Stopped in at this winery that I've been noticing every day on my commute out of Escalon and a little upset I didn't stop sooner. We were immediately greeted by one of the stewards the second we walked up to the door. He greeted us with warmth and great enthusiasm. When we entered we couldn't help but notice the beautiful architecture of the buildings and the rustic decor. It gave off a great amount of warmth mixed with some extra coziness. We decided to sit inside although the fire pits outside beckoned my name for future visits. They had a great selection of wines and the stewards were all very welcoming and knowledgeable. Lisa was amazing and so very attentive to us the entire time. We loved that you could also visit the onsite market to grab items to munch on. You can personalize your own charcuterie board to enjoy with your wine. We loved our visit here so much that we decided to become members and will definitely be making many more visits ahead! The clientele "regulars" can often indicate what you're walking in to, and the fact that I was greeted by patrons before even hitting the bar area, I knew I'd made the right choice. Sat down and tried a glass of both the Sauvignon blanc and Cabernet, and got to listen in on candid convos around me. For someone that goes many places on my own, the vibe of a location is always one of the first things that stands out to me. Both Steve and Taylor were attentive and friendly, and there's a lot of personality behind the bar. Feel like I've found a new place I can pop into for an hour or two after work at the end of the week. (Listening to the rain pound against the tin roof added to the evening ambiance of course!) This place I loved everything I tried. The vibes were so fun and they even have a wine tap wall. My favorite by far was the French Colombard. Sweet and perfect for a warm sunny day.
