What a fun pub! We sat out on the patio. It was very busy when we went. There was live music, a new beer being advertised (with free t-shirts),and a boisterous crowd. Yes it's loud. Yes there was a wait on the food. If you're in a hurry or looking for somewhere quiet go somewhere else. The food was SUPERB. We had the bruschetta as appetizers (very good). He had a burger- something along the line of 'the pub burger' which was quite good. I had the cheese steal sandwich. Side salads were fantastic- and I'm a bit of a salad snob! Don't ask for oil and vinegar- they give you straight white picking vinegar! The balsamic dressing was good. Dinner was great. Drink selection was ok for a pub- but we still found drinks we enjoyed. Had the summer steak and it was good. Came with pineapple tomato salsa and pita bread wedges. It was perfect for a smaller dinner. I asked for a steak with just a little pink in the middle and that is exactly how it came. Waitress Amanda was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I had the pistachio wee bite for dessert and it was also good. I recommend the skinny ginger for a drink. read more

Great spot for passing through Sioux Falls. Stopped there on a roadtrip with my GF. Service and outdoor space/ambience were excellent. Crazy Irish whiskey selection - I can honestly say I've never seen better in the US. Beer selection dull. Walleye sandwich was good - well done but a tiny but fishy. This was my first time visiting McNally's and I was not disappointed. The waiter, Dylan, was amazing! He was so patient since I didn't know the menu and the service was very quick! The martini the waiter suggested was amazing! And since I was there for happy hour it was half price! I wasn't super hungry so I got the Loaded Pub Chips appetizer and the Potato Leek soup. Both of them were delicious! The garganzola cheese and siracha were brilliant together. The potato soup was so creamy and delicious. I would definitely recommend going to McNallys! Sounded good, but we were really looking for food on a Saturday evening. Their walleye sandwich sounded great, so I called ahead before driving across town... 3 times, to ask how late the kitchen was open. Nobody answered, so we just drove over. We usually love Irish Pubs. However, this is just a SoDak average country bar. Too-loud Country singer yelling from an empty corner of the room, nobody working the door to answer questions, hodgepodge of drunk locals, just poor service all around. About to now drive clear back across town to find some food. Not cool! read more

We came on a Sunday with a big group after an Irish Dance recital, keeping with the Irish Theme. I understand that's the only night kids can get in by law. We needed separate checks and the server handled everything as well as anyone I ever had in a restaurant. Food was top notch. Server even came around and announced last call for Happy Hour giving everyone a chance to reorder drinks. When I get the chance to come back to Sioux Falls I am coming back to this pub and I hope I get the same server. (I never heard her name!) read more

I fully rescind my previous review. We gave this place another shot and it did not disappoint! Delicious food, live music! What else could you want? Definitely will come back!!! Didn't even eat here. Finally got a date night with my husband. We walked into McNallys hoping to get a decent meal and drinks. It was pretty busy but not overwhelmingly so. Wasn't sure if we were supposed to seat ourselves or wait for a server. No sign and no one at the door to greet customers. We tried to ask a few servers but they were in too much of a hurry to acknowledge our existence. I counted six servers that raced by us before we could even finish a question. We decided to walk out. Who knows what the food was like, but we didn't want to stick around-no food is worth crappy service. Disappointed. read more

Warm and welcoming, with leather seats and a fireplace. We were mostly there for beers (I recommend trying the Murphy's Irish Stout, or the Apple Guinness which is like a Black and Tan but with cider). We did order some nachos, which were made with homemade chips and shredded steak. Delicious. Plan on going back for dinner, and would highly recommend. read more

I've been here several times and I gave it a 3 Star for a few reasons. I've had a great lunch, walleye sandwich and good atmosphere. I had the same for dinner tonight and it was "fishy", two bites and I threw it in the garbage. I've had their Irish nachos, which are not good for you, but taste like a college kid put them together after the night at the bar. The atmosphere is a nice small Irish pub and it seems like a cook locals kind of hang out. Their food could use some attention and fine tuning. Not bad, not great. They should take a few pages out of the Irish pubs in Minneapolis. I'm just saying. read more

I've been to Mcnally's a number of times and had good service and good food. Tonight the food was terrible. We ordered an appetizer and a meal to share and both were very bad. When I had the waiter take the plates he didn't bother to ask if anything was wrong even though both plates were still full. Won't be back for anything other than drinks! read more

First off 21 or over only except on Sundays. I know alot of folks have a hard time understanding that. Best place in the State to get a proper Guinness poured. Great tasting Pub style Irish Food. McNallys Irish pub is a place that has always had great food. Because they allowed smoking all over the restaurant we were only able to go in the summer when the patio was open. Since SD enacted a smoking ban, we were able to dine inside on our last visit. I was not disappointed. My favorite is the Walleye. It is by far the best in town. Served with mashed potatoes and vegetables it is quality throughout. The servers have always been exceptionally efficient and friendly. Great place. read more

I had the lil lemon lime cocktail and it was what i expected. i also had the Irish nachos which were delicious! The meat was tender and savory. I really liked the decor and atmosphere of this place. Excellent friendly efficient staff. Dublin cheese steak was good for the hubby who also enjoyed the champs. I had the Guinness sliders which was just perfect for my smaller appetite. I keep going back to this place because the food is always what I expected. I have had OK service but the reason I come back is for the soups and pretty great mussels, I expect seafood to be frozen and that is what you get everywhere but the stout mussels are made well enough that you can forget about that. read more

Best bar experience ever. My friend and I got to sit in one of their semi private rooms to do our girl talking. Our waitress and bartender was fun and very easy to talk to. Went to dinner on Saturday night at McNally's. Our server was outstanding. We told her it was our first time eating there, and she did a great job of giving recommendations and checked on us constantly. Their Jameson Ginger drinks were amazing.
