The front desk staff, nurse was great. The nurse asked all my medical info going back years. The nurse asked me why I was there. For 5 days I could not talk & aches, chills, & just felt lousy. I asked the front desk if I would see a doctor & she said yes. A Physician assistant came in. She was pleasant. Asked why I was there & I told her. She listened to my heart & lungs & looked in my throat. Nothing else was checked. If she felt my neck she would of found out that l was in pain. She prescribed an antibiotic but told me to wait 2 days. If I have a virus the antibiotic will not work, which I am aware of. I think the exam should of included checking my nose & ears. If I don't get better see an ENT. That was my visit. Not a good visit. I scheduled this visit online & had an appointment. I hope this goes away & don't need any more doctors. read more

Walked in with my soon to be 90 year old Dad on a Friday afternoon, before Memorial Day and found the waiting room surprisingly empty! Came upon an absolutely morose, unpleasant, and seemingly miserable young lady behind the counter. Fortunately, everyone else in the office was pleasant and professional! PA Chad was our medical provider. He was knowledgeable and pleasant, taking good care of my Dad. We were out the door in less than an hour with our concerns addressed. If not for the miserable person initially at the desk, this would have been a 5 Star review! Hope not to have to go back, but certainly would. read more

I came to the urgent care in skylake I usual lay come to this branch and today I had the worst experience of my life after leaving pediatric associates with my son in the same shopping center around 1 pm I did an online appointment and a virtual check in because I figured since he had just been diagnosed with the flu and step throat it was safer to wait in the car for the sake of the other parientes there waiting I went to the pharmacy picked up his prescription and when I finally revived a text to do online check in and that my spot in line was next I walked on just to be told I had to wait another hour and half my son had a fever of 103 and I had to bring him in the office he is child with 7 years of age and I can't leave him alone in the car . The office manager disregard everything I said and made me wait even though I had already waited I was devastated of the lack on consideration she told me the virtual system is different than them I told her that's not true because I have always used and never had an issue in the past . She said that's them and not sure what she means by that . Made an appointment online, got a text stating they are ready for you. Apparently they are NOT ready too see any patients. Do not go here! We arrive there as the only patients. A very old man took 30 minutes to check us in. Tried to tell us we had a prior balance and that we couldn't be seen until it was paid. Completely fictitious. There was no prior balance. Medical assistant looked like he was a homeless man. Long hair and dirty looking. We explained our upper respiratory symptoms. He replied the doctor was "probably going to send us to the emergency room." Ridiculous! He didn't know how to take proper blood pressure was acting as if he had medical knowledge and was dirty, ignorant and arrogant. Physicians assistant came in next. There was no doctor. We asked for a chest x-ray due to our nonstop coughing. He replied their machine was broken. He refused to give antibiotics, had zero bedside manner, and was also arrogant. The exam room was filthy. Used syringes in the garbage instead of the hazardous bucket, garbage on the floor and countertops. Physicians assistant did not want to be bothered doing a strep test or Covid test or flu test. My experience with front desk staff member Kaylan Deais was extremely negative. She demonstrated indifference and rudeness, even resorting to making demeaning remarks towards me--behavior that is absolutely unacceptable in a healthcare setting. I spent more than 2.5 hours waiting for assistance without receiving clear explanations. I hope the management will take appropriate action to ensure incidents like this do not happen again. Came in the day after severely twisting my ankle. Ankle and foot was extremely swollen. I told them I could not put any weight on it. All they did was xray my ankle and not my foot. Apparently it's very common with severe ankle rolling to break bones in foot. Unfortunately the staff lacked this knowledge or experience so my foot was not xrayed. I went to a specialist for a follow up and it turns out I broke two bones in my foot. So my urgent care visit was essentially useless and very expensive-would not recommend as they don't have the experience to know what xray to run for a common injury. Hopefully someone will read this post and implement better diagnostic procedures going forward. read more

Was told there was an hour wait, 50 minutes in I was called up and asked if I received a text (which I did not) the woman in the front desk said she'd resend it and asked me to fill it out. I specifically asked if this will set be back to the end of the line. She said no, it's been an hour and 11 mins since she said no and every person who I was there before has been seen. I complained and they said there was nothing they can do and that there's no manager on site. Run as fast as you can! I went here on 2/10/2023 with what I believed to be Bronchitis and a very sore throat. The medical (so called) Professional insisted on covid/flu test before anything else. I had no choice. What a way to milk our government. After the test came back negative the medical professional stood in the corner of the exam room with his darth vader face mask on and wrote scripts for bronchitis. He NEVER examined me! He NEVER listened to my lungs. He NEVER looked down my throat! He NEVER touched me! To make a long story short I ended up in ICU on 2/13/2023 with an abscess on my vocal chord and have to have surgery! Stay as far away from this place as possible. They have a service where even when you have insurance they charge 75 dollars and I went at about 5:15 pm and the doctor never sent my prescription to my pharmacy. They sent to CVS when I filled every information of my on their app. the next day almost 20 hours i was able to drive to pick up my antibiotics they were not there. I am watching this patient trying to fill out the " paperwork " which is now done through the phone after scanning a barcode. For me , it's fine but for anyone elderly, there is no help. The gentleman at the desk is got to be 80-90 years old, God bless his heart for keeping busy but , not for a Drs office front desk. Very good walk-in clinic, could use a bit of organization and/or client communication re wait times, and a bit of deep cleaning, but for a one-stop shop, really it's close to amazing. I can only give the highest marks for this branch of MD now. I was seen by Daniela. Favia was my x-ray technician. I was completely skeptical about coming here and I didn't have much belief that they would find why I'm sick. They ran a battery of tests on me and found what I had in no time at all. They then prescribed the medication I need to take and I am very happy with my whole experience. From the momentI walked in they were polite and gracious and took my information in record time. My visit to MD Now Urgent Care, Boca Raton exceeded my expectations. When I arrived to recieve stitches for a wound on my right hand I was directed in by Sabrina Clementz, front desk withing minutes, she realized I needed attention quickly. Dr Jay Gorstein, Area medical Director then immediately introduced himself and explained the procedure that he would be doing. His medical assistant, Whitney Harper also helped with the process making it quick and as painless as possible. I had my hair done on Saturday and it looked great! Much to my surprise, just three days later I noticed red marks near my hairline and white flakes in the same area. The red marks looked like burns to me. I am attaching a picture so you can see what I mean. I should also mention that the week before I had my hair dyed. Now I am not a Dr., but to me it looked like I was having an allergic reaction to something. I did not change any meds, shampoos, laundry detergent or anything different from what I normally use. I decided to come here, thinking I would get the help I needed to treat this issue. The check-in was a breeze. The medical assistant who took my blood pressure etc was very nice. So far so good. I was then introduced to Sarah Alli, PA. Things went downhill from here and within two minutes of talking with this woman I was convinced she had no idea of how to treat me. After barely looking at my scalp she immediately diagnosed me with Seborrheic Dermatitis. Maybe because Seborrheic Dermatitis can look like an allergic reaction, who the heck knows what this woman was thinking. I explained to her that I recently had my hair dyed and my stylist used different products on me. She didn't want to hear any of it. Now the causes of Seborrheic Dermatitis are: Stress Yeast that lives on the skin Certain medical conditions Cold and dry weather. I don't have a lot of stress in my life or yeast growing anywhere on my body and being I live in sunny hot Florida, that would eliminate the cold and dry weather symptom. I attempted numerous times to ask specific questions pertaining to her diagnosis and the meds she wanted to write prescriptions for, including a shampoo made out of charcoal. All of my questions were answered with and I quote, "I don't know, I'm not a dermatologist". Like I said, I am not a Dr. but I am smart enough to realize when I am dealing with someone who is not qualified to treat me correctly and give me a proper diagnosis. I made it crystal clear to Ms. Alli that I have good skin and never have had any skin issues in my life. She said I was not having any reaction to hair products and it was just a coincidence that these lesions appeared three days after having my hair done. I declined her prescriptions and got out of that office as fast as I could. I called my dermatologist from my car and luckily one of his associates were available within the hour. So, I schlep down to Coral Springs to see a real doctor. I showed him the notes from Sarah Alli, PA and he just shook his head. Right then and there I knew Ms Alli misdiagnosed me. Shocker alert: I do not have any skin conditions or diseases, but I did have an allergic reaction to hair products. Either the dye or the gel, it makes no difference, it was simply an allergic reaction. I am rating this urgent care center with two stars. One star is because it was spotless and the second star is because there are other doctors and PA's on staff at this facility and as the saying goes "one bad apple don't spoil the whole bunch". And for all I know, the other doctors can be very good. Based upon my experience, I will not return. read more

I went to this location for a sprained ankle. I waited more than 5 minutes (standing on one foot) for someone to come to the front desk when I got there. After waiting for over an hour, the doctor came in, very rushed as it was near closing time, to see me. They did x-rays and sent me away with a small splint. The splint broke two weeks later. I called to get a new splint, and they said they would have to charge me a copay to get the new splint. I am now going to a specialist because my ankle is not healing correctly. Following up on my last review. We had to take our poor 7 year old to the ER tonight for the UTI again. Apparently, the "doctor" at MD Now prescribed the wrong antibiotic for a UTI and she now has to go through a new full course on the appropriate antibiotic for her condition. Why am I not surprised?? Went 12/19/21 (so understand they are overwhelmed with test requests). Checked in and waited 3 hours to get seen (ok, not the end of the world considering). Gave me PCR test. Team was very nice. So disoriented they didn't know if they should charge me when I asked, so they didn't. Now 12/22/21 (PM) & still no results!. Called many times where call center couldn't reach the location which accomplished nothing. I went to Med Express (also very long wait) to get rapid and got my results same day.
