If you want a place not to care AND damage your items, this is the place for you. I had items to be dry cleaned and they, without asking, heat pressed/glued bar codes in each item. When I discovered this, I researched it. Its more common these days and it make the cleaners job easier and saves then time and money while altering all your garments. The manager told me: "they did not know that I did not know..." such poor customer service. I went back and they pretended to not know what I was asking for. Then they removed the tags which left a glue spot the size of the tag. I asked for the glue to be removed and they said they would have to clean the items again at no charge. It looks like they tried to remove the glue on one item, damaging the wool fabric in the process. So they just cleaned everything, which did not remove the glue residue on the other items and did not say a word to me. The manager had an attitude and should not be in leadership. The washer in my rental house was broken for three weeks so I took my laundry here. It was handy and I didn't have much choice. It was not great. My clothes/towels came back reeking of detergent, a very strong scent that is overpowering. I gave them a second chance and they explained that the amount of detergent is "automatic" so that they couldn't change it but said that they could do an extra rinse. The clothes still reeked. I would never be able to stand that smell around me all the time. In fact I recently moved back to my own house and re-washed everything that came from McNatt's because of that smell. They need to figure out a way to get close clean without that strong detergent smell. I also didn't like that my underwear and socks came back in a bag inside out, not matched and not folded well. read more

I came here twice and it is truly a rip off. They don't tell you how much the product will be to clean it until you pick it up and they charge an outrageous amount to clean anything. Will never return. The staff were nice but then when you ask the price they were snippy. read more

I have been using this location exclusively for 5 years for suits/dress pants. Staff are prompt, polite, knowledgeable and the quality of cleaning has always been good. I have also had them re-sole my shoes twice (although that takes a couple of weeks, since the cobbler is not on site.) read more

I brought my 4 brand new panels of white linen drapery from RH to be pressed because they were wrinkled when came from the store, 3 of them had to be redone right away because they were stained, the one we brought back home first was fine, no shrinkage and no stains. Brought the other 3 back home today only to find out that they're all stained and burnt and also 2 of them shrunk, how's that possible? Same fabric, same cleaning process? Employees DO NOT state the prices to dry clean items, nor is an estimate listed on the handwritten ticket/receipt. $109 to clean 8 blouses and 4 pairs of pants! $8.29 to clean blouses and pants, $10.94 and for "simple sweaters." I called and spoke to two different people at the cleaners who gladly admitted that they don't provide any price information. You have to ask for it for an estimate. prices vary greatly based on the garment's label/brand (ostensibly); most always seems that any pieces with "big name designer" labels are billed at an exponentially higher rate compared to other garments (albeit often ones of equal if not higher cost/quality) with a more obscure/lesser known "designer" label - or none at all! Prices for exact same garments undergoing the exact same cleaning process time and time again also fluctuate considerably and without any semblance of rhyme or reason as to how and/or why. When asked about this glaring pricing discrepancy (arbitrariness, really), neither of the two staff members present could provide any logical or rational explanation for such a discrepancy. As it turns out, the true discrepancy existed between my expectation of high-quality, affordable dry cleaning services and the woefully misguided belief that McNatts would be such an establishment capable of meeting either one of those expectations. read more

I bought my son a brand new suit for his prom and graduation. I took his dress shirt and suit pants into McNatts on Van Dyke and Dale Mabry. When I went to pick them up the pant were missing. Staff was very friendly and said they would call me when they looked around a little more. I never got a call and continued to go into the store to ask about the pants. I was told a few stories which included pants were given to another customer by accident and a staff member stole them and was fired. I showed multiple employees at the store my sales receipt showing I had just bought the suit and the cost of the pants. I was told each time the regional manager Harry would call me and they would reimburse me for the pants. 7 months later I have never spoken to the regional manager and have never been reimburse. I have left messages for Harry and her never returns my call. Still hoping to be reimburse but not looking good. I'm hoping someone from McNatts will read this and reach out to me and make it right. read more

There's nothing I hate more than going to wash my dress only to read on the tag "Dry Clean Only". DAMMIT I chose McNatt's for it's proximity to my house. It was overall a fine and uneventful drycleaning experience. I dropped off a dress and a pea coat on Saturday afternoon and then picked it up on Monday after 5. I do feel like it was a bit expensive ($12 for the dress and $12 for the coat)...but I've only ever been to a dry cleaners like once in my life, so I don't really have anything to gauge that on. I think from now on I'll check the tags before I buy clothes. read more

Its location is convenient, the staff is always friendly, the service is fast and they do a great job, and the price is in line with any other dry cleaners doing same or next day service. I am writing this review after a VERY negative and flippant interaction with the staff and supervisors at McNatts. And when reading this, please keep in mind that this is the second time I've had this exact problem. Apparently, the machines went down and "thousands of people's clothes" were trapped inside and there was "nothing we can do about it". While I understand things happen that are out of ones control, the way it was handled by the staff and management was unacceptable. I spoke with two different people, and was well into the conversation with the manager before an apology ever came out of her mouth. The lack of care and concern for the impact this inconvenience is having on their customers is shameful. A sincere apology at the least would have made this whole situation feel a lot better. When an apology was FINALLY given, I had to remind the manager that in a situation like this an apology should be the FIRST thing given--poor customer service. And on top of it all no offer of a discount on the current dry cleaning order, since the guarantee was not met, nor an incentive for me to return as a customer was made. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice... I'll find a new dry cleaner. read more

First I'd like to say my dry cleaning came out perfect with out issues. However this establishment prices are insane. Because I'm a women they charge me double for a shirt to be washed and pressed then a mans. I brought my Restoration Hardware drapes in to be cleaned. Picked them up when they were ready. Hung one drape,. The chemical smell is unbearable! Gave me a headache and kills my sinuses. Brought them back to get the smell out. Asked them to not use any chemicals. Second time, They still smell! I now have $1200 worth of drapes I can no longer use! recently bought two wingtip pleated white shirts and dropped them off at your 1071 Bruce B. Downs location for pressing. I picked them up today and there was a button ripped of of one of my brand new $50 shirts. Not broken, ripped off leaving a jagged place where there used to be a button sewn on. I pointed it out to the clerk (young girl dark shoulder length hair) who seemed to think it was quite funny. I did not think it was all that funny and did not appreciate the whole situation. I know it would cost a lot more than the shirt is worth but I'm thinking about filing a claim in small claims court just over the principle of it all. At the very minimum I'm going to find as many websites as I can referencing your business and post my story to warn others. read more

The best thing about McNatt's is the number of locations ... other than that ... only take items here that you don't mind if they are lost or ruined and then receive the worst customer service you can imagine. I have never felt this unappreciated as a customer in my life. I dropped off two pieces on 8/13 at 8am and was told it will be ready by 5 that day. I arrived at 315, hoping it will be ready as I live on the other side of town. I was told it was not ready and will be there at 430. I left to run some errands on that side of town and called at 430 to check if it was ready. I was told no and it will be there by 5. I said I will just come back tomorrow. I arrived the following date at 8am again and was told only one piece was done and to come back in the afternoon. I asked what time, she said 430. I said I don't want to drive here again if it was not ready. She said we will call you when it ready by 5pm. It is now 8pm and I have not received a call nor my two pieces of dry cleaners. It is ridiculous and I will never return again. There are places who offer 1 hour and this place can't getting together in two days. read more

Neither the quality (or lack thereof) of the work that they undertook, nor the customer service was even remotely acceptable. They didnt clean the areas of the clothes that were stained, even though i specifically pointed the spots out when i dropped the clothes off. And although they offer pick up and delivery - their system leaves a lot to be desired, as it was it took me weeks to get back my items. Initially, they were meant to be dropped off, but when they didn't arrive, i was told the clothes were at the store, when i went to the store, they said they didn't have the clothes, finally, the clothes were discovered at one of their sites. At least they were returned, even though i had to take them to a different cleaner to actually get them cleaned. I now go to a small, independent cleaner, who does a fantastic job, clothes are properly cleaned, pressed, ready when they were promised, courteous....all items which i would have thought a long established chain, with multiple locations, would be able to accomplish. read more

Home delivery not very organized or professional. I signed up on-line for the home delivery, after a week no one had called me so I called the store and got Bobby's number whom I called, after playing phone tag we finally spoke. We got disconnected several times, he asked for my address and didn't know if it were on his route but he would drive by and see (google maps comes to mind). He made me feel like I might be out of his way, it might be on his route or someone else's, my next step was to go to the store and fill out an application, then he asked for my address again since he didn't write it down. At this point I felt like poor customer service was going to be par for the course and I decided to go to another cleaners. 4 years I've been a satisfied customer. read more

I have been to 2 different Mc Natt's cleaners and handed in expensive suits, wife's dresses and expensive $200 dollar dress shirts. Unfortunately i have to say i will not be returned to either after they ruined one of my suits. The suit is pressed unevenly, which a professional dry cleaner could fix, but they can't, the explanation: "you try to tell them, they don't speak english" turns out all the locations deliver to the same place and no one at the actual cleaning location apparently speaks english or can read the directions. I gave the suit back at least 5 times. My wives dress lost some of the details that was sown on. The rest of the stuff came out ok i guess. Also if you turn in a suit, be prepared to find a bar code ironed on to the back of the collar. I have never seen that before, i understand the purpose, but no one said anything about it and it is very much visible when the jacket is not worn. Can anyone recommend a dry cleaner in the area who won't first lose all of the pants you own because they put them under the wrong name and then return them smelling so strongly of chemicals it fills my entire bedroom and still charges 5 dollars per item? Because this is not the place. The smell is so bad. I am wearing a pair of the pants today and feel sick because it is so strong. It smells like concentrated RAID roach spray. Beware. Customer service is AWFUL. Recently I had an issue with them getting grease all over my shorts. It took weeks to resolve. Numerous emails and calls to the owner and finally resolved. Last night, I had to pick up my dry cleaning for a business trip today. I was told to come after 5. We showed up at 5:15. Was told van is not here and they will call when it gets here. They called and when we showed up again, not all the clothes were there. We were told we could pick up the next day, but the issue with that is I had an early flight. After many calls and getting hung up on (Valerie), the rest of the order magically appeared. Had to go back 3 times and the best part is, they still charged for every document. The owner Henry Mcnatt really needs to take a hard look at the service he provides. I gave them a 2nd chance after my issue, but now, NEVER again. Really PATHETIC. read more

Apparently the professional standard at McNatts is a double crease on the back of your shirt . They want you to walk around looking like a fool . When I asked Jeannene the store manager if that looked professional to her she said"it looks all right to me". She then proceeded to say they can fix it but I have to pay more. Really? You don't do the job correctly the first time, then I have to pay you more to fix it. I guess the store owner must pay her enough to take customer complaints, because when I asked for their owner contact info she made it seem like I had to track them down to speak to them. So in summary if you want your shirts to look like your 10 year old brother ironed them please go to McNatts otherwise avoid the bad experience. The only reason I gave them a 1 was because they managed not to loose anything and they didn't do a bad job on my pants. I should have known better because upon drop off another customer was educating them on ironing shirt collars. I guess he must like his shirts ironed professionally as well. I dropped off two leather coats to be cleaned, off premises, about a year ago..the girl took my number and said that since they send leather out, it could take months...and would call when they came in. One time when I stopped by they weren't there. Time went on...and I admit it was on the back burner, since I knew they were sent away to be done. Well, I stopped in the other day, and was told they were sold...because we did not pick them up. I asked the purpose of taking our phone number, since it was right there on the ticket...no answer. Just that they need to recoup the cost of the cleaning by selling them...which I'm sure they did since one was a blazer, another a trench coat, that my husband and I bought in Florence, Italy on vacation. I would say they made a tidy profit..and would warn anyone who decides to take a gamble, that they will sell your leather items without so much as calling you. I suggest the dry cleaners at MLK and North BLVD. THEY ARE CHEAPER, AND FRIENDLIER. I'm not even sure why I'm giving them one star..just have never done no stars before, which is what they deserve. McNatt's is very close to my home, so I took 8 long polyester tablecloths to be washed and they charged $22 each!!! I could have bought at least two new ones for that price. My bad for not asking, but when I had them done before at a place much farther away it wasn't even close. Now the few miles will be worth it. I know my husband has been taking his shirts to McNatt's to be cleaned and pressed...he obviously hasn't checked the tickets! Never again! read more

HORRIBLE CLEANERS... I brought in a number of items to their Bruce B Downs Location for next day service.. Came back the next day and I received all items but a pair of shorts which they lost and still to this day can not find... I was going away that next day on a business trip in which I needed those shorts.. They claimed that if the item is under $100 they will reimburse you without a receipt.. which my item was, In return they gave me what they thought the price of my shorts were, not what I told them my shorts cost. I have tried reaching the owner and his assistant for weeks. And they have still not returned my many messages.. VERY POOR SERVICE... Would not recommend the cleaners to ANYONE read more

Dropped off a dress to be cleaned for an event in Nevada. Went to pick it up the next day and they had lost it. I didn't get to take the dress with me and when they found it a week later wanted to charge me. I asked 3 times for the manager of the Ehrlich store to please call me with no response. Absolutely, hands-down, the worst company that I've ever used for dry cleaning. I dropped off a bed-skirt to be dry cleaned and received it back shrunk. When I called to let them know, they requested that I drop the bed-skirt back off so they could steam it and try to stretch it back into the proper dimensions. I was also told by the manager, Kelly, that if the bed-skirt did not fit after they tried to stretch it that they would reimburse me for ruining the item. I dropped off the bed-skirt for the second time, had to follow-up a week later (it was supposed to take 3 days) to see what they status of my bed-skirt was (they didn't even know where it was) and wait for them to call me back to tell me they "found" it, and it would take another 3-days before I received it back. I picked it up and the bed-skirt still does not fit. I let them know, they requested a receipt for how much it cost and said they would process the check within 2-days. It has been 5-days and I had to call to follow-up, yet again, on the payment of my reimbursement. I was told today by Kelly, the manager, that they would not be reimbursing me for this item because it is a household item and they are so risky to take in and clean. NEVER was this mentioned when dropping it off and I have been told up until today that they would take care of what they ruined. They have chosen not to. Now, this is the business they run. They have chosen to be in business "taking care and cleaning" people's personal items. If you cannot take responsibility for not being able to properly care for property that someone is entrusting to you and not replace what you've ruined, then you should probably not be in business. read more
