It took a few minutes to be prepared, and while I waited, I looked at all the knickknacks around the store. I stopped in here for a quick coffee after leaving the Southland Farmers Market and I will absolutely be back. Not only was the coffee great (Lavendar Latte) but the service was kind and the place had such a cool quirky unique vibe. I also noticed that there were several employees working who were disabled and that made my heart very happy as I work with children and adults with disabilities and often find it is very difficult for them to find work. I have been here several times due to the nature of their mission. Love the sandwiches, but it's a little expensive. The service was of course slow but I had anticipated that already. There is no ambience. The owner has tried to make it twirky, but it's not hit the mark yet. Hopefully, they will get food quality, service, and ambience all on board. read more

What a fun eclectic coffee shop! I was excited to check out this place and pick up a couple of lattes. It's an experience just to walk through and see the decorations. All of the workers were very friendly and helpful which made the experience even more meaningful. I recommend picking up a coffee here if you were in the area. I'm so glad I finally got to try this place, as I had been anxiously awaiting their opening! I love the atmosphere. Lots of eclectic decor and cozy places to post up. Love the mission as well. You can feel the love when you walk in the door! I got the autumn harvest latte (hazelnut & caramel) and it was AMAZING UPDATE: I just realized they have a great sensory friendly "chill" area in the back. The love increases UPDATE AGAIN: We took 10 of our memory care residents out for hot chocolates. The service was amazing. A manager gave us a gift card when we walked in to help cover our costs. Stopped in here to grab a coffee to walk around the Farmer's Market with. I love they employ adults with special needs here and offer such an inclusive workplace. I ordered a white mocha latte to-go which was hot, fresh and delicious. The flavor was spot on and wasn't too sweet. The staff working was very friendly and I enjoyed chatting with them while waiting for my drink. They also have lots of interesting art work and decor inside. I've been here several times and it is definitely worth a visit. The place is overflowing with fairly random items (all of which are for sale, so what's there also continues to change). This allows PLENTY to look at, but also makes it environment feel more chaotic than many coffeeshops and some of the seating is odd and not very comfortable. The coffee has been good, but definitely not as good as it is as many other local places. Prices are very reasonable though, and the staff has always been extremely friendly and helpful. read more

McLeod's Coffee House is a great addition to Southland Drive businesses. I was driving through the area a few weeks ago noticed the sign, and finally came in to try the coffee this week! First of all, the atmosphere is really neat, lots of local art and cool things to look at are placed around the seating area. My favorite was the ceiling fixture made out of old globes into hanging lamps. I ordered a plain brewed coffee for $2.50 (16oz). They had choice of light or dark roast. I chose light and it was pretty good. I think prices are very fair and a little cheaper than other local places. It seemed to be a popular place to hang out, as there were many people sitting at tables socializing. I will definitely be back! read more

By God's intersections in life, my husband and I ended up McLeods for coffee. It was an amazing experience. The coffee is some of the best I have ever had, and the atmosphere in that space is so special. You feel it as soon as you walk in there. So friendly and welcoming. We were excited walking up to the building and seeing the giant Ferris wheel in the front window. The art and eclectic style of the decor makes it visually appealing and interesting. We were from out of town but the friendly greeting from Brewster made us feel right at home. The coffee was delicious and very smooth. Definitely recommend trying this amazing coffee shop! Amazing service...primarily by "Handi-capable" men and women who greet you with a smile and a warm welcome the minute you walk in the door. Love the eclectic furnishings-most if which are available for sale. Donations keep the VIPs employed and they have a huge glass jar for coins, cash, or checks to help keep the doors open.
