Would give 0 stars if possible. Ordered a bouquet for a friends child who needed major surgery. Called and was told that they can do a small bouquet of colorful flowers that was in our budget, and what arrived was mostly white carnations that looked thrown together with two lopsided sprigs of some little purple flowers. Looked cheap and not put together. Paid 75 dollars for this, what a rip off. Very disappointing. read more

McShan's has just lost a long time customer. Nothing says I love you like getting Valentine's Day roses the day after. I got a call apologizing saying they "did the best they could" to deliver on time but failed. Well, I'm going to do my very best at making sure consumers know what is going on with McShan - they either do not have the ability to fill orders in a timely fashion during the most busy time for flowers or they lack the planning to do so. Given all the hate in the world - I'm even wondering if my last name had anything to do with being put last in the queue for delivery - making it impossible to get the order delivered on time. McShan filled my online order from Teleflora. They bouquet they delivered was absolutely beautiful and perfect. At first I was a little disappointed because the image on Teleflora had white spray roses and chrysanthemum, which were replaced with white carnation and snapdragon, and I expected 8 roses instead of 5, but I soon realized that the bouquet from McShan was much more beautiful than the photo of what I ordered, with more diverse flowers and greens. It was one of the cheaper bouquets from Teleflora but it didn't look cheap. The snapdragons were so beautiful with the roses and the colors were coordinated so well across the entire bouquet. The recipient loved it. And I think we can't expect the actual bouquet to match the picture exactly. The bouquet has also stayed so fresh. It's been 5 days and it's still going! They also delivered it early in the morning which was perfect. I would absolutely order from them again! read more

Many years ago, a florist grossly missing a delivery window, delivering a poor construct arrangement and putting the wrong name on a card lead to a very painful moment in a failing marriage. The owner at 1800 Flowers refused to fix the problem and Teleflor removed them from their vendors list and had MCSHANS send me a bouquet. When I tell you these were to die for, they were absolutely breathtaking. I'm devastated how badly McShan has let me down. I have been a customer of McShan for nearly 30 years. My wife recently started a new job and her associates are much younger and cruel to her. I so badly wanted all of them to see my wife's beautiful arrangement for them to know how much she is loved. I spent $150.00! Why, because her happiness means everything to me, and I trusted McShan. When I am in a clutch, McShan always comes through. I trust their judgement. They have my info on file, I call tell them I need something that looks great and/or smells great for so and so occasion, for X amount of dollars and they make it and deliver it. My mom ordered me an suprise arrangement on 2-13-2019 and within 2 hours they had delivered it all the way to Grand Prairie. When I say this was stunning, thats an understatement. For something super simple, it sure did make a lasting impression. Everyone stopped by my office to comment on how beautiful it was and many continued to stop and smell the roses throughout the rest of the week. It is now 6 days later and they still look amazing. I fully expect them to last the rest of the week. My mom swears by McShan's whenever she beeds flowers sent in the DFW area, and now I will use them whenever possible. Wow, just wow! I give up! After two phone calls, McShan made hardly any effort to fix it! I really wish I could say that I have never had such a horrible experience with flower delivery...but this is not the first time I've had trouble with them! We have been using McShan for years and the arrangements have steadily gone downhill. If you can't (or won't) make the arrangements you show on your website, then don't advertise that you can. This arrangement looks NOTHING like what I ordered and I am embarrassed that this is what was being delivered for a special birthday. Especially after I voiced to customer service how dissatisfied I was, this is the effort they made to 'fix it'. We spent way too much money for this bouquet to look this horrible. So very disappointed & angry that this is what they feel is acceptable. I am very disappointed with my floral arrangement. I ordered a beautiful fall arrangement for a friend from teleflora.com and paid almost $60 for a couple of roses and some carnations. I think I could have made a better arrangement myself from flowers at Trader Joe's. I wish I could figure out how to post a picture so you could see what I ordered and what was sent. McShan, I love you, I do. You would have 5 stars if you were a little less expensive, but you did save my life. How, you ask?? Well, we must go back, baaaackk to the beginning.... I'm joking. We just have to go back to early October 2009. I had been dealing with a friend of a friend (always a bad idea) to do my flowers for my wedding at the end of October. She had made all these grand statements in the early months of wedding planning about how much money she would save me, blah blah blah. Long story short? She way overcharged us to do an example of the bouquet, lied about what she had access to, and then disappeared 2 weeks before my wedding and refused to return my calls. Was I freaking out?? Yes. Crying with my mom in my living room we start to google florists and find McShan's just down the road. Trying to forgo disaster we arrive and they see us on the spot. I was wow'd by their level of service. I waited for maybe 10-15 minutes while the florist on duty finished with another customer and then he sat with me, listened to my woes, and told me everything would be alright. I described what I liked and what I didn't like and then he walked around the store and put together an example for me right. then. That kind of service, from what I understand, is rare in the florist business. These people sincerely care about you, they arrived on time on the big day and stayed on site until the people at my wedding location helped them find a secure place to store the flowers where they were also in water. You just don't find that level of commitment with many organizations any more, but you will pay for it. They were a little pricier than we wanted, but an incredible investment for the results we received. This local business is absolutely outstanding. A friend ordered me surprise birthday flowers and I had my phone in the other room when they tried to deliver and didn't have my gate code. They got back to me the next day and we arranged for a Monday delivery vs original Friday. The next day I noticed a few of the flowers were wilted/petals looking like they might fall off and called to ask if that was normal or if I did something wrong and they said no and brought me a whole new arrangement a few hours later. They totally didn't have to do that and both arrangements are beautiful! If I'm in need of a florist this place 100% has my business. Definitely go with them! read more

After years of doing business with McShan, they've screwed me on Valentines Day, and I will NOT be using them anymore. Before you get your panties in a wad about it being a holiday and the fact that they're busy, ... I get that. I ordered an $85 arrangement on February 11th and paid extra for a "premium bouquet" - and included a $15 tip for a driver who, as of 4:05pm on Valentine's Day had not yet shown up. They emailed me a picture of a pitiful Spring bouquet saying my order was ready. I called and the woman who answered was very rude and didn't seem to care that I got a crappy arrangement that was still not delivered. From now on I'll just go with one of the chains. I guess this is what I get for trying to do business with local providers who don't give a shit about customer service. read more

This was my first time ordering from McShan. Our neighbors sent us a gorgeous holiday arrangement from McShan several months ago, and I was so impressed that when I wanted to send flowers to my parents last week, I thought of McShan first. The arrangement was gorgeous AND they delivered a small box of fruit with it for free! When my parents sent a photo of the arrangement, I was shocked to see a box of fruit beside it, which just sweetened the deal. I also LOVED that McShan sent me a photo of the flowers before delivery. My biggest complaint with florists has always been that you never know what you're actually buying unless the recipient happens to send a photo, which has happened to me on several occasions and I have been sorely disappointed (Avas Flowers being a prime example of that). There is no other industry where you pay through the nose for something super subjective that you never actually see; it's just wrong!! Sending a photo first is a brilliant way to tackle that issue and put the customer at ease. So thank you to McShan for a wonderful experience, the high quality customer service and the beautiful result! I will definitely continue to order from McShan in the future. read more

They didn't rush me through the ordering process but took the time to ask all the right questions to make sure my order would be just what I wanted.
