Shockingly the price was not 5/7ths of what a tasting normally cost. If she had let us know from the start that they would cut off our wine tasting before finishing, we would not have joined them at evening and come another time. Or if she had to give less time between the pours so we could be out right at the 5:00 closing time then we also would have understood. But instead no heads up, at her mercy of the timing of the pours, and didn't get to finish the tasting that we paid for. Rip off!

The front doors are practically majestic. No appointment necessary, but there is not an actual tasting room, so they do not do tastings in house. All are welcome to peruse the wine list (see pic) & purchase bottles for home. Prices are beyond reasonable; $9 or 10 bucks a bottle, w the most expensive being $16. $120 is the average for a case, & if you buy a case there is a 10% discount. The Cabernet & the Pinot Noir have the largest following, & it is the Pinot Noir that is my personal choice. California is blessed w grapes, & we are lucky to have such easy access to so many quality wines. Unlike the majority of the country (& the world for that matter), we're part of that privileged few that have the luxury of drinking locally, instead of having to fly or order our wine from great & far. While I don't know that the whites will ever make the journey home for me, some of the reds I tried were perfection. I went home with a bottle of Syrah (Josh's Starry Night) and the Montepulciano. Stopped in at this winery that I've been noticing every day on my commute out of Escalon and a little upset I didn't stop sooner. We were immediately greeted by one of the stewards the second we walked up to the door. He greeted us with warmth and great enthusiasm. When we entered we couldn't help but notice the beautiful architecture of the buildings and the rustic decor. It gave off a great amount of warmth mixed with some extra coziness. We decided to sit inside although the fire pits outside beckoned my name for future visits. They had a great selection of wines and the stewards were all very welcoming and knowledgeable. Lisa was amazing and so very attentive to us the entire time. We loved that you could also visit the onsite market to grab items to munch on. You can personalize your own charcuterie board to enjoy with your wine. We loved our visit here so much that we decided to become members and will definitely be making many more visits ahead! This place I loved everything I tried. The vibes were so fun and they even have a wine tap wall. My favorite by far was the French Colombard. Sweet and perfect for a warm sunny day. It's out in Tracy, not much around but if you need a fun trip with the girls check it out and see if they are doing an event. Highly recommend.

As there weren't many folks doing a tasting on a weekday we got VIP treatment and had a deljghtful conversation, and education about the wines, from the person pouring for us. We really enjoyed our stay and the surroundings made it extra nice. Compared to the hype of Napa and Sonoma this winery and others in the Lodi area are down to earth and affordable in comparison, especially for tastings. This place very much is worth a visit.
