Omg! So this place was an amazing surprise. 100% just stopped because it was on the way to a party. They have an AMAZING array of ciders! I pulled up hoping they would at least have one kind I liked and walked out wanting to buy a ton of things. I bought 3 cases. The botanical cider we got is amazing. read more

What a great neighborhood resource. Love this crew and love the vibe. Funky. Got a bit of an old Philly feel to it. Ordering for delivery is the best! I tip 5 bucks and need to find out if that is generous enough for the convenience it offers. Good prices too. I'm a stoner senior citizen who loves me by cheap lagers. In fact, the last pull on the PAX just kicked in, so I'm signing off. read more

Not being a Philadelphia native, the whole "beer distributor" thing used to intimidate and confuse me--probably didn't help that I got yelled at for walking into a walk-in freezer at a distributor in University City. East Falls Beverage, however, could not be more different! Everyone is friendly and willing to discuss selection with even a relatively novice connoisseur (but expert consumer, hahaha) like me. They have a great variety of multi-packs, which is great because I love trying new things. At the same time, there is an ample supply of the basics, plus a number of great imports. It's the perfect stop on the way home from work, starting off a long weekend! P.S. John, get more cases of the Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold, and you'll be my hero... read more

Under new management! We wandered in tonight and HALLELUJAH!!!! Variety packs galore and icy cold, no less. MMMMMMM My beer prayers have been answered. The new guy and his new employee were anxious to introduce themselves and shake our hands and I am overjoyed to welcome them to the neighborhood, as they come bearing a way better beer selection than this place had before. read more

Owner John is friendly and fantastic! I moved away from the area about a year ago and I just called to place a special order of Australian beer. He remembered me and ordered it right away. This place really has improved! If you are looking for local craft beers by the case or keg East Falls Beverage is the place to go. I still can't believe the selection they have. The new owner shook my hand too and now we are on first name basis. Keep up the great work! As far as delivery goes, I prefer to shop there as they seem to have new unique brands in every week. I'm hoping they got more Abita Purple Haze in this week! read more

Even though i'm a PA native, every time I travel to new york...or really any other state, the concept of beer distributors and liquor stores becomes even that more ridiculous. That being said, east falls beverage is about as good as it gets in terms of buying cases of beer. They have an entire wall of microbrews, and always have some delicious micro on sale. If not, they always price their yards brews at ~$30 which is a decent price. The owner or manager, not sure what he is, but is friendly and helpful. I always look forward to what new micro they have in stock, i'm really looking forward to what their holiday selection brings. Highly recommended. read more
