I called on a Friday morning based on their Yelp reviews. Once I explained my situation, Tom assured me he'd pull some strings to get a tech out to my house. That they did! The tech came out and tried to fix the old dryer, but it was unfixable. So he proceeded to install the new one (I had two dryers sitting as a result of the fiasco). All in all, they got me squared away, and the pricing was very straightforward. Hopefully, I won't need service again anytime soon, but if I do, I will call Advantage FIRST!

The technician arrived on time, looked at my issue and repaired the dryer with parts he had with him. The price was comparable to other service quotes , without an upcharge for same day service. Does it get any better than this? I will be using SMA for any future service needs.

My refrigerator had stopped cooling and I had not notice the temperature was dropping till two days after, yes once all my freezer items had thawed out I didn't want to deal with the hassle of looking for the replacement and have to wait for shipping etc. As I was already frustrated having to throw everything away. Last month, the dishwasher stopped working and Mike diagnosed the problem, sourced and then replaced the water valve at a fair price and we were back in business. This past week, water stopped flowing again and we feared valve failure or something worse. You assume the factory is doing a good job and the team that checks does the same thing. Unfortunately Ron was not that lucky. When the serviceman came he said he was told it was a Maytag and that certain guys fix different brands. We had water coming out from under the machine. I told him I thought it was the pump. He never took the front off the machine to inspect the pump. He said it was due to the drain hose inserted too far into the drain. It was an $85 service fee down the drain (no pun intended). Still leaks. Time to call ABT Appliance.

I called the maker of the oven (Whirlpool) and they told me it was going to be $499 for a guy to come out and for parts and labor. Plus a 1 year warrantee. If I wanted to just order a part, it would be $231 and I could do the repairs myself. I told them I would hold off and I did a local search and found Premium Appliance Repair. I checked out the reviews for the company and all I saw were 4 and 5 star. So I called them and set up an appointment. They came right out, made the repairs quickly and when all was said and done, the total cost was $178. PLUS the same 1 year warrantee. On top of it all my repairman "Ted" was punctual, very courteous, well mannered, explained the repairs and answered all my questions. I couldn't be happier with the service I was provided. Not only will I call them again whenever I need any other repairs like this, but I will also spread the word to all my friends and family.
