The wine in a word.....ok two words....not good. Stay away, there are so many other good places.

The front doors are practically majestic. No appointment necessary, but there is not an actual tasting room, so they do not do tastings in house. All are welcome to peruse the wine list (see pic) & purchase bottles for home. Prices are beyond reasonable; $9 or 10 bucks a bottle, w the most expensive being $16. $120 is the average for a case, & if you buy a case there is a 10% discount. The Cabernet & the Pinot Noir have the largest following, & it is the Pinot Noir that is my personal choice. California is blessed w grapes, & we are lucky to have such easy access to so many quality wines. Unlike the majority of the country (& the world for that matter), we're part of that privileged few that have the luxury of drinking locally, instead of having to fly or order our wine from great & far. Location, location, location. 4 stars.

I came on a Saturday when they seemed to have A LOT going on that had staff moving in multiple directions, however, they never missed a beat! Lisa walked me through my tasting, and she was fantastic! While I don't know that the whites will ever make the journey home for me, some of the reds I tried were perfection. I went home with a bottle of Syrah (Josh's Starry Night) and the Montepulciano. I will definitely be back to explore more of their selection!

Stopped in at this winery that I've been noticing every day on my commute out of Escalon and a little upset I didn't stop sooner. We were immediately greeted by one of the stewards the second we walked up to the door. He greeted us with warmth and great enthusiasm. When we entered we couldn't help but notice the beautiful architecture of the buildings and the rustic decor. It gave off a great amount of warmth mixed with some extra coziness. We decided to sit inside although the fire pits outside beckoned my name for future visits. They had a great selection of wines and the stewards were all very welcoming and knowledgeable. Lisa was amazing and so very attentive to us the entire time. We loved that you could also visit the onsite market to grab items to munch on. You can personalize your own charcuterie board to enjoy with your wine. We loved our visit here so much that we decided to become members and will definitely be making many more visits ahead! We tasted, we loved, we committed!

During this particular visit, I was seeking out a certain percentage within a wine of 13% or less content. Into my luck at this location had two to choose from which range at a 13.5 but I wasn't too picky about the .5 lol! The lady that assisted us allowed me to taste one of the wines as it was already readily available and open, and the other choice that I chose to go with was not open, but was one of more of the sweeter red wines that they had. The pricing was really good as well as I paid under $20 for the particular wine. I am more of a white wine drinker, but I recently switched over to a red wine only due to watching my sugar intake. Very, very clean and nice establishment upon driving up parking and entering. I really like how they have the area set up with lots of items on display whether it's gifts or simply looking at each wine bottle or sitting down and having a tasting. There were also restrooms off to the side for those that are having a little bit more of a lengthy visit. Lots of selection to choose from and they are open daily for anyone that enjoys wine tasting if you just so happen to be traveling down the highway 99. I noticed that they are doing a lot of digging of holes around their establishment so they may be getting ready to plant more vines to establish more wine selection and or choices but I had forgotten to ask while there. But that does not prevent anyone from getting to their establishment and having a visit.

We were late to our reservation, however, one of the owners was so nice to accommodate. This was the most perfect day to be there for a first time or 5th time. weather was perfect. Outside pizza vendor was 1.5 hours out on orders. so we stopped in the little store and found excellent crackers and cheese to hold us off. I heard the Genoa bread was amazing from a Modesto bakery. But, sold out:( you pay for everything and the. Bring to your server and they put it all on a charcuterie board and bring to your table. I really enjoyed their Chardonnay on this rather hot day. People were dancing, drinking, eating and socializing. It was great! the wildflowers on the grounds are so beautiful! They have games to play. And dogs are welcome! Check out all my photos. I'm giving this 4 stars only because I think it's ridiculous to not be prepared and offer pizza as your only vendor and wait 1.5 hours knowing you are completely booked for the day. and, the pizza was really thin, hardly any cheese we could see or taste. Basil was less than appetizing to look at, but we were starving. So we ate every paste bite. I think it would have been nice to offer fresh Apples, pears or grapes in the store for the charcuterie boards. You have to try their soft Jalapeno cheese in the cold case!!! It was delish w/the crackers from Rustic oven. I loved the store... the 2 guys who do the treasures with grapevines are incredible. I can't wait to take a class. Parking is awesome if you can get under the covered area. Bathrooms are clean. This definitely is a must to visit. highly recommend:)

The grounds, buildings and tasting room are beautiful, a sophisticated rustic cabin appeal with manicured landscaping and a craftsman style main building. We stood at the main tasting bar to try four wines. The Chardonnay and especially fhe old vine Zinfandel stood out as excellent to us and we ended up getting some bottles. As there weren't many folks doing a tasting on a weekday we got VIP treatment and had a deljghtful conversation, and education about the wines, from the person pouring for us. We really enjoyed our stay and the surroundings made it extra nice. Compared to the hype of Napa and Sonoma this winery and others in the Lodi area are down to earth and affordable in comparison, especially for tastings. This place very much is worth a visit. Sitting outside to sip a bottle must be delightful too.

Treated us with respect and kindness the whole time we were there, this would be our first time going there. But the two ladies behind the bar !wow! talk about purposely making you feel unwelcome, giving us side eyes... like if they were above us. I didn't like or appreciate that kind of attitude towards ANYONE this is a business there are certain protocols that need to be followed, regardless. We weren't being disrespectful or loud! In my family We are taught very early on to be very RESPECTFUL. Anyways, I put my feelings aside and I didn't let the two females ruin MY day. We had a wonderful time, Because we chose to dust off the bad vibes. And make it a memorable day with my sisters and friends. I probably will be going somewhere else, the next time I want to do wine tasting again. IMPROVE; I would say maybe a lesson in bedside manners for the 2 ladies behind the counter. We too have all color friends. And welcome them with open arms. * I do want to say to our tour guide T you were so kind on Saturday. Thank you!
