I attended SK Hira Vineyards in R&B Brunch. This was an incredibly fun time! Cute little outdoor area, DJ, great tasting room. Usually I have some wines I like and some I could do without. This place I loved everything I tried. The vibes were so fun and they even have a wine tap wall. My favorite by far was the French Colombard. Sweet and perfect for a warm sunny day. It's out in Tracy, not much around but if you need a fun trip with the girls check it out and see if they are doing an event. Highly recommend. read more

Nice winery in Tracy! Great for girls night, date night all types of events can happen here. Lots of open space to have wine in different environments( inside, outside, grass, patio). Emily and Erin were our hostess and they were amazing. Emily explained all the wines and gave great energy. There wasn't a lot of people so we appreciated the one on one. Sunday's they have mimosa flights, so I'm looking forward to going on a Sunday! We did more of the white wine flight which was delightful. Ended up taking some bottles home! Will be coming back! Food-mini charcuterie board is available.Cheese in it was amazing. Would prefer one without salami since for myself I don't eat it! So options for everyone. I'd heard about this winery in Tracy but I wasn't sure if we needed a reservation. I called ahead and the gal was super friendly and said we could walk-in. My husband and I quickly ate dinner and were out the door. Coming out to this part of Tracy was new for me. The balloons out front were a good marker but we also weren't sure so we passed right by it and turned back lol They just officially opened yesterday!!! How exciting! We were greeted by Monique, the owner. The tasting room was small but intimate. All seats were occupied. But that's okay b/c I wanted to sit outside. We were directed to the back room where we were greeted by Katrina. She's a friendly gal! They have a large back room with plenty of tables and then the outdoor area with additional seating. Maybe it's just me but I liked that while we were there, we were the only ones outside. Monique brought our wine flights. I personally liked the 2020 Chardonnay. They also had a cute QR code design for their other wines you could order. I know they're just starting out but I would love to see a sparkling wine make it onto the flight menu. I love bubbles. Later she returned to chat with us. There's only been a handful of times in my life where the owner has taken the time to come to our table to chat with us. I really liked that she's getting to know the community and took the time to talk with us. Katrina came out too and frequently checked on us to see if we needed anything. Monique's mom even came to meet us, shook our hands and also chatted with us. Wow! The mom told us they named the winery after her mother who had passed. As I was listening to her, I was imagining my mom. I don't know what I'd do without my mom. Moms are so so special so I love that they're honoring her mom in this way. Inside the large room, they have a set up in the works for a self-pour wine. They said next year it will make its debut! So I look forward to this! I was eyeing the charcuterie on the menu. We had just finished dinner so we will definitely need to try that next time! Overall, we had a relaxing time here and I look forward to coming again. read more

went here on a friday to catch an 80s cover band. the venue is small but pretty good and cozy, the Syrah was great but this review is mainly for the band they had playing in what was supposed to be a live music show, but may have actually been a war crime in the key of WTF. The band, "on the rocks" delivered an unforgettable performance--in the same way food poisoning is unforgettable. Let's start with the sound mixing, which was clearly done by a comatose raccoon with a grudge. The bass was hardly audible than my quiet farts, the guitar sounded like they were being played with amps on old batteries and the drummer was the only decent performer Now, the lead singer had a voice that could only be described as "a car engine being strangled with jumper cables." Every note sounded like it was losing a custody battle. Imagine a dying fax machine trying to hit high notes while falling down a flight of stairs. That. But louder. much louder Enter the backup singer, who seemed to be in a completely different key, time zone, and mental state. He sounded like a man who just woke up in Denny's parking lot with no memory, no pants, and half a bottle of NyQuil still in his system. This is such a great spot to go wine taste! They respond quickly to emails and usually you can walk in but we make reservations for larger groups. This was our third time stopping by and it was wonderful as usual. They have a great brut and sparkling rose as well as Cabernet Sauvignon. The menu has a alot of variety for each palate! Always greets you with a smile and even if they're busy, she tries to come around to check on everyone They offer charcuterie pre- ordered and events with food trucks and live music ! What a lovely vineyard! I had the pleasure of using it for my daughter's fifth birthday party. The guests loved the wine and the cozy atmosphere, while the kids had a blast with the magic show in the backyard. The vineyard staff provided excellent service, and the wine was top-notch for the adults. We appreciated every detail and thank you for being so accommodating with our budget and special requests. It is so nice to finally have a beautiful cozy winery here in town that we can all relax and enjoy each other's company at. They have a nice tasting room & large tap room, but in addition they also have a large outdoor area with plenty of seating. I am a wine snob and their Cabernet Sauvignon & Syrah are my absolute favorites. They sell Charcuterie Boxes on the daily as well as some other basic snacks, should you want something to go with your wine. The owner, Monique is amazing and such a sweet person. For me, a lot of my reviews are most often centered around experience first and foremost. Did I absolutely love every single wine I tried? No... But I did enjoy each of them. My favorite was probably my glass of Syrah, but I also enjoyed the Chardonnay that was in the flight. I'd go back without hesitation to try new flights. I'm excited to see that a winery has opened back up out here and look forward to coming out in order to decompress and relax! I would be equally as content grabbing a glass and heading out to the patio with a book. Monique is incredibly personable and has a positive energy that reminds you to sit back, relax, and just laugh. She also shared some thoughts of her hope for future plans with the space, so that growth will be something to look forward to. There is one of my favorite places to be in Tracy, my own little piece heaven on earth. If you haven't experienced SK Hira yet, at least come for the views. Everything about this location is picturesque, from the wooden accent archways and doors, to the cellar that opens up to the quaint courtyard, with the ever changing sky in the background, that always seems to have a few puffs of clouds, it is perfect. A breath of fresh air is what I get upon arrival, and not to mention the wine... I fancy myself a bottle of Sparkling Rose on most days accompanied by their guava ice cubes, especially in the warmth of summer, but the Springy Grenache Blanc is a new fav. You don't have to take my word for it, go for the tasting and you can decide yourself. If you decide to come on a late spring day or early summer afternoon, bring your sun hat and a picnic or order the charcuterie box for a little nibble. You'll soon forget your in Tracy. One of the best wine tasting experiences we have had in years. The venue is rustic and elegant, and the wines were all delicious. Such a hidden gem in Tracy. My pallet enjoyed all of the wines we tasted. The Grenache blanc was crisp and refreshing. The Cab was medium and smooth. The Petit Sarah was bold and danced on my tongue. I went to brunch with a friend in livermore and decided to swing by SK Hira on a whim. I wanted to try it because there aren't many places in livermore left that aren't super commercialized. The minute I walked in I was greeted by Monique. She was super friendly and was very genuine when asking about my likes and interest for the wine I was trying. I tried about 6 different wines and an additional few that were not part of the menu. She was testing a few wines that her winemaker had just brought to her with a few members and she included me since I was there alone. I had a great time and truly enjoyed the wines. I walked out of there with a bottle of my favorite but most of all I had a fantastic experience with the group that was there and Monique. This is now one of my favorite vineyards to have a wine tasting experience. I plan to visit here every time I travel to the area. I especially enjoyed the Chardonnay (dry, medium-bodied, with tastes of mango) and Syrah (sweet berry fruit flavors, with a spicy peppery note finish). Check out the beautifully designed QR code to see other wines you can order, after you try the tasting menu. The tasting room was popular and at capacity, but I was able to soak up the sun in the lovely back room and outdoor seating areas. I'm impressed by the owner (Monique), who provided a deep knowledge about the wines on the menu and made time to get to know each of my guests.
