We came Friday morning while it was busy and everything came out perfectly! It was so nice to sit in their outdoor space while we ate. Such good flavors for coffee and for bagels!

I was absolutely floored with how well run Grounded All Day Cafe is. They ask you if you have eaten there before and if you haven't they give you a full run down of where the bagels are sourced - spoiler they fly them in from New York, and they make their own cream cheeses. The staff lets you try any and all the homemade cream cheeses you want. They were all so unique and delicious. They have seating and parking which is a plus. The atmosphere is very cute overall. They have seating in the back if you opt to bring your laptop and study or work it is secluded enough around in the back to do that. The coffee was wonderful as well. We tried some sort of smores latte along with their breeze iced tea. Overall great experience and I've already been back twice since going my first time last week! A quick addition to my list of staple places in my rotation!

Lovely spot for coffee, bagel sandwiches, and even some alcohol choices. Friendly staff to help. Spacious outside seating and there are a few tables and lounge chairs inside. Husband enjoyed the cortado. I had a specialty cold brew and it was delightful.

This place was an unexpected surprise on our recent visit to Lexington KY to have breakfast bagels. Once the staff realized we were not local, they gave us samples of all of their cream cheese spreads - IIRC, there were 8, all well done. The staff was very welcoming and helpful with the menu and we needed up going back the next morning before we left Lexington for VA. My wife has a picky palette when it comes to coffee and she loved her Lattes. They have an outdoor area as well so it's also very family friendly. We will be going back when we're in the area.

Called in an order! They had my bagel ready and even if I had got there a few mines late they added the ice and cold form to my drink when I got there they explained that they want me to get the drink to the freshest standards! The bagel was delicious !!! And the environment and employees are always so welcoming! Every visit here is great, whether I'm by myself, or with my child there always something fun go on here. Their out door area is so nice and inviting to spend an afternoon outdoors!

Happened past Grounded All Day Cafe and decided to stop in for a morning drink. They make all of their syrups in house as well as the cream cheeses. They also order all bagels in from New York! Emma helped us at the counter, was very nice and offered us samples of the Bacon Pepper Jam and Blackberry Lavender cream cheese. Both great! This trip we ordered drinks only: lavender latte and chai tea latte. It took a bit for drinks to be turned around. Once we got them, the lavender latte tasted like a darker roast and not much of a lavender taste. The chai tea latte was on the sweeter side. This business seems newer to the area and working out some kinks but has a promising future ahead of them!

What an amazing coffee shop! I am now working in the area and went on a hunt for a coffee shop with a great atmosphere, relaxing vibe, room to pull out a laptop and get some work done, and food options. BUT it gets better!! They have vegan food options! I enjoyed immensely the vegan bagel sandwich (and yes ... vegan cream cheese!)! I will be back. Probably way too often!

Grounded is a fantastic cafe staple in town! I was visiting and was shown this place by the people we were staying with. It's one of their favorites for craft coffees and their bagel sandwiches. It has the feeling of a small, local shop with the modern feel of a coffee shop you want to sit at all day to get your work done. Everyone was very welcoming and explained the menu to me. They make their spreads in house, which are unique and delicious. It took a little while longer for the bagels to be made than I thought. Other than that, it was a great shop with great food!

What an amazing find! This little gem stood out on my visit to Kentucky. I ordered a white mocha latte and it was incredible. The service, the conversation, the ambience is *chefs kiss*. If you're considering stopping by, you will feel right at home once you walk in the door and trust me, you'll be back

My mom found this place on Yelp the other day looking for dog friendly places. So we decided to take the pup and kids (4and 6) for lunch today. The bagel sandwiches were absolutely delicious! Such unique flavors! The coffee drinks were also really great. We both had the Carmel rapper cold brew and I had the everything bagel with kicking chicken and its fig jam per the barista recommendation. I loved it! The whole place was really fun and clean and we loved the whole vibe. Everyone we encountered was super nice and helpful with menu. We also met the owner who helped us get our order to the table. My son is in a wheelchair and we struggled a bit to get to the back (no ramp) but we eventually got everything back there. We will definitely be back!

Took 10 minutes to get cold coffee. Bagels "flown in from queens" were of poor quality. Staff was unfriendly. Will not return.

Food was tasty. You order at the counter. Neat space-open and bright. Took time to get food but I thought it was worth it.

Over the years we have travel a lot and spent a lot of time in Lexington, KY. One of my favorite…read moreeateries is Ramsay's Diner. Nestled just off Leestown Road in the vibrant Masterson Station neighborhood, Ramsey's Diner is much more than a casual eatery -- it's a go-to destination for Southern comfort with a creative twist. From the moment you step inside, the diner's welcoming charm and laid-back atmosphere set the tone for a truly enjoyable meal. Familiar friendly faces at the door and a buzz of diners chatting over hearty plates make it feel like a beloved local secret worth sharing. We begin our meal with appetizers that are generous in flavor and unmistakably Southern: * Fried Green Tomatoes: Crispy, tangy, and perfectly seasoned -- an ideal opener that dances between crisp exterior and tender interior. * Fried Banana Peppers: A playful crunch with a subtle heat that whets the appetite for bigger bites to come. * Chicken Noodle Soup (Soup of the Day): A comforting, soul-warming starter that tastes like it came straight from grandma's kitchen. Service here is as warm as the food: servers move with a welcoming attentiveness that makes you feel both valued and at ease. Ramsey's entrees are where this place truly shines, showcasing Southern comfort classics elevated with care: I had the Cajun Catfish Dinner: Perfectly seasoned and served with creamy sides, this dish is a standout favorite among regulars -- bold yet balanced. My wife went with the Buffalo Chicken Dinner, A beautiful marriage of heat and harmony; spicy but not overpowering, paired with mashed potatoes and Parmesan fried corn cob. Portions are generous without feeling excessive, and the diner's all-day breakfast offerings -- including classics like fully loaded plates of eggs, meats, and pancakes -- are consistently praised by many of our friends that live in the area. They also feature several decadent desserts that are always worth saving room for, and no visit is complete without dessert, and Ramsey's menu doesn't disappoint: I went with the Butterscotch Pie: A gooey, buttery slice that strikes the perfect balance of sweet richness. My wife had the Cheesecake with Strawberry Swirl: A luscious finish -- creamy, tangy, and beautifully bright. Another good option is the Brownie Pie with Ice Cream: Chocolatey and indulgent, this classic is elevated by its cool, velvety partner. While Ramsey's isn't a cocktail bar per se, their drink offerings -- from homestyle fountain sodas to thoughtfully selected beverages -- pair wonderfully with the menu's bold flavors. During special events like Lexington Restaurant Week, you'll even find inventive additions like a Maker's Peach Rosemary Sour that brings a refreshing, aromatic finish to a rich meal. The diner's ambience strikes a perfect balance between casual comfort and lively community spot. Big, bright windows let in natural light, and the enclosed patio offers a breezy alternative on pleasant days. Patrons frequently describe the staff as attentive, personable, and genuinely invested in your dining experience -- creating that rare sense of being treated more like a guest than a customer. The décor and vibe reflect the welcoming spirit of Masterson Station: relaxed, familiar, and unpretentious -- perfect for family dinners, casual date nights, or a comforting solo meal. The reputation and community presence here run deep -- from dedicated regulars who know their favorite booth to local fundraising efforts that reflect the diner's heart. The blend of remarkable comfort food, friendly service, and a down-home atmosphere makes Ramsey's more than a meal -- it's an experience that stays with you long after dessert is gone. We Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore authentic Southern flavors with a smile on the side.
