confused.

It has been very difficult finding a dentist that would help me get this fixed so I can smile again. I went to Love Lee Dental about a year ago and I was told that I needed implants, which costs $20,000. I dont have $20,000, who does right. Then Dr Lee told me that if I got a root canal on #9 and #6 pulled, they would help me. I acquired a second policy that will pay for a cosmetic bridge in full. I also have a second policy that will pay $3,000 a year. Dr Lee also told me I need to get crowns where molars used to be. So I got #9 and #6 done the way they said I needed to in order for them to help me. So I was planning on getting Dr Lee to do the crowns on the bottom in preparation for getting the bridge done in 2026. I was very excited because I saw a light at the end of the tunnel. However when I called today, I was told that they weren't going to help me like they have said they would for more than a year. I explained that I only needed Dr Lee to do the crowns on the bottom of my mouth. So I was put on hold and when the customer service representative came back on the phone she then said that they do not accept my insurance. This is a flat out LIE. I just got a list of dentists in network and Love Lee Dental is on that list. This is an irrefutable fact. I was devastated because I trusted that once I got # 9 and #6 taken care of they Dr Lee would help me begin to end my long nightmare that has greatly affected my confidence and even my ability to talk with clients on a day to day basis because I was so self conscious. So now I have to talk to who knows how many dentists to find one that will help me like Dr Lee said she would for more than a year. So I'll now lose the help that I would have recieved from my insurance for 2025. My insurance would have paid for every dime of the procedures that I need. I just need a couple of crowns done and not only will they not do what they said they would but they LIED to me and said they dont take my insurance. UNETHICAL and WRONG IN EVERY WAY. This is what I want more than anything but when I'm ready to get it done. They kick me to the curb while also lying by saying they are not in my network. I cried after hanging up on the receptionist because that's how important this is to me. KISS MY BUTT LOVE LEE DENTAL!!!

My daughter loves going there too because Kimmy, Terry and Dr. Stern are very friendly and make the experience an enjoyable one that isn't masked by video games and toys. Here is what happened: I needed to see a dentist as we recently moved to the area, so I called and spoke with someone in the office and specifically asked if Dr. Lemons was a preferred in-network dentist on my dental plan (As I knew that they would only cover the costs of the cleanings if he was). I was told that he was a preferred in-network provider by the lady who answered the phone that day, so I scheduled the cleaning. The cleaning itself went normally and it was determined that I needed to get a filling, so we scheduled another appointment. At the beginning of the next appointment, I met with the office clerk and she provided a statement of what the billing would look like with my insurance coverage and recommended that I pay the portion ahead of time (about $50) and that my insurance would cover the rest. I paid the $50 and got the filling and went home. I then started receiving bills from the office and just figured it was because the insurance was taking a while to pay them because I do not have to pay for preventative care on this plan and already paid the deductible for the filling. Dr. Lemons office then called me a few months later and said that I needed to pay the bill, at which time I explained my situation and how my insurance was supposed to cover the rest. The lady who called me told me that Dr. Lemons was not a preferred in-network provider and that is why my insurance didn't cover the costs as was expected. I explained to her that I would not have gone to see Dr. Lemons had I known he wasn't in-network and that is why I specifically asked before scheduling the appointment. She told me that I still needed to pay that I should've checked myself with my insurance company. I told her that I did check when I asked their employee was told he was and I, as a consumer should be able to trust what his employee said. She would still not budge on the matter so I told her that I would like the manager to call me. The manager called and I explained my situation and she said she would talk to Dr. Lemons and get back to me. Today she called and told me that Dr. Lemons said I still needed to pay the amount owed regardless of what his employee had told me. I promptly paid the bill and now will be posting my experience on all social media platforms to warn my fellow consumers to not trust what his office says about him being an in-network provider on your insurance plan and that you should check for yourself. I have canceled all of my future appointments and will switch to a dental practice that will honor what their employees tell their clients.
