SO GLAD we called MD Appliance Repair when our washer stopped spinning. Michael came out the next day and had to work pretty hard to unclog our washer so it would spin again. It is an older washer and we debated whether it would be worth fixing but he was honest about the machine and the repair was very reasonable. There was a huge clog in the hose under the tub which was unbelievable. He is an honest repair shop which is such a relief these days. I was really impressed. Mike is VERY knowledgeable, professional and honest. He came out to look at our washing machine and dishwasher. He knew what was wrong with the washing machine within a few minutes, gave honest opinions on repair costs vs a new machine, and did some work to try to make the machine function a bit longer while we decide. We had a super noisy dishwasher that included some strange noises he didn't recognize. Mike spent a good amount of time trying to find it, recommended a product to clean out all the gunk and showed me how to access and clean the filter which was loaded with calcification and soap scum. Mike is very thorough and we were very pleased with his work. Dishwasher was leaking and he recommended replacing the seals. Dishwasher still leaked. Returned and noticed lower sprayer looked bad. Mike came out to fix my Electrolux dryer as it was not heating. He vacuumed out the dryer and ended up finding out that the igniter had to be replaced. I ordered the part, which came to me in one day (I'm in the appliance sales business, so I have connections). I called his office and they scheduled me a couple days later. Mike, the owner, is very polite and knowledgeable. I had to use this company through my home warranty. It took 1 week to get an appointment. It took another week to get the part. Now they are telling me that it will take another week for him to come out. Maybe they have faster service for non-warranty customers? Would never use again. read more
