Sealed the likely entrance, built trap boxes ( YouTube... ) and used various baits. Rats are extremely smart and fast. He'd get the food but not caught. After a a few weeks I gave in and searched for an exterinator. The reviews about Joe prompted me to get in touch. The reviews describe him perfectly ! He came the next day. We spent almost 2 hours going around the house inspecting for evidence of entry points, nests, activity as well as getting to know each other. He is truly a nice guy who knows his craft ! Joe seemed impressed by my approach. Thought, based on what he saw, that there might only be the one and didn't see any obvious additional enrty points. He suggested a few new baits and traps and we decided to stay in touch before moving to poison. He refused payment for his time and advice. He promptly replied to my status texts over the next few days. Nobody caught, no success... until I got him ! Sent Joe pictures. Recieved a congratulations reply ! Now going to keep monitoring for a few weeks, traps set. Maybe my problem is solved. Fingers crossed my visitor didn't have friends and family. Im a woman who was home alone. My second encounter, or lack thereof, was yesterday when they refused to perform the service they were hired for due to "a harness being on the stairs" .....I have two cats, and one likes to go outside sometimes, the harness I keep hanging on the end of the railing, NOT on the steps. There was no reason for him not to perform the service for my apartment.

Asked why I wasn't called. Said not their responsibility. Spoke to office manager. Also said not their responsibility. All she wanted to do was talk over me and said it is the tech job. Washed her hands of the problem. Should have gone with a more reliable company. One year and done.

I found ALM here on Yelp, great feedback, so I reached out to the owner- and in 5 minutes I had an appointment for the next day! James was our technician and he was fabulous! Very knowledgeable and pleasant disposition. He investigated and got right to work search searching for every nest opening, and they were a lot! Told me to monitor it for a couple days and if there's any more activity or new nest openings to just to give them a call and they'll treat it until they're gone! How can you go wrong?!

He came over made the assessment and placed and set traps with a camera so they knew when they captured the squirrels. After catching 2 squirrels and putting stronger wire over the entry point. Then placed another trap just in case there might have been another way in. But no more issues with the squirrels. I hope I don't have any more wildlife or other pests but if I do, I would definitely go back with Pestify. And you cannot miss their truck!
