There were only a few of plant containers availible and the girl in the store didn't mention anything about making anything up for me with plants or flowers. I showed my disappointment but did end up making a selection. It seemed as I was bothering the girl at the counter (only person I saw in there at the time) I just really wanted to love this place, as it is local and close to my home, not sure I will be revisiting or recommending. Coming from out of state, I requested several quotes for rehearsal dinner centerpieces. By far the most prompt, helpful and friendly response came from Lizzie Bee's. Laura patiently answered all of my questions by phone or email. I sent her the bride's wedding color scheme photo and ordered 5 Surprise Me Bees. They were gorgeous and very economical! They came in large cut glass vases beautifully arranged and full of fresh flowers, including several gorgeous-colored roses and greenery. I've previously ordered from this shop after seeing all the reviews I've read on two different occasions. I always did the surprise me arrangement but never saw them until my last delivery, and third time ordering. I did the $150 Surprise Me arrangement where I asked the florist to do whatever they wanted as long as it was boho chic. My recipient texted me a picture of the arrangement thanking me. Needless to say, I wasn't expecting what I saw. It was quite disappointing and poorly arranged. I never want to be a Karen, especially to small businesses, but this didn't sit right for me. I emailed their team letting them know my disappointment. The customer service after I emailed was gracious and apologetic. They offered to send out a second arrangement to my recipient; free. They ruined my Valentine's truly! I ordered the long stem mixed (red & pink) roses to have delivered on Valentine's Day. I texted the number that I was given to text if I had any questions. I informed them that I needed the roses delivered no later than 4:45pm due to dinner reservations. I didn't receive a response the entire day. I ended up calling at 1pm to tell them this and the woman promised that it would be because the delivery girl got off at 5pm. Now it's 4:30pm and still no delivery. I called back very upset and the guy over the phone did not care one bit. He said oh it's traffic downtown she won't make it in time. I was furious that my surprise was being ruined so I asked for a refund. Rather than fixing the situation he didn't hesitate to give me a refund with a gift card to the flower shop. Once I realized that it was a gift card and not my money back I had to call back. He stated that he did not know how that happened and he would try to fix it to go back how I paid. Moral is I never cared to have my money back I just really wanted the flowers. I ended up telling him to have the person delivery them still and just leave them at the hotel front desk. Once I made it back to the hotel the roses weren't even what you considered long stem. I specifically asked that before I ordered them because long stem is what I needed. So to know that I went through all of this and paid a pretty penny just to not even have the flowers I expected. AND the note I wanted with the flowers that I wrote when I ordered them did not even come with them. Just a note with my name and location smh. None the less the actual flowers were very petty but I will NEVER do business with them again. read more

5:30 on a Thursday, I walk in and a young lady tells me from the next roon that they are closed. I can see that she is with another couple and she is tending to them, but some sort of explanation or something would have been nice since the hours clearly state they close at 6. If you're considering ordering flowers from somewhere like proflowers, 1-800-flowers, etc - go with these guys instead. Comparable prices, always delivered on time, great service. I went 4 stars instead of 5 because today I went in to buy two dozen roses (no vase, just 24 flowers) and they asked me for $185. That's something like a 450% markup over what I can get down the road at Kroger. I understand perhaps these are better quality, but for $185 the blooms would need to be the size of a chihuahua and also guaranteed to never die. They seemed genuinely confused when I said "no thanks." I will still use them whenever I need an arrangement delivered in Wylie/Murphy/Sachse, but I'll pass when I just want simple flowers that I'm going to stick in a vase myself. read more

I was sent flowers for my birthday after I was diagnosed with cancer. The original arrangement was stunningly beautiful with 12 lavender and red roses, and amaryllis. I received them on Thursday and by Saturday am all the roses but two and the amaryllis were wilted and shriveled. When I called to complain I was brought a replacement 1/2 the size and told that the flowers died in two days because I didn't take care of the water and change it every day. We had filled the water and taken care of the flowers, but the staff was extremely rude and never apologized for any of it. I would never recommend this florist and I have pictures of how wilted the flowers were at 1 1/2 days after receiving them. Then I called and politely left a message and received no call back apology. So when I called again they said oh, you didn't take care of the water right we will replace it and brought a bouquet half the size and were rude when I complained that I had received a dozen roses and now I had none!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS FLORIST! read more
