Our group stopped here for a quick bite before a distillery tour nearby. Service was excellent and the prices were fair. We were hoping for a more substantial menu, but for the most part we made due. Menu items are premade, so they cannot be altered (I.e. no onions in a burrito), so keep that in mind. Our coffee was good and they offered a large variety of pastries. Leestown had a list of all ingredients in the pastries for customers to see. I did appreciate this service. I would have like a mug. What a fun little coffee house! Prompt and friendly service where you order at the counter before sitting (they also have a drive thru). They have a great variety of muffins, bagels, croissants, and more, if your tummy is grumbly. If I had to drink one beverage the rest of my life, it would be Leestown Coffee cold brew (with pistachio cold foam). They are constantly tinkering and making new drinks, flavors, etc. It is everything you want from a coffee shop. The service and staff are great. Not only do they make killer drinks but they are kind and helpful. Also surprisingly quick. I don't know how, but they keep that drive thru rolling. My digestive health would suffer, but I would be satisfied with my choice of Leestown coffee as my singular beverage (unless it's that kids book rip off of King Midas, where he turns everything he touches into chocolate (water to chocolate milk) and then turns his mom into chocolate. I'm 60/40 on accepting the power of turning things into Leestown coffee, even knowing my mother would be a sentient puddle of espresso). All that to say. Love Your Latte event is Great! Hubby went with me to sample the scone. I got the Red Velvet latte iced, he chose the iced Hazelnut latte, and we ordered the Blueberry Lemon scone. It was not crowded so we decided to eat inside. Hubby said that the brown leather sofa was quite comfortable! The scone had a light glaze, plenty of blueberries, and was delicious. Rolled through today as part of a Yelp Elite event and was not disappointed. The event provided a free small red velvet latte, so we tried that, and also got a large with oat milk. Both were tasty. In fact, they were so good, we went and got a strawberry cheesecake macha and it was also delicious. Grabbed a lemon blueberry scone to round it off. Keep your eyes peeled for this much-needed, brand-new coffee house off Leestown Road! You may just miss it -- and miss out on a delicious drink. Although the parking lot is small, and there's a drive-thru available, you can go in and order your coffee. No indoor seating available yet (although the space is there for it to happen when that happens). The three employees working behind the counter at the time I went in (early December Tuesday afternoon) were very friendly and accommodating. They shared with me that they just opened a few months ago in the midst of all the COVID craziness. Impressive! I opted for one of their seasonal drinks: A Gingerbread latte with oat milk (which is their only non-dairy milk option). They hand-make everything right in front of you with care and guess what? It. Was. DELICIOUS. Probably the best seasonal coffee concoction I've had! It had just the right amount of coffee flavor, gingerbread flavor, and milk. Just an amazing cup of warmth and cheer! Brand new local coffee house in Lexington! Don't miss out on this amazing place. They have a parking lot at the back of the coffee house too. They also have a drive-through which is very convenient. I haven't been to any local coffee houses in Lexington with a drive-through. So that's a plus. When I went in, it was run by the owners- a cute couple. They were very friendly and always willing to answer any questions I asked. The biggest plus for me was that they are able to customize the drink any way you want. If it's not available, don't feel shy to ask them about it and I am sure they can do something about it. The willingness to experiment definitely makes this coffee house a 5-star place. All the ingredients are locally-sourced too. Currently due to COVID, there is no in-house drinking/eating. A great new coffee shop in Lexington! True to its name, this place on Leestown Road is not to be missed! I stopped in this week and ordered a golden turmeric latte with oat milk and it was not only delicious but beautiful as well! They also offer a selection of pastries from Franks Doughnuts and Good Foods Coop. There is easy parking at the front and behind the building if you would like to order inside- however they do a have a drive through as well which is rare for a small coffee place. Right now there is no indoor seating, however they do have the space for it and plan to add tables and chairs when COVID restrictions allow. One of my favorite features is their "pay it forward" coffee wall, which is such a nice reminder of kindness. I will definitely be back for another golden latte! read more

We were staying in Lexington for a few days and needed more than just the coffee pot. Leestown Coffee had a 5 star review so we decided to"why not"! The coffee did not disappoint! It has charm inside and a drive thru outside that was wrapped around the building! I had the Dulch De Leche hot and it was perfect! We also ordered the Turtle Mocha Hot and an iced Chocolate Waffle. Man do I feel loyal to Leestown Coffee now. They were soooo friendly, willing to make anything I wanted. They were knowledgeable of their products, the bakeries where they get items from. They have lots of options and are creative with the specials menu. I had scones and a red velvet macchiato(half sweet). The drink was so delicious and pretty!!! I have been wanting to go back for it! I normally stick to americanos, lattes, breves... espresso base. I do not like how much sugar flavours have, but this was such a pleasant experience and truly was better than I was expecting (just bc I ordered something that was a stretch for me). The inside was clean and had nice seating options. The drive through option is great! It was SO pleasant seeing how well the staff worked together and how kind they were to one another, and to me. They worked to produce quick drinks. They didn't seem stressed though, which I love for them. The stress is never worth it :) They also have several community focuses- so sweet! I tried the new coffee house today, and I must say so far I'm disappointed. I tried a large vanilla cold brew with cream and it was meh. I did not think the flavor was very good. I would choose Starbucks over this particular item. I'll come back and try at least one more thing. In response to the reply: I like a strong flavor and I never add sweetener to my drinks at Starbucks - so by definition this should be a flavor I enjoy. From Starbucks I usually order the cold brew with no sweetener and add cream. read more

I can't say enough great things about this place. I work right down the street, so I often get here twice a week. I'm typically a black coffee only type person, but this place has also blown every cappuccino and latte that I've ordered out of the water! The foam their baristas can make with skim milk is unlike any other place. Their cocoa bear syrup is what i get in my cappuccinos the most, and i also recommend their French toast syrup as well. Dropping by Leestown again, I find this place is usually pretty busy. Notably, the drive-through area backs up and it's hard to actually get out of there if it's busy. I can see why though. The watermelon mint matcha I ordered delivered a robust flavor mix. Of course, the bitterness of matcha was just an excuse for me to peruse their spread of baked goods, and settle on a chocolate Nutella pop tart sort of a thing. The two went very well together. The drinks are quality, and they know what's in them and can do dairy-free options for those that need them. Today as I was looking at my email, I was reminded that I had an event that I had to attend and this Coffee House. I nearly forgot until I looked at my phone that said I had a reminder to get to this event today. And let me tell you I am SO Glad that I did. So when you are driving on Leestown Road, its easy to pass right by the Coffee House because its on the left hand side and hear I am thinking its right by Jimmy Johns. But anyways I noticed that it was on the right side, so I drove into the parking lot and headed inside. As soon as I got in, I was given a very warm welcome by the 3 people who were behind the counter. Told them I was here to attend the Yelp Experience Event and proceeded to tell me about how the shop was started and when. The owner introduced himself to me and began telling me that this Coffee House started in October 2020 And that the 3 of them that worked there only lived across the street. Thats nice that it was a very convenient place top work, especially with how close they live. So I proceeded to ask about what options I had available to me and, I was told that I could get a cup of Coffee and a Scone. Well being that I just finished eating before I stopped in to get a cup of Coffee, I was full and didnt have any room for the scone. However there were a couple of nice things that grabbed my attention. They had donuts, scones, and Bagels. So if I had room for any of those, the Donuts and the Bagels certainly looked good. Being that I had never had a Scone, i didnt want to choose that, but that was my own personal preference. So the owner made me an Iced Mocha Frap and let me tell you, as soon as I tasted it, I knew that the Chocolate was homemade. The chocolate was certainly a very dark chocolate and it was really tasty. Both of the ladies that were employees and the owner were really friendly. Told them as I was leaving that I would be back. The one really cool thing that caught my attention is that the Coffee House had been given a 100% Health Inspection by the Health Department. My first time here and it was such a great experience! The owner was in-house and I was able to talk with him about his plans for the future of the little coffee shop. I hope that things pick up for a small, local coffee shops so that they can expand on their plans for growth. I got a caramel sauce cortado with oat milk! I still dream about this orange vanilla matcha and jalapeño cheddar bagel.... I visited my friend in KY a couple of weeks ago and this was one of the local spots she said we just had to try. The workers were so kind and helpful with their recommendations. The interior was spacious and decorated nicely - just like you'd expect a coffee house to look like. They were very friendly and told me about some of their more popular drinks, how they started the shop, and where they got their beans. They were so friendly and nice to chat with.
