The plethora of furniture here at this store is overwhelming and I love that. So much to choose from! And I'm a little picky. Horrible experience all the way around. We received incorrect cabinets for three different…read morelocations. Had to build a platform in order to make some of them work. Ordered the wine cabinet. We were missing all of the hardware missing shelves and also missing the glass doors. We were also quoted kitchen cabinets without handles. I'm not sure how that makes any sense. We were also shorted cabinet handles and still can't get the correct amount. I have sent several emails about one missing handle and cannot get a response. Kingston Zhang was our point of contact. He is very incompetent at his job and we feel like he does not care about the finished result. Would highly recommend using another company.

I've been to a few locations looking for good pieces of furniture, with no luck. But this Bowie location is GREAT! I walked in expecting to walk back out shortly thereafter, but I browsed for quite a bit! It's quite a ways from my house, but I was in the area and would come back just to see what new items they have. I was looking for a comfortable chair to place in my bedroom and some counter-height stools for my kitchen. I did see a lot of options but didn't make a purchase because I didn't have a way to transport. But they really had some nice couches, ottomans, and paintings! I'm definitely coming back even if only for a painting. The employees weren't hovering (which I love). Mekhi was especially helpful with information about heading to their website to find additional counter stools they didn't have in stock. I'll be back!

I was in line for 15 mins with only 2 people in front of me. -Not sure how well they train their seasonal staff because our cashier was clueless about working the register, which is why we were waiting so long while the other lanes were moving quicker -It's a glorified "Family Dollar" with more items. Some items I could find cheaper at Walmart or even Target. Not sure if I can tolerate another visit to Big Lots. Not worth the stress.

It is located in Bowie's historic district in a very old building with a wonderful front porch and screen door that when it slams shut behind you, it conjures up memories (at least for me) of the former occupants running inside a hundred or so years ago. It is a small family-owned business. Randy Trammel is a very talented furniture and cabinet maker and his wife Jeanne- along with her wonderful mother- travel to Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Ohio and other states to find wonderful treasures, which they sell along with contemporary furniture. They are only open on weekends, 12-5 PM. I highly recommend this store. They will make you feel like one of the family with their warmth and humor. I have bought both antiques and contemporary furniture from them over the years and I love everything that I've bought. And it seems that every time I drop in Jeanne has somehow brought in another treasure. They also sell antique American Indian baskets- when she finds them. This is a wonderful store that you will not be sorry you visited. And the prices are extremely good considering the fantastic quality that you are getting. I just bought a beautiful chest of drawers circa 1820. I love to open it and think that when it was first used, John Quincy Adams was president!

I didn't buy much, only a few dollar-ish items. Mostly I bought some things for my students. I scored a box of Georgia O'Keeffe note cards (unused) for $1.99. I bought a Shopaholic book that I haven't read by the late, great Sophie Kinsella (RIP). My friend lives walking distance from here so the next time I visit I'll be sure to stop in again.

This Goodwill is in a great location. It's clean and organized. I really like the extra discount through their Goodwill Rewards 50% discount color code system. This week's color was BLUE. We enjoy thrifting and find there's never enough time to search for new treasures. But, we liked this visit! The cashier was friendly and organized in ringing us out. The women's restroom room has two stalls and although the first stall's door didn't have a working lock, the door managed to stay closed while in use. Thank goodness! The restroom was clean, so, all good. We're glad we carved out time to visit this Goodwill location. We'll keep it in mind on a future trip to the area.

Using Ray's Touch to resurface my cabinets and install quartz was the best decision ever! We looked…read moreat three other contractors plus Home Depot. The other contractors just didn't feel right. Most wanted to replace my cabinets all together. Ray was very careful with my property. He taped off everything and routed air through the window to remove all dust. He removed my cabinets doors and took them to his shop. My kitchen was very dark. You can't tell what it used to be. Ray and his team were very efficient and on time. The work took one week. I neglected to read my contract carefully. The contract says all fees due in full before delivery meaning before Ray brings your doors and new countertop for installation, any balance must be paid in full. You pay in full beforehand. The new door and new countertop install is the last step and only takes a day. I was concerned about paying in full before the last step was complete and I voiced that concern. Luckily, Ray is a man of integrity and all went well! Ray even installed a wood base at the bottom of one of my cabinets because the bottom of that cabinet was ruined. My dog had bit an end of my cabinet and you can no longer tell. Ray removed any signs of wear or tear in my cabinets. Ray also left behind the paint color of the new cabinets in case I scratched or mistakenly damaged something. Ray's office manager was very professional and his showroom is very clean. They have a large selection of granite, quartz, colors, etc. Everyone on Ray's team was very professional, friendly, nice and knowledgeable. Ray has a very direct pricing model that does not include haggling or negotiation. He does not negotiate his pricing. He simply puts his best pricing forward. This saves so much time! I appreciate that.
