The appointment started on time and only took five minutes to get my fingerprints and my photo taken. Aside from TSA enrollment, they also do passport photos. Other services provided at this location are: UPS shipping & drop off, tech services, recycling services, and printing services (copies, posters, business cards). I've purchased office supplies from here on occasion mostly for ink cartridges. I love all the services they provide and the added bonus is that they are only five minutes away from my house.

Discriminatory, Embarrassing, and Unprofessional Treatment on 1/11/26 - Columbia, MD Location…read more I am writing on behalf of my sister, who was treated in a discriminatory, dismissive, and humiliating manner by a supervisor named Tracy at the Staples location in Columbia, MD this afternoon. My sister is currently living out of a hospital as her young daughter is recovering from a stroke. She is working remotely under extreme emotional and physical stress, which is why she used Instacart to purchase a printer. When she went into the store to return the printer and purchase another one, Tracy told her, "I don't trust Instacart" before my sister even had the opportunity to pull up her receipt in the app. She also indicated she didn't know the policy. This statement was inappropriate, unprofessional, and made in a public setting, causing my sister to feel embarrassed, judged, and singled out. It tarnished her dignity as a customer and as an individual and caused her additional anxiety and emotional distress during an already devastating time. This is not the first negative interaction she has had with this same supervisor, and she strongly believes there is a pattern of discriminatory treatment. I later spoke directly with Tracy by phone, and she confirmed that she made the statement about not trusting Instacart. During that call, she was rude, defensive, and became aggressive in tone when I expressed my concern about how my sister was treated. Customers should never be made to feel distrusted, disrespected, or publicly embarrassed. Staples leadership should take this matter very seriously.

We walked into the store with an item of interest in mind; but, after walking around, found several items that would fit our need. We also found quite a few items that will encourage us to come back for future needs. While the prices weren't inexpensive, they were in line with other stores that sold contemporary furniture. We ultimately left after purchasing something that we hadn't seen on the website, and it was delivered just a few days later. As an aside, to show how helpful they were, we were speaking with the owner about an upcoming trip and he gave us wonderful advice. Then, we asked for a local restaurant recommendation, since we weren't from that area. Soon after we were seated at the restaurant, one of the employees there came over and welcomed us by name, saying that the owner had called ahead. ​​​

They are so friendly here, patient, and more importantly, not pushy like other furniture stores!
