Madonna's is small, but super convenient. It's basically a pull-up situation the guy comes right out, takes your order, and brings it to you. Friendly, quick, no need to get out of the car (which I LOVE). What really got me though? The price is good better than some of the bigger spots nearby, and they actually have what you're looking for. So all this time we've been going past them... for what? Only downside, the drive-through setup is a little awkward. Your can easily drive my the entrance. You kinda have to come from a certain direction or it's a pain to get in. Overall: Small spot, better prices, super convenient. Definitely moving this into regular rotation lesson learned, stop overlooking the little guys.

Called ahead and they told us it would be in the next morning. I'm thinking... okay, we'll see. Pulled up at 9 AM and they actually had it. They didn't get much in like the person stated. Snagged a 30 pack for $29.99, which was a win. Now here's the part I was NOT prepared for!! As soon as we walked in, a very large cat came strolling from the back like it owned the place I'm terrified of cats AND allergic, so I immediately turned right back around. Had a whole moment at the door trying to gather myself lol. The cat was definitely friendly... but yeah, that threw me all the way off. Eventually I made my way in, got it together, and completed my purchase. Outside of my unexpected cat encounter, the store itself is solid good size, nice beer selection, snacks, lottery, ATM, all that. The guy at the counter was super friendly and engaging too. Overall: They had exactly what they said they would, which I appreciate. Fairway is a great small business with some of the friendliest owners you will ever meet. I think I told them my name once a long time ago, and they address me by it every time I come in. They are also very knowledgeable about beer. They will give you recommendations, release dates, etc. They will even offer to text or call you when a particular beer you are looking for arrives. The store is a small space, but they make the most out of it. They always have a wide variety of craft beers both local and from afar. If they don't have what you want, they will make an effort to get it for you, or help you find it some where. It might seem like you're walking through stacks of randomly placed beers, but after a couple visits you get a good feel for what types of beer are at what locations in the store. They also sell lottery tickets, which seems to pretty popular among the other patrons I see. Overall, Fairway is a great place for beer drinkers who you will feel good about giving patronage too.

But in its multiple locations its definitely evolved from the tiny corner store that's a beer and sandwich haven, to several places that deliver the same in a much larger package. But when it comes down to both deli counter and beer selection, the Roxborough location might just be my favorite, and not just because it also let me scoop out some popcorn to go during non-Covid-19 times. Even in the slightly larger NoLibs location, past Foodery locations have boldly crammed specialty groceries, a deli counter, and fridges stocked with ALL THE BEERS into some seriously crammed situations. But that isn't a problem in this one which is by far the largest I've seen (without setting foot in the Phoenixville one yet). Because of that everything is placed in areas that make sense while also tossing in things like a section for large bottles, ALL THE SNACKS, and an impressive growler fill station. My favorite sandwich is definitely the Diablo with its buffalo chicken, pepper jack cheese, avocado, and chipotle mayo that delivers a spicy kick that doesn't border on overkill. But I've also enjoyed the Hot Toastee with its tavern ham, swiss cheese, honey mustard, apple, and pecans on a toasted sourdough.
